You are completely taking risk for shifting your ADA to ETH but if you think that's the best choice, do it.
Everything has its own risks, we don't need to worry so much about it. Since ETH is a good coin so far, I think it is no problem to sell ADA for ETH. Every coin has the potential to increase as long as it is not a scam coin. I think it is okay if he already considers everything to hold ETH. Yes, I just mentioned to emphasize that he's taking risk if he thinks it will be the best for him. A good correction in market back up again with full POWER
It has corrected few days ago and now it's back to $311. I think we'll see a true power after that correction because bitcoin seems to be standing still and didn't go as low as $10k just like what most of the speculations and chart readers analyzed. Stronger than ever before. We have to be careful though because the market caps we think are possible are also somehow frightening at the same time because it means a lot of p power to a particular project.
Careful in what way? we're just looking to the price and there's no need to be careful. Someone should be careful if he has invested to a project (ERC20-based) that looks scammy. |

I intend to hold if it hits $500. I would be looking at $750 before I consider trading/selling. I only have a small amount of ETH so the impact either way will not be too much for me.
Mine isn't too big as well but I'm aiming for same price or higher but still it would be a nice profit if ever ETH goes on rage up to those prices. ethereum 2.0 will jump to 1k scalability and usage will increase you will see
Would be a good time if I can sell at $1k in no time. |

But if you have an option to keep your ADA and use spare money you have to buy ethereum, do it. If you find it not worth it anymore to hold ADA and there's a sense of urgency to sell and convert it to eth, go on.

I can't judge it base on the current rank in the coinmarketcap because there are coins that managed to reached the top 100 but later on they were gone. You just can't pass your assignment to other people, have you made any research already before asking?

My brother had invested in bitcoin where market price has down to 3K usd. Seeing the current market and the needs arisea, my brother had cash out already and I am not surprise that he trippled his money investment. Good for.him but I think it must be hold still if I were on his side. The only problem is that I am not control of his money and seeing him profited in bitcoin makes me regret why I am.not investing and risking money during the bear market.
Don't worry about him and don't show any interest to his money although you are brothers but it should be separated from being brothers. He did a good job for selling at high price so just be happy for him. If you regret not investing at lows, there's still a chance to do it and that is now. Who among you here does not hold btc anymore and afraid of investing to bitcoin? Did you regret of not investing on bitcoin too?
We are in a bitcoin forum and everyone here has a different taste about investing and taking risk. Majority isn't afraid of investing and if you don't hold any bitcoin now, decide for yourself. |

Your friends did the right thing. It is much better to convert to bitcoin and leave the alt market for the meanwhile if you are no longer satisfied and cant wait for its season.
As for Eth, I'm bullish with it and I wouldn't rush to see it increase rapidly. Just look to it,eth is also pumping.

You are not screwed unless you bought under your sold price. You will be screwed if you bought high and sold at low price regardless you can still recover no matter how much the price is today.
It has never been too late for everyone to start buying before the price goes higher than you had bought it. The bull run has just triggered and ride it before you get another regret.

agree, if there is a feeling of unsure, it will usually cause panic. this is what will make a failure in trading, because there will be concern when you see the price drops. It happened many times not just to me but for other crypto investors too. If there's uncertainty with what you are trying to do and to invest, you will have that emotional problem and impact that will affect your investments on crypto. You are likely to sell at loss and buy at highs. Before investing, do research and make sure that you will not have that emotional attach to your money and to prevent such emotions you need to invest with the money you afford to lose. |

I want to see bitcoin hit $100k early by 2020 or after the halving but I don't want to expect with a high price for a very short time. and my hope is that the price of bitcoin in 2020 can reach a very high value, and if the price forecast for bitcoin is very difficult to be accurate because the price always increases and decreases Speculations plays a role in this market, bitcoin is speculative so those forecast might happen or it won't. Don't be too dependent to them, as long as you have a long term plan you should be good but think at what price you will start to sell. Those speculations can be accurate but most of them are not. Bitcoin leads the market so it's essential to see that the altcoins are following the steps of it. But there are times that alts just won't follow bitcoin, normally there is logical pattern for both but sometimes an alternate pattern for both. I think the growth of altcoins we will see a bit later when Bitcoin recovers a little and starts before the correction, then the growth of altcoins should begin.
Alt season haven't started yet so for alt lovers, patience is what we needed. |

I've seen that Dogecoin pumped up to 80 sats so if you think that it will be back at that price, you should buy Dogecoin. But for me, Dogecoin is a good alternative if you are transferring money to other people.

it's true that I even sold it on 82 sat, the coin doge has a good alternative because of the low cost of shipping to a different address, especially from the market to other markets, the price of gas is very cheap.
