581  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin Website Backlink Trades on: May 21, 2017, 07:35:22 AM
To all my fellow Bitcoin website owners and SEO experts, let's trade backlinks to help boost our rankings in the search engines. Having links from relevant topic blogs helps tremendously for ranking at the top of search engines.

So, if you have a Bitcoin website and are looking to trade quality backlinks, post in this thread. We can PM each other and get things sorted privately.

If we can get a good system going, I am sure we can all rank our sites within a few months.  Tongue
582  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Freebitco.in as a wallet? on: May 21, 2017, 07:30:32 AM
FreeBitco.in is one of my favorite faucets. They have an awesome system going on and I don't mind keep a portion of my BTC there to earn interest.

Also they have a badass referral system (link in sig). You can earn from daily claims, interest and dice rolls.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 21, 2017, 07:12:49 AM
Simple. Build a business that accepts Bitcoin primarily or as another asset class. Boom you are now earning Bitcoin as an income.

As for what kind of online business? Or even physical retail / ATM / Vending Machine style business? That is a whole nother question.

I hear gambling websites do fantastic. As do marketplaces and exchanges. Good luck  Grin
584  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 21, 2017, 07:07:35 AM
I think the price is only going to go up and up and up, as more people learn about it and want it.

How can it ever slow down unless some dramatic hack or news happens? It's just too good of a store of value - the security of a swiss bank combined with an inflation proof asset. Sounds like music to my ears.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: May 21, 2017, 07:05:40 AM
What if Satoshi Nakamoto is an alien and brought us Bitcoin & blockchain technology from the future?  Shocked
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple XRP is a complete fraud GET OUT! on: May 17, 2017, 09:44:58 PM
Sure XRP will be good for investors and banks putting money into it now.

But when Ripple hits the mainstream, the average consumer Joe Blow is going to have a lot of questions....namely how this brand new cryptocurrency came about, who controls and how to get it. Since they can't tangibly hold it, or really use it for anything other than financial transactions they probably won't even use it unless they need to send money far away.

I see this as a power move for early investors and central banks. It is a fantastic hedge against Fiat, especially since the banks are buying in.

The technology is being built because Banks exist, and of course, the system is preparing so they don't come crashing down when the time is right. I smell a lot of fishiness with XRP, but there's so much investment money in it that the institutions are probably going to win out on this.

SO LONG DECENTRALIZATION -> RIPPLE XRP CAP TO PASS BTC  Cry
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: May 17, 2017, 08:26:12 AM
The Antminer Router looks legit. Anyone have experience with it?
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading vs "real money" trading - What are you missing? on: May 17, 2017, 08:19:47 AM
Trading is chump change. If you want to make real wealth, hold for the long term.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Crypto Currency Adoption on: May 17, 2017, 07:39:20 AM
Realistically you are asking for everyone to be well read and informed. Only in a picture perfect world would this be the case.

It is human nature to take shortcuts, especially when it comes to the brain and pleasure/reward mechanism. For most, the act of acquiring money itself is a pleasure (in a sense it is gained power), so they care very little about the how, why or effects of the coin.

These people can be compared to stock investors vs day-traders. There are the Berkshire Hathaways of the world and then there are the day traders who pay attention to what everyone else is doing and the minuscule media mentions.

We are on a Bitcoin forum after all, so it would be normal to assume that a good majority of folks on here are here just for the monetary gains.

Those who do watch the documentaries and read the books, know that Bitcoin represents something much greater and bigger than all of us. And seasoned investors know that it is the true utility of a business that derives its long-term value. Everything else can be manipulated by the Media & Banks (case in point: Ripple).

I say let bygones be bygones and seek to acquire knowledge for the benefit of yourself and those around you. Over the long run, smart investors that invest in a cryptocurrency with true utility will win out.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of my fellow bitcoiners do affiliate marketing? on: May 17, 2017, 07:22:36 AM
With a bunch of people getting into Bitcoin now days it would be pretty easy to write that the newer people will be into promoting affiliates because they would want to get paid money online though I am pretty sure that would be a false claim. Most people want Bitcoin because it's rising up in price, promoting affiliates won't net that much money at all.

