5801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Resist all temptation to fomo on: February 20, 2020, 11:30:43 AM
Im sure we are all aware what fomo means.

Bitcoin has indeed ran a good race to over 10 000$ and it has pushed up the prices of altcoins simultaneously

Do a proper root research before getting into altcoins, resist all temptation to fomo.

Because when btc moons, the dead alts can rise momentarily only

NB, FOMO is not a good feeling during the bulls
FOMO can only be good if you have done a research and you are comfortable on the outcome of your investment, there are bad FOMO and good FOMO some FOMO can lead you to huge profit and there is FOMO that should be ignored, because it's only to deceive investors into investing into something that is fake.
5802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with so many pages in one thread on: February 19, 2020, 02:52:03 PM
If a crypto project has so many pages in just one single thread on this forum, does that mean they are doing good work with their project, keeping focused every day and their supporters are also active and contributing with good content each day? or a project having many pages in one thread has to do with other reasons?

I have seen the Dash project, for example, having a lot of pages in just one thread, and they are one of the top threads in the altcoins section.

If a project has many pages and they keep very active does that guarantees the potential buyers a good investment with them?

Yes, the project is active but that does not mean that the project is legit and worth investing, remember Bitconnect has a huge number of pages but it turns out to be a big scam and a Ponzi scheme, it all goes down to the project and how the community see it, don't trust the announcement always check if the platform really contribute to the growth of the community.
5803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOU need to Stop using YOUTUBE! come and check this new platform! on: February 19, 2020, 02:04:38 PM
Well, it is a good way to promote the project and also come with the ideas of competing YouTube. However, YouTube still becomes the best channel to make, upload, and also get al videos easily, very easy. Moreover, YouTube has been one of the media that we can gain to get earning.
Can you tell me what is the benefits using that channel than YouTube besides giving free cryptocurrency? If it relates to the free crypto to get, is the coin worthy and has been listed on an exchange?

its listed on binance, gate.io and others, check it here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/contentos/

I am not aware of this project, thanks for posting this one sounds new to me, there are a lot of projects that try to challenge Youtube but if it's true that they are rewarding people by just watching and uploading videos then we have a good video sharing sites that will give Youtube a RUN FOR THEIR MONEY.
5804  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Binance 10,000 BTC and 100,000 ETH giveaway on: February 18, 2020, 07:22:20 AM

Obviously it is and people will keep on falling on this kind of scam if they do not moderate their greed I have been reading a lot of similar giveaways and they keep persisting and keep on setting up after the first one was exposed because there are still greedy people that will fall to this kind of scheme, and there are so many greed people waiting in line.
5805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 18, 2020, 07:04:29 AM
Well it sounds like their already planning for a Trilogy however this match ends up

Wilder-Fury II has trilogy rematch clause - Warren

"The loser has 30 days to call on the rematch and that has to be accepted," Warren told BBC Radio 5 Live.

https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/28722461/wilder-fury-ii-trilogy-rematch-clause-warren

That will be possible if the two fighters agreed for a rematch and if the fights want the two to go for it again if the third match is not appealing anymore there is no use even if they both want to have it again, take the case of the Joshua Ruiz fight they are both even but the fans and the promoters don't want it to happen again, because they thought they it will have the same result.
5806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why exchange coins moving up.. on: February 17, 2020, 04:14:09 PM
Its good move if one wants to invest in exchange tokens or coins, but not all of these coins are good, binance coin (bnb token) is very good in value today because the team put the token at good use on the exchange, it all depends on the team's move

We used to have hype in exchanged based token and there were so many exchanged based token, launched in the past, but after getting funded they are all gone and did not even bother to set up their platform, some of these are Adab, Bitmillex, Ironx Xera the list is very long and so many new coins based on exchanged are still coming up, I don't recommend investing in these kinds of projects.
5807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 17, 2020, 04:06:48 PM
Yes, some gamblers really do win but unfortunately, it's a very small percentage, and the house always wins, this is the reason why gambling is a multi-billion dollar industry, and new online casinos are coming up to get a slice of this huge industry.
let's admit it gambling is addictive, gamblers always come back to play and this is what gambling casinos are taking consideration, they always have a returning client or customers, the money just keeps on coming.

5808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 16, 2020, 07:47:25 AM
I found it as one of the most interesting question from this article. http://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/content/20-questions

Do you guys have that kind of feeling when you are losing in gambling?

I don't have yes and feeling on all those questions so I can safely say that I'm gambling on a safe side and that's good to know that I am gambling in a safe way, the only way that you can deal with gambling in a compulsive way is to have a good and strong character it must be nurtured in your younger years and a good family interaction and relationship.
5809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it correction time? Market down by 8% on: February 16, 2020, 05:17:13 AM
There's always correction for every pump and for every dip you should expect this, that has always been the case ever since but the recent drop is very huge at this point in time where we are in the bull run, we'll just the hope can recover and reach the $12000 mark before the end of the year, I have a bet with a friend that it will reach $15000 before the halving.
5810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: February 15, 2020, 03:53:14 AM

Are we going for a Bull run like 2018, Or this time Bitcoin and altcoins will unleashed separately.

