5821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BAKKT The Pump To November on: October 04, 2019, 06:31:38 AM
Didn't click on that video but my take is that people are really being enthusiastic about Bakkt, we have seen it effects on the market early on and it's not good.

However, let's give it some time though, maybe it can bring more money this November - December and we can see some actions along the way. If no price boost in the next two to three months then we can call Bakkt the "bust of the year", Lol.
5822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Capacity to Kill Bitcoin! on: October 04, 2019, 06:11:57 AM
I wonder what's the point of killing though? You need to have a motive to kill bitcoin isn't it?

We have survived the first ten years and I have no doubt that bitcoin will continue to flourish and that last bitcoin could be mine as well. I'm sure everyone here will not going to see that day, however, I still think that even if we exhausted the last bitcoin, it will still move forward and one day could be the scarcest commodity in the future.
5823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: INFOGRAPHIC: Crypto Trading Terms Beginners (& Even Veterans) Should Know on: October 04, 2019, 04:46:19 AM
You have hard cap term? where is the soft cap? Actually I was looking on technical terms, you can probably create a new one for beginners term regarding that TA I think that would be great.

How about crypto lingo beginners version? Anyways, thank you for creating this one, I'm sure that beginners and experience traders will definitely appreciate your efforts putting this one.
5824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea precedent ruling allows cryptoexchanges to be sued due to lost funds on: October 04, 2019, 04:24:23 AM
I think we have seen this before:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinbase-uk-settles-lawsuit-with-victim-of-email-phishing-attack

So probably we can see this happening in the future and this could really set a precedent. I mean we has seen exchanges being hack, exploited and there's nothing that traders can't be but lost everything here. So exchanges need to be responsible at least to protect our money and have some kind of protection in chase of a breach. And suing them is the best logical thing to do so that the money can be return to us.
5825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinexchange.io is Closing Down. Official announcement. on: October 03, 2019, 01:17:30 PM
So "another one bites the dust".

Haven't used this trading platform so I can't really say any comment's how good or bad this exchanges is. The good thing though is that they quickly inform their customers that they are officially shutting down and give time for them to withdraw their money.

I don't think it's about competition though, the only reason is that we are in the bear market so obviously no money is coming in or at least the funds is not enough to sustain their exchanges, so to cut their losses it seems that this is the logical thing to do.

But then again, we have hundreds of exchanges out there that are willing to take the spot so most likely we won't feel the gap here, just saying.
5826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not be deceived by inexperienced bounty hunters on: October 03, 2019, 12:56:39 PM
Try not to be beguiled, there is cash to be make in promoting bounty projects ,the individuals who make colossal cash will never express an announcement about it, don't leave since individuals reveal to you they aren't paying because i still find out today that many bounty hunters still don't know what they are doing when choosing projects to promote, they are still choosing projects blindly and don't depend on a solitary tasks either but the most important is not to get deceived by inexperienced bounty hunters cos they will always have bad news to share about bounties
In some ways You are right, but in General the ICO market itself has changed too much. Many startups this year virtually nothing was collected.Accordingly, it is very difficult to earn on bounty programs.
That is because the alt market suffers from a bearish cycle that's why there's no more money to be made as compare to 2017 wherein even airdrops will give you a $100 return. As far as inexperienced managers, I haven't join bounties with them, I have nothing against them, but I looked for more experienced managers specially those who have good reputation and won't simply accept scam projects.

But as I have said, damn this bear market, everyone is really on the edge whether to continue doing bounties or just let this cycle go away first before joining campaigns again, because its not worth to spend hundred of hours and in the end, you won't received your rewards.
5827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IAAF DOHA 2019. on: October 03, 2019, 12:32:04 PM
I'm watching this competition, but I don't bet on athletics events because I'm not expert in these sports.
Today we saw womens 100m final and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won it easily.
There is new quite interesting even in this championship - mixed relay when man and women running at same time -it's fun to watch.
IMO, Doha was terrible choice for championship. Conditions for athletes is terrible - 40°C degrees temperature and huge humidity and they have to held events at night. And stadium is half empty on this championship.
But it's all about dirty Qatar money. And I'll just remind that next football World Cup will be held in this country :/
As far as I know this is not the first time that the World Athletics has been held in Doha so athletes and the coaches should know that the weather can really affect them negatively.