The affiliate earnings would be in BTC, so the ratio of earnings would stay the same as the value of Bitcoin goes up.

I agree with whoever said it is a nice way to earn passive income. With Bitcoin affiliate marketing, not only are you earning BTC but the BTC is an investment vehicle at the same time!  Cheesy
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] Why do people buy altcoin? on: May 17, 2017, 06:58:27 AM
It's about trying to find the next unicorn. Most altcoins projects are going to fail, but if you find the one that will win, you are going to earn a lot.

Since the simple use cases have been done (i.e. storage of value), the true unicorns of the future will be bred from possessing massive utility.

i.e. Golem, Gnosis, Ethereum, etc
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple releases 333 million more Tokens on: May 17, 2017, 06:36:29 AM
The XRP bubble will burst at some point. The real question is when...

What really bugs me is that cryptocurrency is supposed to be decentralized, yet here we are with Ripple (XRP) at #2 on the crypto market cap. These guys have a freaking company page that lists all of their investors and "advisors" (https://ripple.com/company/). What other crypto has that? This is a corporation working with the Central Banks. There's no way this shit won't get regulated (of course....who knows, we did have Fiat for 700 years and counting). Smells like one giant smelly dump to me.

How many pumps will the Ripple coin get, til the fun comes crashing down?  Grin
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency on: May 17, 2017, 06:18:27 AM
Doge, Ripple and Ethereum seem pretty darn fast.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple XRP is a complete fraud GET OUT! on: May 17, 2017, 06:12:23 AM
I smell a dirty rat with Ripple. Banks are worried about crypto, and now Ripple is getting the mother of all pumps. This could be an inside job on banks part. Banks hate crypto, and Ripple is pumping.

MEGA Ripple dump is coming soon, this is going to be ugly..........

The money behind this pump is insane though....... every 15% pump has 10% correction with strong buy support. It cannot go on forever.... how in the hell does this end well for anyone.

Sooo much money being pumped into XRP it is scary. So the whole point of crypto is to avoid centralization. Now the banks have all bought in their own slice of the pie in Crypto thanks to Ripple.

Does this mean that a bunch of Fiat wealth from today's Central Banks is just going to get converted to XRP over the coming years? All this tells me is that Bitcoin is going to be more valuable....
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: May 17, 2017, 04:37:21 AM
Dogecoin can still be used as a store of value. So, it still has some use.

Is it true that only the main developer can code for the coin and improve it? I'm sure at some point in the future, applications will be built on top of it. I would be skeptical to believe that it would just die out as it is still an achievement in technology and adoption, albeit Bitcoin and Litecoin came first.

Despite all the negative talk, the truth is that Dogecoin still has a relatively strong community (#5 Community Score)
https://www.coingecko.com/en?sort_by=community_score

It is a meme coin that inspires fun and gives hope - and is a store of value. Not every crypto needs to have a serious worldwide utility like XRP or ETH.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple announces XRP lockup, locking up as many as 88% of its current XRP. on: May 17, 2017, 04:16:18 AM
Is it a good time to sell XRP?
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major burglary on: May 14, 2017, 10:34:28 PM
Gotta be more careful with security and only use hardware and paper wallets for large amounts.
598  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: May 14, 2017, 05:53:09 PM
Gambling is the better business model thanks to the attributes of Bitcoin. It is anonymous, private, secure and free from taxes - all things that gamblers worry about.

Dating, on the other hand, doesn't need to be anonymous so there is no advantage to doing online dating with Bitcoins.

Seriously considering starting a gambling website. What do you guys think - would Litecoin be a good gambling currency?
599  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is gonna die soon! on: May 14, 2017, 08:00:42 AM
Bitcoin is already here....it can not die if it already exists  Grin

For those just getting started FreeBitco.in (link in signature) has an amazing Affiliate program. They pay out a referral for faucet claims, interest and dice rolls.

If you check out their top affiliates they have gotten paid massive numbers.
