Why was bitcoin invented in the first place? I would say for a decentralized system. If I’m right then the aim has been achieved and we are not in any risk of loosing that or getting it changed. If I were him, I would be on my lazy chair enjoying every bit of life the way I could rather than destroying a great invention like bitcoin.

I think that Polkadot worthy competitor for Ethereum! They have a good development team, a similar algorithm for the network... Buterin used to talk about them a lot... Polkadot is a very solid project, which might be undervalued right now if you ask me. I've been trading it and also considering to go long term on it. I tried doing an arbitrage hours ago with DOT from binance to Kucoin but withdrawal was disabled on Binance, I think they already spotted the price gap between the two exchanges. I'll still check DOT chart to take position later on. I doubt if there is any altcoin out there which is Ethereum's big contender, so many have been hyped to beat ETH, but fade after the hype.

would not think that it will be year of Litecoin, maybe the year of next halving 2023 is better choice for a year of Litecoin, this coin is slowly sliding down from top 10 coins, and i expect that in 2021 that circle will close out and LTC will be out of top 10

Unfortunately I do not think this is possible, for the most part people do not really like their jobs and some of them even hate them but they keep going on because they need the money, as such for the most part people have two different dreams, the first one is that they dream of getting their dream job, they dream of doing something that doesn't feel like a job but still getting paid as if you are in one, and the second dream is to get a source of income that is passive and they never have to work again, in my mind both are valid but both are incredibly difficult to pull off successfully. agree on both, and would like to point out that to obtain passive income is not easy, and this with crypto seems easy, since they are giving good interest rates on your capital, on the other hand, banks have similar strategies, they are providing more interest where the risk is bigger, so one can conclude that stacking crypto should be seen as risky business, and we do not know how all this will end up, on which side, positive or negative one should estimate the risk before stacking any coin, known tokens are always better option, IMHO, but this should not be taken as financial advise |

What is Swipe (SXP)?
Swipe is a debit card and wallet platform that gives users access to spend various cryptocurrencies in fiat currencies on-demand.
Not too long ago Exchange giant Binance has acquired this crypto wallet which supposedly will be a serious contender of Crypto.com Coin (CRO).
Starting 2020/08/17 00:00 UTC, Binance will begin taking live snapshots of user BNB balances to calculate each users’ weekly average BNB holding amount held on Binance.com. and airdrop SXP accordingly.
So far so good…
However, the SXP that airdropped to BNB holders will be taken from the existing circulating supply and bought from the market, thus this program will not increase any circulating supplies.
Not too long before the airdrop was announced by Binance the price of SXP passed over 4 dollars, but after the price started a steep decline, with currently hovering between 2.5 to 3 dollars.
Here it is…I am just going to say it…
I thing Binance is pressing down the price of SXP so that it does not have to pay the full price of SXP as it is giving it for “free” anyway, and will continue to do so for 12 weeks starting from 2020/08/17 00:00 UTC, until the 14th week (according to my calendar calculations the last snapshot date or end of the airdrop is on 22nd of November.

This is not clear to me what do you mean by more valuable. If it considered as marketcap then we can mention the crypto as more valuable than gold. Both has demand on their on field. If we considered crypto as legalized then the demand and price will be more than now. So it can be said that it has a good potential. it can be, but it is not at the moment, but there is also one point that one should bear in mind gold is a store-of-value, and some crypto is also trying to play the store-of-money role, most notably BTC, so it make sense to compare market capitalization of BTC and gold, or all store-of-value crypto currencies and BTC, but does not make sense to compare crypto market capitalization with gold, since some crypto currencies are utility tokens, or have other purpose than store-of-value |

i do not think that it is possible for DeFi to replace traditional banking, it will certainly be there for P2P lending and borrowing, but it is a huge industry to be substituted with self-governed DeFi project, maybe banks will include some variant of DeFi infrastructure for people to lend their money from their accounts through bank infrastructure, but to let the whole industry go, i do not believe in that scenario

Polkadots has been amazing lately, I think many are investing in this project now, Dot is really getting a lot of attention now. I cannot really say where this is leafing us to, it might end up been a possible contender with ethereum like OP said, only time will tell.
Yeah Ive noticed the hype on this project almost all of the projects related to their network are starting to pump and gain massively. I just wished I had some of those tokens too. If the polkadot network starting to run their own soon probably this will be the greatest contender on the ethereum network. i do not understand what you think, DOT is a native token of Polkadot network? what do you think by, if polkadot network start to run their own, they have a project and a token, and it is a platform for other projects |

The Polkadot ecosystem is getting bigger and bigger by day and it seems that creating a DeFi project on it is the new way to basically ensure your funding. Anonymous team, no working product, sub-par whitepaper? No worries, its build on Polkadot, lets go "all in"!  this seems to be an issue on both, Uniswap and Polkadot, but also on other hyped projects, DeFi is the new name for perspective projects, and you just add it to your project, even if you are building a bakery, and people will invest, it was the same .dot bubble in nineties, but this is a new generation of people, that have to learn by-themselves, they do not want to listen to others |
