The Manchester United Board were too quick to pick Solksjaer as their permanent manager just because he managed to win eight games in a row, that was very stupid, and he ended the season in the same position when Mourinho left the team. I was hoping that they would have gone in for Pochettino and this shows how the entire team has been a joke with Ed Woodward being the biggest joke of them all.
Manchester United have not gotten things right since fergie left the club, it's been a case of trial and error, whether it's in the signings they've made or in the coaches they've hired since then.

Manchester United knew initially that Mourinho wasn't the sort of manager that suited them, but they went ahead to sign him, just because their cross town rivals city got pep Guardiola, and you see how it ended(and I have a feeling Solskjaer would leave that same way). Solskjaer isn't the manager to revive united from the slums, I don't think he's got the pedigree to do so.

United need a manager that'll suit their pattern of play, as well as buy players that'll perform, playing that pattern.
5802  Other / Meta / Re: Continuously creating new bitcointalk account for shilling Walkex ANN thread. on: August 28, 2019, 01:32:52 PM
If this accounts were created just for the purpose of bumping threads, then i think more action should be taking on such accounts as they are offering nothing to the bitcointalk community, instead they are making here look a mess.

The problem is much of this occurs everywhere around the forum, and the moderators are doing their best to act on reports, but there are so many of them, I suggest once an account is discovered as one that is mainly for bumping threads, it should be banned temporarily and if no change is made by the user, they should be permanently banned.

Barcelona again gave an award for Johan Cruyff. The former Dutchman was inaugurated at Camp Nou.
Johan Cruyff was a former Barcelona player in the 1970s, and served as Los Cules manager from 1988 to 1996. He was the foundation of the philosophy of Blaugrana football, and was responsible for the development of La Masia's famous academy.
Yeah, his statue was unveiled at the camp nou, to honor all this efforts and contributions to what Barcelona achieved during both his time as a player, as a manager and even afterwards.

Late Johan cryuff was a legend of the modern game,  as so many coaches in the game today all learnt from him, all his family members and Barca staff was present at the unveiling of the statue.
I think the next legend whose statue would be unveiled in the camp nou would be Lionel Messi.

Edit: Barcelona have also today opened a stadium in honor of the legend Johan cryuff, the stadium is named the Johan cryuff stadium and it will host games for the Barca B and womens team.
The stadium was opened with a friendly match between Barcelona and Ajax, the two most dear teams to the legend.
In attendance for the opening was Messi, pique, Sergio busquets etc.

Congratulations, you're one of the most active users on the forum in the last few months(most especially in meta). And I've actually come across almost all the threads you've made within that period, and really you put in a quality(decent)amount of effort into constructing your posts, and that's the reason for your spontaneous rise to the snr member rank.

I do not think you spent up to a month as a full member, and that's quite an achievement really, considering the large amount of merits is needed to cross each hurdle(rank).
You're a good poster and will continue to rank up no doubt, congratulations, keep it up.
5805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 27, 2019, 05:42:56 PM
Liverpool & City barely lost all last season. Spurs are 5 points off the pace already. If they lose to Arsenal & LFC beat Burnley it’d be 8 points. In previous years you could say a team was still in the race but LFC & City are different animals. The other teams will need binoculars to see them by the New Year.
You do not need to lose matches to drop points, Liverpool drew a lot of games last season and dropped points in the process, they once had a 7 point lead over city, but all that was closed up and they ended up behind city.

The thing with the epl is that even before it kicked off this season, the title race is between city and Liverpool, so spurs have been out of it even before the start  Grin, not because they are a few points behind. Liverpool and city are way ahead of the other teams, except a miracle happens.

I'm sure Sanchez will really move from MU, and MU will accept the joint option offered by Inter to pay Sanchez's salary. Sanchez is one of the best players so it would be a pity if he just sat on the bench.  Sanchez will have a positive impact on Inter game.
Sanchez is a player who is very low in confidence at the moment, I cannot remember the last time I saw Sanchez in full action for Manchester United, and I'm very sure they'll be glad to let him go, considering how much the pay him, simply to stay on the bench.

