581  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currency value and Economy debt on: October 25, 2019, 04:54:37 AM
~
I'm not an Economics expert but I don't really like for BTC to be discussed specially when it comes to its price hitting up 100k - 1M usd price.

We can presume all we want but the reality would always slapped you down to the core.Just let things happen as it should be yet we cant
change it off in the first place.

He sounds like he came from future. We can go mess around saying that this and that would happened and then will result in totally unimaginable situation just as his stated. First thing first, we cannot already say that bitcoin would go 100k - 1M as today's market flow aren't progressing towards even in one fourth of 100k. Nevertheless, that is not even a way how economics works like if crypto goes sky-rocketted and then crashed economy will slow-down, of course not, crypto is decentralized on very top of that no one is even the main authority in crypto platform so it doesn't even affect economics in a way that crypto is highly dependent in that.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst Day of My LIFE - Dice on: October 25, 2019, 03:46:10 AM
Borrowed $1600 from my friend. Apart from this placed gold as collateral and got $250. Altogether with hope of returning the borrowed amount and taking the gold back started to play dice after a long. At the beginning it went good, and when my profit reached $200 started to fail. Once I began to loss I was out of my control. Within minutes everything went out of my control, my mind didn't had the ability to think. I just doubled the bets consecutively. Ended with a loss. Now I was in a situation to repay my friend the borrowed amount. Please don't borrow and spend on gambling, it might give an earning, but that mostly leads to suffering. Cry

Feel sorry for you, but first thing first why would you borrow money just to play gambling games. Mate, that was a biggest mistake of yours 'cause you are already in debt without even playing the game itself besides, you are playing in the end with a hope returning your debt instead in a hope of getting profit. Before you play gambling you first make sure that you have your own money to play, and set a certain quota that when you reached it you'll stop playing in order to avoid losing control.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF]Part 2 on: October 24, 2019, 01:12:00 PM
What If,... you're currently playing and suddenly you run out of funds and on the next draw you missed the game which you are about to win the Jackpot.
What would you feel and do about it? Will you stop playing because of that miserable scenario?
And if that happens in real life, you won the Jackpot by your lucky numbers and suddenly you misplaced the ticket, that's a BIG LOSS already don't you think?

-Let's see how'd you feel down about missing a BIG THING in just a blink of an eye.

Of course, I'll be sad but it is okay to burst out your regrets of not winning. What did hurt the most is when you run out of funds which is about to be a jackpot of yours, I couldn't help say any words about that what's for sure is that may be it is really not mine, nor for me even when I do have a funds it might be a different number at the time. Well I will still continue to play out of habit of course but not for the reason I ain't won. Bottom line, is that if you lose, then you really lose no matter what the circumstances are even you run out funds or whatsoever and then could possibly win 'cause win is a win.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: October 24, 2019, 12:39:45 PM
It often happens that people go out to play a variety of games of chance with a certain amount of money, but in the end they spend everything if they are gone. How to prevent which technique you base yourself on to spend no further. It's hard to just give up, people persistent in gambling that day, so they can't just tell themselves they'll try tomorrow. Why is this difficult? Is it because of greed?

Playing gambling are way too fun and exciting when you're on the track of winning straight, it made me you do something unreliable which turns out to be supposed to a winning but an unfortunate loss. Restraining youself loss after loss is at some point unacceptable 'cause you want to regain yourself on the right pace. I think of three good things to somehow stop yourself losing too much money.
First thing, is that use a planner or a record in which will show you much have you lost so that you keep your record on a track and you'll have idea how much money have been lost.
Second thing, balance before you do the game, limit yourself and discipline to stop if you reach your certain quota on how much to spend.
Lastly, get yourself straight, and never ever think of how unfortunate you are on losing such money and just look forward for another day to come.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 24, 2019, 11:59:57 AM
maybe more crypto investors from continental Europe and America. but actually Asia is the biggest market for crypto because it has the most populous countries like China, India and Indonesia. and more importantly, Asia also has fairly stable internet access at the moment, unlike Africa which is still having trouble getting to the internet. many business models that can be applied there, especially in the financial sector such as payment instruments. but why the reality isn't what I imagined. at present crypto is only a notion and there is no real use that can really be applied to crypto except investment.

many think it's all because of the Regulation, but I don't think so. Regulations can be changed and there are currently no regulations that actually prohibit crypto. so this is not the main reason.

then what do you think?