It's happening ever since and I don't see either coin will go on a separate way, investors want diversity in their portfolio so they always add coins that are already made their mark online and those with good future potential, I don't see thing changing this year Bitcoin is moving and so are the top coins in the market is very dynamic and so are coins in the market, well they should be.
5811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2020, 11:57:36 PM
Hi friends:
What is the reason for the large fluctuations of altcoins in your view? Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin and fluctuating with the smallest news? Of course, I mean the altcoins that have good ideas, professional support,... not the shitcoins.

I don't see it that way when there is bad news all the coins that include Bitcoin shows all the signs of decline, it's the total market action, you mentioned that top altcoins in the market they perform better in all the news bad and good news and they always bounced back I always checked the prices of each coin and they all show sign of resiliency.
5812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Brave the best crypto friendly web browser? on: February 12, 2020, 12:35:39 PM
Toolbars like Pei and Lolli seem great at earning small amounts of Bitcoin.  However, Brave seems like the best browser to actually get rewarded for just surfing the web.  Are there any others?

Yes the brave browser is very user-friendly and we can earn regular income from them just using brave browser in any device like mobile or computer. The earnings is always depending on country based so I am getting around $5 wroth of bat coins every month. Except brave I never find good one till now.

There are ads for Browser user but like what you've said it still depends on the location, I'm not earning as much compared to you. I like using Brave than Chrome but I'm using these two for all my online activity, but maybe in the future we;ll also see some programs like Brave, who knows Google will come out one, but that's far fetched right now.
5813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 11, 2020, 04:35:26 AM
I like to know your opinion about the question because I believe every gambler has a different way of managing himself.

My answer to the question is I can easily stop when I am winning because I am afraid I might end up with nothing since I know to myself that I am not yet consistent enough to win in gambling, however, based on my experience, I can't easily stop when I am losing despite the fact that I already set up a limit to gamble in a certain day or a certain session.

Do we have the same attitude or not?

I prefer stop when you are losing, this is hard to accomplish because gambler tends to believe that the next roll will be the next roll that they are waiting so they keep adding and deposit more funds in the hope that they can recover what they've already lost and win some more which is a dangerous thing to implement.
5814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: February 11, 2020, 04:05:40 AM
This is a very good article dealing with the Frozen drop:

https://medium.com/incas/kick-token-market-manipulation-analysis-c337261a5d92

I am one of the recipients, but despite all the team's claims, I doubt we will be able to cash out these tokens without some sort of a deal with the devil, and even then their value will not be as it is stated in our wallets.

I don't know this token I also got it now it because I received a huge amount and surprised that it has value in the market, but unfortunately, I cannot deposit or send it, I guess this is a marketing strategy for attention and profit and I doubt that we can trade this token, they might ask us to deposit a certain amount or do some task, I don't know what's their next move will be.
5815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 10, 2020, 02:14:07 AM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?

Money cannot stop me from gambling in fact more of it is a temptation to gamble more, relationship and commitment are the two things that can commit you to stop gambling, it will change your priority but you cannot drop gambling right away there is a slow process for this, it's like a habit you can get over it by slowly.
5816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wish for bounty projects that seem impossible on: February 10, 2020, 02:00:47 AM
This is just a wish, I hoped for it and asked around but yet it seem impossible, the best thing in ever wished for on this forum is bounty projects should start paying in bitcoin or stable coins to bounty hunters, doing this will avoid dumping their tokens buh .... I guess its not going to work since most new projects have no money to do so. they are better off paying hunters in their very own token, damn!

That's always been the case, but there is an exception to the rules, there are some bounty that pays with coins that area already in the market, they may not be Bitcoin and Ethereum but their own token that is already in the market, right now Emirex and Blockburn are two of these, but it's about the potential of the project that matters.
5817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: February 04, 2020, 11:20:14 AM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you
In the first place, you should never join a long bounty campaign, if the campaign is paused then you have wasted a lot of time, check the project if it really has potential so you will not be blaming anyone if the project is paused or a failure, join a short campaign with an option that you can keep your stake if you leave the campaign.
5818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 03, 2020, 02:20:37 PM
Lately, I've been gambling a bit too much again and it's impossible to add limits to most crypto gambling websites.
Heck, I've found it to be impossible to just remove your account, without contacting support.

I think it should be mandatory, or at least standard, to include easy ways to prevent members from gambling.
In my country (Belgium), legal gambling websites are required to have player-imposed limits, plus general limits on their websites.
I wish crypto-based gambling websites would do the same.

Anyway, I've just sent an e-mail to the one casino I was still playing on, to close down my account. I hope they'll do that without any issue.
But still, I wish they would just add a function to do it by yourself, or add some self-control functionality.

I.e. let people exclude themselves for X amount of time

You should know that gamblers should play at their own risk, gambling sites are a profit-driven company that, they do not interfere on the motivation of the gambler all they want is for players to play a longer time and adding more funds in their dashboard and chase for their win.
5819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: February 03, 2020, 12:14:47 AM
What is the purpose of making that unification fight ? You don't get any belt. You don't get any rating points. The only thing you can get is an injury. And money...

Unification bout is very important to see who among the champions really deserves to be called a real champion on that division, we now have 5 boxing organization and it's good for the boxing world to see unification bout to represent only one weight category, of all the unification what i really want to see is the bout against Wilder and Joshua.