Probably a change of team would do the trick to revive Sanchez's career, even though I honestly doubt that, i feel his time as a top player has come to a close, I do hope this deal goes through and he proves me wrong.
5807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Bitcoin growing Dominance on the Crypto space on: August 27, 2019, 04:18:52 PM
Bitcoin has always dominated the cryptocurrency market, it's dominance have reduced at times, but not to the extent of an altcoin going higher than it. The proliferation of altcoins in the past years provided a somewhat little competition for the bitcoin, but at this moment, they(altcoins)are more or less valueless in the cryptocurrency market, and this has further increased bitcoins dominance back to the position it was at the "beginning"

Altcoins have lost a large number of its investors to the bitcoin, as altcoin bear market seems to continue, though it improves every now and then based on the direction of bitcoin price.
5808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 27, 2019, 03:23:37 PM
If Tottenham lose that match they’ll be out of the title race despite the season being less than a month old.
Out of the title race after four games? I don't think that's even possible, every team would also have their poor period and lose a couple of games, there is more than enough time for recovery. But that's not to say Tottenham would be in the title race come the tail period of the season.
That's the difference between the two teams defeat. But usually Tottenham if they meet other big English league clubs, they will play well. Things like this are really hard to predict. But I believe that Arsenal can win.
The game would really be a tough one, as its a North London Derby between two fierce rivals, the both games between the both teams last season was played under a frosty atmosphere and I don't think this one would be any different.
I think this match would end in a 2-2 draw.
5809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 27, 2019, 03:02:45 PM
each presidential elections spent millions in their campaign, I don't think they want the results manipulated, can you name those countries.
The very country i come from and for reasons best known to me I wouldn't mention her name here, election results are still well and truly manipulated in my country in favor of the incumbent government, most times majority opinion or votes is simply a waste of time.

I've placed bet on election outcomes before, but it wasn't in an online store, it was in a physical betting house in my area of residence, i find it fun to place bets on the outcome of elections though it doesn't always come often as election holds most times every four years(in most countries), and only elections of top countries are up for a bet.
5810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 26, 2019, 06:44:46 PM
I hope they won't be like Barca-Messi relationship. What a disaster it would be if you need this particular player to keep winning. Any team should be able to score using nearly all of their players, that's what makes it interesting.
You may be correct, team play is vital to a teams success, but even at that every team needs a key man up front to get the goals and make things happen when called upon, just as Messi, Ronaldo, Aguero, Mbappe etc does.

It's not enough if a team plays so well, but do not have a player who gives them that cutting edge, it's good for every player in a team to be able to score, but it's impossible for some to grab more than a few and that's how it is in every team, those with 1,2...5 or 9 goals a season and those with 25-30+ goals, and lewandowski is that man for Bayern without a doubt
5811  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos. Can you add these userscripts to forum? on: August 26, 2019, 06:17:30 PM
@LoyceV, meriting/agreeing to the OP from trusted device but disagreeing from non-trusted device  Huh Strange that I agree with the non-trusted one.
Meriting a post does not necessarily imply agreement.
Correct.
Effort and thought put into a post can make a user merit such post, even if the meriter feels the content of the OP is not 100% correct nor is he or she in absolute agreement, though agreement in most situations is the determinant factor.

This user recently woke up from a long period of inactivity.
The correct way to report a user is to "report such user to the moderators", it's easier and better than making a post or reply to a topic about it. But on a side note, what is the reason for reporting this user? for the fact a user woke up after a long time is invalid to report the user, you can choose to keep an eye on the user till he or she does anything shady.
What makes you believe they are scam links?

Love this post, you spoke the mind of many in terms bounty campaigns, after all the stress bounty hunters are payed in little amount. Just because someone is a newbie doesn't mean he lacks experience about bitcoin.
The forum is not any sort of "body" meant to fight for the rights of bounty hunters, the reward payed for bounty campaign differs, some pay more than the others as rank also plays a part in the amount gotten, if you do not like the amount you get on your bounty, you either try ranking up or changing(advertising) to a bounty that pays higher.

There is no such attack against newbies, the ones who have the knowledge of bitcoin as you claim are making their efforts stand out on the forum and are ranking up in the process.

Lest we all forget the main motive why we are here, to make bitcoin known and acceptable by all
Our main motive here is to discuss about the bitcoin
5814  Other / Meta / Re: Communication on forum with another ip on: August 25, 2019, 12:26:02 PM
More good news for you is that you can even create multiple accounts and run both accounts whenever or however you want except abusing bounty and signature campaigns. The abuse is, joining the same with more than one account.
Other than registering an alt in a bounty campaign, you also should be aware that it's wrong and unacceptable to send merits to your alternative account(s)inorder to rank them up, it would not earn you a ban though, but a red flag(trust) on the both accounts, both the merited and the meriter account which would put the account in negative light.