Asia is where the most of the under developed countries came from. Usually Western Countries are fully developed and independent they can stand alone. That is why they usually or rather don't accept bitcoins 'cause those countries don't want other factors affect their economic situation. On the other hand, Asians although there are some who banned crypto usually those are in the progress and fully developed countries, but most of them are on the state of regulation itself specially those who are under developed that is why the crypto market are big around Asia.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: October 24, 2019, 11:12:18 AM
Bitcoin is back down to $ 7500 and altcoin is also following Bitcoin, is this to buy BTC when it is going down badly or waiting for the price of $ 7,000,

I guess no, although, it might go lower than $7,000 (hoping not to). But what's good in this is that we had a big big opportunity to buy bitcoin in bulk. It is too early to guess if it is going right straight down though. And in addition, it is still in October (which is make me kind of scared specially those who are lack in experienced if they already had bought bitcoin) there is still two months to count before we can conclude that 2020 isn't for crypto currency nor close to what happened way back last 2017.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: October 24, 2019, 07:14:50 AM
I've read people asking and posting how to protect their wallet but apart from educating yourself on how to protect your wallet, private keys and passwords, It's also very important that you protect yourself from exposing your portfolio you don't go around telling friends and random people, coins that you are keeping.
And also It's important to have other businesses or jobs and not rely on all your needs to Cryptocurrency, people will notice this and they will think you are making a fortune from Cryptocurrency and they might target you.

So are you protecting yourself and how do you protect yourself and your family?

Felt guilty about this. I do tell it about my friend but they are as well knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and on the other side making fortune out of it trading stuff though. We're just educaing one side or the other apart from this I do tell my family but they seemed uninterested knowing more than I could tell. I feel safe though but I am just can't hold my self back when something going in my mind specially with people whom I know doing stuff about crypto.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit organizations and privacy policy on: October 23, 2019, 09:05:15 PM
I found in privacy policy of one particular exchange that it transfers data about me to credit organizations. Actually the same is true for banks.
In what cases do they do this thing? If I make big enough trade volume at exchange, say $50,000 for year, is this information transferred as well? I suppose it happens only if you do margin trading or something... don't know much about it, except that you take loans from brokers...

Yeah I realize $50k is not big for you

Exchanges companies are no decentralized companies. They are all have rules together like the other companies. Sharing your information to the other credited comapanies was a factor of security handling to prevent issues before hand. Althogh it sounds like you are being watched by many people. Those credited organization was pretty sure that are in terms or connected to the company you used to exchanged, it could be that they as well already did transfer your data of transaction.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 23, 2019, 04:29:36 PM
How do people get involved, how easily are people scammed and reasons?
Major reason is that they are lack knowledge about the internet itself, they tend to forget that all information in the internet isn't real well, half real but not absolutely real. Second reason is that, they need something that has been shown in the internet. Lastly is that those information in the internet seems to be real; sugar-coated words persuades them to engage on those scam stuff over in the internet.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: October 23, 2019, 03:34:00 PM
I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.

Leaving yourself uneducated is a biggest mistake that is why fraud projects seemed to make it easy out there deceiving. I personally cannot think of the possibility that could completely eradicate fraud projects other than self-educating and educating someone on how to trace those fraud projects. When new people or investors  keeps on coming with a lack of knowledge or background to such project was the main reason why is it impossible to eradicate those fraud projects.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE? on: October 23, 2019, 04:36:25 AM
I have been gone for so long due to my hectic schedule at the university, but since I have graduated already and I have taken my board exam I am now back here! Finally.