No more Usain Bolt that's why the US has dominated the 100 meters with them winning the gold and silver respectively. But the time was still off, Bolt still holds the record in the 100 meters and I doubt that someone in the next ten years are going to break that.
5828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: October 03, 2019, 12:06:06 PM
Mavs fan out there, did you watch the recent interview with Kristap Porzingis?

Look at his built. I've noticed that his body becomes more bulk up. Damn, what did he do while out on NBA (aside from involving into a brawl lol)? Like he isn't came from an injury.

Maybe others will see it as a disadvantage since he might become slow but for me, he will be like an athletic version of Dirk Nowitzki.
Perhaps he is getting his body in shape this season specially if he is going more on the paint rather than shooting outside. So bulking up is the logical choice here.

Definitely he can be slower, but I don't think that it will affect his shooting hands though. He could literally practicing thousands of shots per day with his new frame and see how it goes for him.
5829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 02, 2019, 03:18:31 PM

We know that Bitcoin celebrated its 10th year anniversary this year and for the past many years so many things had happened especially with the birth of this new and trending cryptocurrency industry. In a short period (as compared to the fiat currencies we have around) of time, Bitcoin  was able to achieve many things. Yes, Bitcoin is not perfect and maybe it will never be but with its accomplishments at hand, we have a lot to celebrate actually.

Now, Bitcoin is starting its journey for the next 10 years. There are many challenges and maybe even negative developments that can severely affects its viability but at the end of the day I am sure that Bitcoin can be able to weather them all.

How do you see Bitcoin 10 years from today?

This should probably be appropriate in the Speculation board.

No doubt that it still be the king of crypto.

Probably LN is already adopted and we might see online and offline stores accepting BTC as mode of payment.

But I'm seeing that many governments around the world is still divided about bitcoin and crypto in general.

And as far as the price goes, six digits is not that bad,  Grin

5830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digitization of National Currency Bring value to African Currencies? on: October 02, 2019, 02:47:46 PM
First, that country has been exploited for centuries that's why the country has turn for the worst.

Second, before adapting digital currency, I think the government need to improvement their infrastructure. How can they support crypto when internet is poor or slow to say the least?

With that said, I think there are more pressing problems to deal with. So I don't think that that having their own crypto back up by the government will be the solution here.
5831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 02, 2019, 01:54:37 PM

Possible, but Manny is looking for money fight as well so I don't know if incentives are good if he ever decided to fight Danny Garcia who lost to Porter. And Manny could be criticise again her, for facing a fighter who lost to Porter who Spence beat.

Spence is not really a huge market but Pacman can attract crowd so it will be a big one.
Based on the last fight between Spence and Porter, both have a purse of $2 million and a percentage of the PPV numbers according to https://www.forbes.com/sites/joshkatzowitz/2019/09/27/errol-spence-vs-shawn-porter-odds-records-purses-predictionboxing-biz/#3fae69182859...

That's why spence is calling Pacman because he wants to earn big money from that fight.

While we can analyze based on the Thurman vs Pacman fight.

https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/news/manny-pacquiao-vs-keith-thurman-fight-purses-prize-money-each-fighter-on-main-card-will-take-home/
Quote
When all was said and done, the 40-year-old Pacquiao not only earned gold, he earned some serious dough. PacMa earned a guaranteed purse of $10 million, according to ESPN. Meanwhile, Thurman, who's continually aiming to cement himself as one of boxing's pound-for-pound best fighters in the world, will collected $2.5 million.

