Port 17023 is down on Nicehash and Claymore. Same error on both: Authorization failed

I have one R9 390x and one RX 480 but with claymore ver 5.0 just Rx480 work !! i give this error : (port is busy, use different -mport value) and with claymore 4.0 both of R 390x and R480x works !!! what i must do  Use -mport 0 |

3 minutes. it can be little bit delayed. Is there any way of knowing what coin is being mined on the profit switching port through the API? I don't know what the profit currently is otherwise... |

Anyone got problem with 280x doing 0 h/s in 5.0? Works just fine with 4.0. I have updated drivers from 15.7.1 to latest crimson 16.11.3 - same thing. This is a mixed with nvidia rig with 280x being the only AMD card present: ZEC: Stratum - Connected (equihash.eu.nicehash.com:3357)

Hello,
I just received a Sapphire RX480 8GB (Reference Design) GPU. It is still using stock BIOS, I did not touch it and I do hope I don't need to.
Is anyone around here who has some good parameters that do work with this GPU in order to squeeze some more hashes out of it without modifying the BIOS?
I tested around on my own, but even with "-cclock 1266" and "-mclock 2000" (which should be the stock values if GPU-Z shows me the correct numbers) the system crashes shortly after start of the miner.
I am using the latest drivers. Any recommendations?

Since I did not have success with Claymore Settings I tried the WattTool. This seems to work, nice tool for tweaking and testing around, but I guess it might be a lot of work when dealing with more GPUs and switching between Coins (ETH/ZCash).
I think the problem with the Claymore Settings is, that I can not go below stock settings (overclocking was working, at least for mclock). Could this be a driver issue? I am using the latest one...
Best settings that are stable for running anything; not just mining: Core clock - 1350 Core volt - 1135 Mem clock - 2200 Mem volt - 1100 Set target fan speed to max and target temp to 70C so that it does not throttle itself. |

110+ H/s with my each RX 480 8 GB with the newer 5.0 version. Nice boost for RX!
Ye, it finally matching my 290 but with loads less power. BTW you can get 130-140sols; stable for running anything, not just zec: Core clock - 1350 Core volt - 1135 Mem clock - 2200 Mem volt - 1100 Set target fan speed to max and target temp to 70C so that it does not throttle itself. |

Claymore, i got issue with the new 5.0 ver for 1 of 5 rigs. It has 5 GPU and only 2 is working, the others show 0. Previous vers works ok. Nothing has been changing (drivers, config file, etc).
New 5.0 uses GPU a bit more. You need to downclock your Hawaii cards a bit or increase voltage. Got similar issues on some of my cards. That isn't the issue. It's the know 4xx bug, see previous posts to fix. 1. there's no any RX 4** card, only Fiji and Hawaii 2. My RX 480 nitro's were fixed with little memclock drop - or I constatnly have "driver restored" messages. Run Fiji and Hawaii in separate windows; it's the same bug. |

Claymore, i got issue with the new 5.0 ver for 1 of 5 rigs. It has 5 GPU and only 2 is working, the others show 0. Previous vers works ok. Nothing has been changing (drivers, config file, etc).
New 5.0 uses GPU a bit more. You need to downclock your Hawaii cards a bit or increase voltage. Got similar issues on some of my cards. That isn't the issue. It's the know 4xx bug, see previous posts to fix. |

I have 2 rigs x6 msi rx480 8gb cards(ellesmere 1303/2000 stock) on win 10, z97 gaming mb and 8gb ram, 1200watt psu.
Rig 1 has a small overclock of 1350/2100 using afterburner, tried the same on rig 2 and one of the GPU's crashed.
I am getting roughly 720-750 on each rig, 120 - 130/s per card. Is there anything else I can do to increase speed? I'm not sure what mod I would need for the cards bios or how to do memory overclock. Any help is much appreciated.(I am happy with these speeds but would like to learn how to push the cards harder)
Also, what does undervolting the cards do? Is that just to lower power consumption or does it help increase speed?
Undervolting core allows it to maintain the top speed without overheating. Increase the voltage on memory slightly increases stability. Theses settings are 100% stable; I use them for gaming and mining: Core clock - 1350 Core volt - 1135 Mem clock - 2200 Mem volt - 1100 Set target fan speed to max and target temp to 70C so that it does not throttle itself. |

Awesome work again Claymore. I'm getting 130~140 sol/s across all 9 RX480. 4 of my 290x average about 125 sol/sm, touching 130 sol/s. 3 others give over 130 sol/s, sometimes touch 140 sol/s. Consistent performance difference between the 4 and the 3 at identical clock speeds. All 7 cards have 390x memory controller BIOS mod, the 3 faster cards just all happen to have Hynix RAM and the other 4 Elpida RAM. I was having this same performance difference on older Claymore versions and SilentArmy too. Even though I have tightened the Elpida timings a lot. Can only guess something about the Elpida RAM cards is holding them back. Something other than just plain memory straps  Hi For RX480 what mod are you using besides straps ? Whats your power consumption? Your results look great. I have 6 MSI RX480 4G gaming x (hynix) and 7 RX480 reference 8G (Elpida) No need to mod, I get at 130 to 140 on AMD 480-8gb using these settings: Core clock - 1350 Core volt - 1135 Mem clock - 2200 Mem volt - 1100 Set target fan speed to max and target temp to 70C. Still stable enough for gaming. |

As I see it, this is miner slower than the "Optiminer/Zcash GPU miner v0.3.1: 175Sol/s R9 Nano, 135S/s R9 290, 120S/s RX470". I have 6 x Sapphire RX480 NITRO OC+ and my hashrate with Claymore miner is slower :  AMD 480 does 130sols to 140sols with V5. |