I have noticed how altcoins I own before depreciate so bad. I even have two or more kind which up to now have no value. Is the market tthat bad already? I mean, I can actually read threads here but ofcourse getting direct feedbacks from all of you who stayed all through out the time I was not around would be very helpful. Please help me learn about the new environment of cryptos now. Thanks.

It is a bit suprising if you left in 2017. Yes market is in a bad state after that even a year after. There's no significant changes even a bit. I just wondering when did you left this community. I do not think that the current market will last long although it has but may be sooner 2020? I guess we could might be have experince bull run. Just hold tightly with those coins of yours. Anyways congratulations to you mate, nevertheless you'll be having your job soon you might be gone again here.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto? on: October 22, 2019, 06:46:25 AM
As more and more investors join this sector, a question everyone should be asking themselves is: "What happens to my crypto if I was to die unexpectedly soon?"
I haven't told any of my relatives about my stuff about bitcoin and my portfolio specially my account. Age gap were the means of why I do find difficult telling something about crypto community. Aside from this even my brother itself doesn't even have any care about crypto currency itself I am just the one who are interested in this.

3) Take a look at Safe Haven. Safe Haven is building an Inheritance Platform that will allow you to do everything above, but with a legal entity that understands crypto and will make sure your funds get in the right hands. Not only will you reassured that your funds are secured and inheritable, but you will also be increasing the adoption of crypto yourself, outside of just investing into it.
This is good if the beneficiary were knowledgeable about cryptocurrency otherwise it would just go to waste. In my case, I do not have any, as much as I wanted my relatives would be the best choice. Besides choosing strangers were suspicious specially if they were bunch of greedy people in behind.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 22, 2019, 04:53:01 AM
Have you ever thought of donating the gambling profits to a charitable cause ?  Sometime people won a big lottery or very high amount of money from betting & gambling games.  Do you ever thought of being generous and helping the poor with this money ?
Ofcourse but I haven't yet win a huge amount of money from gambling that I can say I could donate to charity but if I'll be getting the chance of winning then I could since there are more unfortunate people than me. I haven't though of not giving money from gambling games 'cause majority tend to think that it shows no respect towards the other people 'cause gambling games has a bad image. Sharing is caring and sharing is one of the most good thing I could offer to unfortunates.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With this possibly upcoming crisis in mind... on: October 22, 2019, 03:06:24 AM
With this possibly upcoming crisis in mind, what you guys think about investing in stable coins standardised with fiats?
Is is even a thing, that they will sink like a stone, just like fiats will? Are there any mechanisms that can protect such stablecoins?
Or maybe, I have a misconception of the reasons for their existence and nobody is actually hoarding st.coins?

It is not a good investment for traders 'cause it has low profit than decentralized cryptocurrencies. Although it has a low probability of sinking unlike crypto. Well it is good for payment but for long term investment it is not. Since decentralized cryptocurrencies are bound to burst it is much better to invest on crypto for something sky-rocketted profit. In the end cryptocurrencies doesn't represents any true value.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: October 22, 2019, 12:26:25 AM
Things that damage the economy indirectly.

For example I feel that fast food and an unhealthy lifestyle leads chronic health problems that probably affects the economy not just monetarily.

Of course we can't just deny these people care, just promote a healthier lifestyle.

What are other things that we can change that will affect the economy in a positive way?

Economic growth is associated with progress and advancement. It is a capacity of an economy to satisfy individuals necessity by producing enough products and services, thus, government and those individuals plays a vital roles as well. Enhancing tax revenues would help government for further economic development and as well by continuously coming of foreign investors would be a big help, and lastly is the good review of politics to attract more citizen to participate in such advancement.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mixing Bitcoin?? on: October 21, 2019, 01:13:30 PM
Please I may not be the only lame man here I've longing to know why People typically use bitcoin mixers to mask any previous "questionable" transactions from the bitcoin that they are likely cashing out in their real name. Now let me know about purpose of mixing bitcoins.