---

To make it short, Spence purse will increase when he will fight pacman and manny might earn bigger as well.
But of course, we can't compare it to May Pac fight as that rematch would surely be a blockbuster, they will break their own record for sure.
That's what I'm trying to point out. Spence just won so his stock will grow. Instead of Manny fighting Danny Garcia who just lost to Porter in which Spence Jr beat in a close decision. So it doesn't make sense to fight Danny Garcia here.

Pacquiao is still the A-side here, no matter who he faces so definitely he will got the lion share of the money here.  And we all know that guys are calling up Pacquiao because it's really a sweepstakes because of the huge money they can earn even if they losses the fight.
5832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 24.09.2019 - another black day in crypto? (Red Market) reason? on: October 02, 2019, 01:29:05 PM
OK, about a week since the OP has opened this thread, I do hope that you guys by this time understand how this market  works. It's a series of cycles, last week we're in red but today we are seeing the market bouncing back. So if you panic last week and sold your coins, I'm sure you are somewhat regretting your decision by today. So let that be a lesson for everyone here, it's not really the end of the world when we suddenly see the market crash. It's how we're played by manipulators and it's how people react to the news. Just be calm and you don't need to panic you just have to use your common sense and think about the long term.
Actually put emotion in trading or an investment is bad idea. When panic come, and we sell our assets because of dump, we can be regret like what you said. And what make it worse, when price suddenly increased and we don't have any assets anymore, we will buy in whatever it's price.
Obviously, we have heard that you shouldn't be emotional in trading. But what can you do when there is a lot of stakes on line? So it's just normal to say the least to react to such bad news in the market. The issue here is that noobs investors are really affected and react for every market dip.

We don't know if they invested a lot of money or just too ignorant about what's crypto investment is all about. So most of them regret selling, or thinking of going back to the market and buy again at a a high price, dumb move and I'm sure they have learn their expensive lessons here.
5833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to learn trading on: October 02, 2019, 01:05:21 PM
From my experience, I didn't enroll on any crypto trading courses. Not that I'm against it, but I think it is just a waste of money. You can start looking for Youtube channels that is free and you might pick a thing or two.

I'm sure majority here specially those who have been in the market for too long didn't learn it through online courses. Because most of them started their trading journey by simply opening an account in any trading platform and learn it thru getting their hands dirty on this business.

That's why I recommend that you try it first hand though, its normal to make mistakes in the beginning, and learn from your mistakes and be a better crypto trader. As the saying goes, there's no better teacher here but experience.
5834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is in Short Term Accumulation Stage before Halving FOMO on: October 02, 2019, 12:42:44 PM
We are still like 7 months before the halving so it's hard to speculate what will happen after that. But if we are going to look at its past history, the price doesn't shoot the next day, it takes months and years to finally see a new all time high.

As for the FOMO, every day we hear a lot of FOMO's so I'm not surprised that at we got closer to the actual date of the halving, we will see a lot of crypto related media picturing the halving as the only one that can boost the price (and I'm sure lots of noobs then will buy that news).
5835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 02, 2019, 12:13:33 PM
If Senator Manny Pacquiao will go for Errol Spence I guess it’s going to be one sided again, all rounds will be on Manny Pacquaio. After watching the last fight Errol Spence, I am not that convinced on how people described him as a fighter, I’m thinking that praises to Errol is nothing but a hype.
If we're going to see the Spence that show in the Porter fight? Then for sure Manny will have a field day and it could be a one sided fight. Or it could be the same as in the Thurman fight. When Manny took the match to Thurman and he hasn't any reply except around the middle rounds but Manny closes the gap in the closing minutes to steal the round from him. I wouldn't call Spence a hype, but the fighters he faces before the Porter fight is not on an elite level. That's why hen he faces Porter, which we can say a guy that is above what he use to face before, he has a hard time and people are saying that he exposes Spence.

