I told you in the pm about me that why I asked about the trust ratings of that account, as no one would in their right mind would sell their legendary account for such low price unless it is a negative rated account.
You need to look up the word 'intent' in a dictionary. And you don't want to change my negative to neutral, even though you have changed the same for other users who were "HEAVILY" involved in the account trading business.
That was a mistake / I was deceived by people who were acting to be genuinely concerned about those ratings. I'm making those right by tagging people once again. Additionally, just because I do X for someone that does not mean that I have to do X for you (or to you), not that this is applicable. |

Either this is a play in order to smear my name or they have gotten blackmailed / scammed by someone pretending to be me. This is why you should verify things via signed messages or PGP.
Could you post the links posted from that user? Could you ask an admin to give you the email that the user has registered with? Where is the text regarding the payment? Why have you paid the user? Where did you send the payment to? So much information is missing.

Are you telling me that you start using an exchange that you're not familiar with without doing proper due diligence? Might as well send your money to a Bitcoin burner address. Googling yobit.net and "scam" doesn't yield much at all. That's why I started this thread. So it can show up in Google results.
You should query results from Bitcointalk, those usually are better: http://bfy.tw/Di8R. Ive had a real problem with yobit holding withdrawl on wallets that are supposed to be working. ive had shrm on withdraw for a week. all it says is in process with no answers from support and no way to cancel, the price crashed 70pct while they froze the withdrawl. CROOKED and NASTY

I think some people have preset exit points, such as when it reaches just under $5k, I'll sell x% which will allow me to say buy a car, or pay off my mortgage.
Buy a car? Such an useless waste of money. Everyone knows that it will probably go up, but when you hit a life changing price target, you'd be mad to continue taking 100% risk.
That is absolute horse shit. If you understand something better than the 99% of the population, then you should be going 110% in (of course, only if it makes sense to invest). The best time to buy Bitcoin was 7 years ago, the second best time is today. Quote me on this in 3 years and you will see whether going in 50% or 100% was the smarter choice. |

The number of hours that admins spend on Epochtalk per week is near 0. Aside from theymos directing the development every now and then, Cyrus has zero hours to contribute to that project. Even if they were busy, that would just be another bullshit excuse. A lot of folks seem psyched about DeepOnion. Is there a discussion you can link where people discuss it being a likely scam coin?

How will this project be affected by the Lightning Network? Will people still use exchanges the same way to trade coins that use a Lightning Network and cross chain atomic swaps?
1) LN isn't ready let alone atomic swaps. 2) It will not work on a lot of coins, especially not at the beginning. Remember, each coin has to implement Segwit then get LND support. 99% of the shitcoins do not have competent developers to do either one. 3) Yes, LN will not replace exchanges. 4) Easy-of-use issue. |

The sooner you do, the better it will be for you. To be honest I have only been watching this coin for like 10days and it has a volume of only 8btc on Bittrex.
It depends. Crypto is heavily manipulated, thus you can see very weird volume. For example, BSD had a volume of over $2m in 24hours not long ago. This represents 1/3-1/4 of it's total market capitalization! I want to take time and see where the prices are going.Also I dont want a whale to get rid of 5 Btc and crash the price, then losing alot of money :p
The price has been holding pretty steady level for a while (ignoring the swings). But honestly this coin seems sooo underrated !? Why ?? In how long will it be mainstream in the crypto community ?

Yeah it's all good for most of us but it probably takes something a bit more volatile to excite now. Maybe powering past $5000 will bring the train & rocket gifs out again I don't want volatility. We've had plenty of that not long ago. The first *exciting* movement will be hitting $5k for the first time on Bitstamp. Then I'll probably be bored until $7.5k. Do I have to pay capital gains if I buy shit with my BTC? Like gold, or magic cards, or factory sealed og pepsi clear?
It depends where you are located at, however the likely answer is no. You're just using a currency that went up in value. You don't pay capital tax on shitty fiat when you use it either.  |