I think that's about that you need to know about your initial question, if you ask me i think the thread can be locked right about now.
5815  Other / Meta / Re: Yeah! I am out of sMerits as usual: Merit source application @theymos on: August 24, 2019, 06:30:29 PM
You've got my endorsement to carry on the "ranking up" job, and it's one thing that keeps the community growing and lively for good users and posters. I believe theymos would act on this request, it's been long anyone showed interest in taking up the honorable "job".

I've seen a couple of users ranking up in the past months,(i stand to be corrected) and in my opinion the quality of posts on the forum has actually increased, that's why there are more users ranking up and more merits being distributed/in circulation.
The more merit sources we have, the less bad posters have any reason to complain about their incapability to earn merits to rank themselves up; so goodluck on your application.

• Man Utd and Inter still can't reach an agreement for Alexis Sanchez. The Red Devils do not want to pay more than 50% of his wages during the loan. (source)
The fall of Alexis Sanchez is a perfect example of how Greed and Ego can bring you down. With the amount of salary he's earning at United with almost no input from him at all i bet no club wants to have him right now and think of paying that kind of salary to him again.
Should have remained at Arsenal back then.
Or should have moved to city,  I'm still surprised how Alexis chose united over city at that particular time, we were playing good football and were favorites to win the league at that particular time which we eventually did.

Alexis would keep kicking himself for not capitalizing on that opportunity to play for us, win the amount of trophies we have since then and be coached by the best(pep).
I think Sanchez' career is over, he can never attain the height he envisaged and it's due to his greed.
5817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who is to be blame? BM or BH on: August 23, 2019, 02:11:42 PM
Are you talking about bounty managers of some ICO token or the other, if you are, then I fully understand. Because all the BTC campaign managers I've come across do a good job and are true to their words.

Both ICO bounty managers and hunters(in most circumstances)are to blame, the managers make rules and reserve the rights to change them anytime, and that's wrong, there should be a fixed amount to be paid to hunters that should be unalterable.
Because they could see the direction(not so good)the project is heading and reduce the amount of tokens they ought to distribute, forgetting the hunters kept their own part of the deal by completing their posts.

Also the managers should take their time to select good posters for their project to promote it in the right way.
Also the hunters should abstain from spamming low quality post, just to make sure they meet maximum payout.
If everyone would do their job fine, then there would be no issues at all, and the forum would also benefit with less level of spam.
5818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: August 23, 2019, 01:54:38 PM
most investors becomes impatient and quick to judge projects because they are lazy to read and understand and just go by hype to make investments. As an investor, you have to know whether what you are investing in is a long or short term investment plan by reading the projects whitepaper in combination with its roadmap and support accordingly without without feeling impatient and judging the project.
Reading the projects whitepaper in this case would do little to help, as an investor what triggers that impatience is your money that you put in the project. So many coins don't last 24hrs before they begin to fall below their ICO price, though it's not a signal that the coin is going to fail but it's chances of success are not any big as well.

I wouldn't blame investors, watching your money fall with a coin is not easy in any way, if I did invest in altcoins and ICO's which I don't, I'll feel the same way, but I'll also exercise good amount of patience knowing fully well that success takes time.
5819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 23, 2019, 11:13:57 AM
Aston Villa vs Everton tonight, I’m not going to bet on this as it’s such a tough one to predict. What do you guys think?

If I was pushed for a prediction I’d go for Villa to win very narrowly. They’ve lost 2 out 2...
This most times helps to motivate teams going into games on the back of two or three losses, knowing fully well that another loss for them would raise question marks about their determination to stay and compete in the premier league.

There is no way Aston Villa would lose today, it's a "must not lose" for them.
I also doubt they'll lose three games in a row, except of course they were coming up against one of the very big teams in the league.
I think I'll be placing a bet on this one for a draw, most probably a 2-2 draw, I'll be watching out for this one eagerly.
5820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank account froze after selling btc (UK) on: August 23, 2019, 10:52:57 AM
In my country cases such as this happens frequently, and it's not only common to cryptocurrency transactions, when an account is suddenly credited with a large amount of money, the financial commission usually begins to investigate on such funds and most times while investigations are ongoing the accounts are usually frozen.

So probably the amount of bitcoin you converted to your currency is one that raised suspicion in the banks and the regulatory body for financial control.
So you'll need to clear yourself, as long as cryptocurrency is a legal business in your country(which I think it is), so i believe in no time your account would be unfrozen.
