Why not make a ethereum 'just-simple-plugin-device' like for i.e. a ready-to-go 'cheap' raspberry pi 'en mass', and sell it to the public ?  

Raspberry pi 4 is out , so, more 'opportunity' for staking an ethereum node .

It's too early to talk about $2k, I'm going to go to $1k in a few months, because not always will prices continue to rise, there will always be a correction in the middle of the trip.

Yes, it is impossible for any coin to increase it's price continuously and at one stage the price of ETH will surely cross the value of $1k but we don't know exactly and how long it is going to take for the ETH to reach that value. Now Dominance of Bitcoin is complete high which it will take some time to recover the prices.

That's right Ethereum is not going up constantly but where ethereum up %20 so after pump eth goes down %5 so eth can surely reach ATH as we are seeing current situation of market. Nobody knows that when eth will cross $1k or ATH as you said above, obviously it will take enough time to reach that level again.

BTC ratio is still super low, I remember this time last year or a month before ethereum was 800 dollars, really just waiting for the next eth pump as bitcoin price starts to fall.

It's too early to talk about $1k too. I don't think Ether can hit $1k in few months or even this year. Why? because Ether price is rising with bitcoin currently. Bitcoin rise, Ether rises too. The season of altcoins has yet to come and it may take some time.

when the btc pot fills up dumps starts and eth goes up with alts and the season begins.... so better stay with alts dont cashout and move ur assets because you never know when the new alt season starts  
this alt season its gonna be amazing... cuz lot of developments coming for alts  
guys dont jump into btc right now you might never know we  ould just have 20k or 18k as the new ath and alts season would start with 10 - 20-50% spike in a day and that would make u regret for not being in..

$1000+ within a few months seems highly unlikely

Within a few months, it meant that it could be between 3 and 5 months later the price could rise to $1k. But again, the key to increasing ethereum is bitcoin.

Yes, the price of bitcoin is kept increasing and this makes the price of ETH is increasing. We see any prediction whether it will reach the $1k mark because last year the price of Bitcoin was above $19k which ETH has a tendency to cross more than $1k but now ETH is at 330$ but already crossed the value of $12k. Let's hope best for the ETH to increase its price.

You dream too much about it, how much ETH do you have, why only go to $ 500 and why not for $ 1000 this year, the main factor for the increase in ETH prices is following the price of Bitcoin because the ETH block reward will harm miners, of course if there is an increase in prices it will benefit them, only my opinion

A Raspberry Pi is a perfect fit for running a node, since it can be left running all the time. Sure, you could run a node on your computer but there is a dedicated computing and storage cost. Instead of leaving my laptop running all the time, I’d rather have my node on dedicated hardware.

Years back when BTC tried to jump $14,000 at that time ethereum price was at above $450, I believe.
So ethereum price is not so high compare to current price of Bitcoin as mate said above but we can expect ethereum will also go higher next month.

Could be that the expected ETH/BTC ratio based on last year is gone forever, but even if so I'm still pretty bullish on ETH. Maybe it reset to a lower ratio but it still seems to track BTC movement pretty well. I've noticed some other alts are not, like LTC.

I intend to hold if it hits $500. I would be looking at $750 before I consider trading/selling. I only have a small amount of ETH so the impact either way will not be too much for me.

Mine isn't too big as well but I'm aiming for same price or higher but still it would be a nice profit if ever ETH goes on rage up to those prices.