I would love it if Senator Manny will chose Danny Garcia on his next fight.
Possible, but Manny is looking for money fight as well so I don't know if incentives are good if he ever decided to fight Danny Garcia who lost to Porter. And Manny could be criticise again here, for facing a fighter who lost to Porter who Spence beat.
5836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Golovkin vs. Dereyvanchenko - Vacant IBO Title on: October 02, 2019, 11:46:36 AM
I'm not familiar with Dereyvanchenko so I checked his boxing record,

https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/691996

He looks solid but when we step up the competition against Daniel Jacobs, he lost. So for me, he doesn't have that elite level status as compare to triple G here.

So I would definitely say that Triple G can easily win this fight and it could end in a knockout. As far as age goes, he still got it even though we know that he won the first fight against Canelo and the second was a close one that can go either way.
5837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 29, 2019, 11:06:07 AM
Patrick is very dominant in his defensive role and frustrates forwards with giving them no space to make a run at the bucket.
We know that, he is a real definition of a defensive play who always makes some hustle play in the floor, you need to have a high patience when you are guarded by him because if you will get easily frustrated, that's his victory.

With the addition of Kawhi and PG13 Clippers is going to be a great contender for sure. Also excited to see Zion play for Pelicans next season.

They will carry this team to a higher level and if they will win in the west I'm sure they will not have a hard time winning the championship.

Their tough journey is in the West, they need to beat the Lakers and the Warriors as their first priority.

I'm excited to watch zion but i'm expecting too much from this kid unless he actually gets to play with the big guys. We've seen several hyped up top picks end up as busts. These busts have very good and promising college credentials but ended up not fairing well at all becuse of either injuries or they're simply just hyped up.
Too early to say about this kid, but he is one ridiculous athlete so I'm sure he will adjusted well in the NBA. He just need someone from behind to really mentor because there's a lot of expectations from his kid. Yes he can be undersized in NBA standards, but since he is a freak of nature, he could really adjust in about one or two years.

Similar to what we witnessed about Giannis, one super freak athlete, the team behind supported him and he evolved very quick, winning the NBA MVP.
5838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Over 2000 Projects Reviewed – 640 have not published a single Code in 2019 on: September 29, 2019, 10:14:26 AM
I guess it has something to do with the bearish alt market in 2018, devs thought that they can get away by just pushing the first code and let the market pick up their tokens and make millions. However, since the alt crypto winter, those devs was shock and doesn't have the nerve to continue because they know that they won't survived.

As for Yobit listing most of them, what do you expect from a shit exchange? I guess they are not strict when listing those shitcoins, once the project paid them handsomely, the next day you will see that coins listed.
5839  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Beware] FairWin, is allegedly putting user funds at risk on: September 29, 2019, 09:46:19 AM
If that is the link then obviously you can't trust that site because it's not even on SSL.

I think there's a lot of fake and phishing site which involves online gambling. So gamblers really need to be careful which site to use and play. Just stick to the old and reputable gambling sites around and not those fly-by-night site like this one.

There's also a lot of them in the Google Play Store and IOS app store so everyone should be very careful.

Edit: Read here.
5840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Spence Jr vs Porter on: September 29, 2019, 07:39:04 AM
It was really a good fight, might be fight of the year candidate, Porter gave everything he got, I would have to agree the he was the aggressor in the fight and bringing it to Spence all the time. Unfortunately, he was caught and get knock down, but the guy has a solid chin and still continue. But he as not that accurate though, final score 116-111 for Spence, 115-112 for Porter, and 116-111 for Spence.
I shall say that this is should how boxing looks like.Giving out their best and fight for their hearts content. Classic in fight and giving out body blows.
The thing i dont like on how they do score out that 116-111 for porter? If that one doesnt have knockdown i would say that Porter would have it.
Rematch would be soon for sure.
I agree that it was a classic fight, if Porter wasn't knock down the fight could have been obviously close in the book. However, Porter try to fought back during the same round, he did everything he could and he really make Spence uncomfortable fighting inside, it's that he was just hitting the gloves of Spence.

It was a gallant effort on his end, props for Porter, though I was thinking of a Pacquaio vs Porter would be more interesting because of their styles. We have know that style makes fight so a raging bull like Porter will be a good match up for Pacquiao.