Anonymosity is very special to individual specially if you got a transaction that includes a huge amount of money. Erasing your identity is crucial since typically those who have transactions with huge amount of money are attention grabbing for hackers. It is safe to say that knowing the transaction itself by you and only you will take you far away from hackers. Besides, your money is secured and your life as well. Although they are cashing out the money by their real name but at least they are away from tracking in the means of sourcing out their funds or whatsoever it is.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 21, 2019, 11:50:08 AM
I think superstitions are fun to have and entertaining to laugh about, it makes it more interesting.
I am just fooling myself around whenever I am thinking about such superstition. More like a self-boosting medication to cover up my fear betting on something I do not have an assurance of winning. People who just take this far are far more interesting than the superstition itself.
Quote
What are common things you're superstitious about when gambling?
Is this even a superstition? But I do look up on the sky and if it rains in this certain time I might go for betting otherwise I won't  'cause it is just a bad luck.
598  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela's central bank is holding Cryptocurrency! on: October 21, 2019, 07:46:40 AM
According to the latest information from Bitcoin.com, they have reported on this. I don't know if this is a bad effect or a good effect on the market? Everyone can make a point here.

Ofcourse it has a good effect on the market. As economic recession continuously happening in Venezuela, Venezuela bolìvar value gradually decreasing. Venezuela citizens are suffering to even have their basic necessities as buying one is as though sacrificing the whole day without eating any. Venezuela government starts to recognize bitcoin's value, and with that the bitcoin's demand grows that it could have a huge effect in the market. So, it isn't bad 'cause it does help cryptocurrency market to grow.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would ICO scene succeed if it was organized like crowdfunding not investing? on: October 21, 2019, 06:42:20 AM
What would happen if people didn't follow greed and projects didn't promise crazy gains? If this was not main theme of ICO craze, but instead - true and honest support?

If you support someone for example through Patreon - you give him money and you don't really think much what will happen with this money - it's lost for you anyway and you feel good for supporting someone you like.

If all ICOs went that route, sure, we wouldn't see such crazy gains but we wouldn't also see such falls. People supporting projects that would fail would probably don't scream "scam scam!" all the time.

If you give a dollar on a street to someone begging, you usually don't follow him later and check what he bought in a store - liquor or food. Yeah, you are dissapointed probably if you see him drunk next day but you simply don't give him more money.

If ICOs was organized more like that, I think it would be much more healthy environment.

Investments is not something you donate without worryig much in return. You have to monitor, do research about the project as much as possible 'cause the money you invest in it isn't as much as something you donate to someone begging. Yes, it would be healthy in a sense that there aren't much complaint about not having money in return, and fraud but the reason you invest in a certain project 'cause you wanna gain more than you invest. Besides, it would be a bad idea for investor not to complain 'cause it would turn out to be a thing that would drag them down financially.
600  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the odds that the government/banks will truly create their own coin? on: October 21, 2019, 05:45:21 AM
We've all seen this phrase before: that the government and/or banks will more likely to create their own cryptocurrency, but what are the odds that they really will? How can we be sure that these two sectors will create their own coins eventually and will it even change the game if they do? If they did, will it not threaten bitcoins and altcoins because the common people who haven't heard of bitcoin before might choose to use these bank/government-created coins instead? Do we really need more coins?

Isn't it contradicting 'cause they have the authority controlling the fiat they own which on the other hand cryptocurrency isn't own by anyone. I think it would be the same as altcoin if the bank would create their own crypto. Nevertheless, bitcoin would dominate it in market price.  As stated in this https://futurism.com/six-banking-giants-have-decided-to-partner-to-create-a-new-cryptocurrency 6 banks already started partnering their own crypto in crypto community. However, their crypto slated at end of 2018. So, it ain't even a threat to bitcoin as long as bitcoin dominates the market.
