5841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French National TV Starts Advertising Bitcoin on: December 01, 2019, 01:49:07 PM
if the ad was only targeted and aired during French people's bedtime, I think it would be useless, but if it was aired on French casual hours it would certainly produce a good response to bitcoin, so depending on the target and when the ad's hour aired, I was very support ads like this on national tv

Who told you that this ad was aired in odds hours in french TV ? I did not hear any such news anywhere. Do you have any evidence ?

Regardless of when it is on air, the ads are repeated many number of times and they will reach mass audience if they are on air on a national TV channel, so another good step by the french's media.
5842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: December 01, 2019, 01:27:17 PM
Governments are a real threat to cryptos, but I don't think that a ban would happen. Some countries have declared cryptos as a national threat while others have embraced it. Japan for instance and Germany have already recognised bitcoin as a currency, so they will not probably turn against cryptos in the near future. The US and China, on the other hand, are a powder barrel waiting to explode, as the moment cryptos threaten national sovereignty there will be measures put in place, and this could be devastating to cryptos.

Government have limited control to ban the bitcoins. Infact they cannot ban it but only make it difficult for the people who want to access it. In few countries, the government have already declared illegal to deal in bitcoins and they put people in front of court of law if they found anyone using crypto. This is the maximum the government can do. People can still use crypto currencies without the government being aware of it.

China, bitcoin up
China, bitcoin down
China, bitcoin up
China bitcoin up
China bitcoin down
China bitcoin down
China bitcoin down
China bitcoin rockets

Why do we have to care about China-related news?  Huh

The total number of nodes in China is 309 which accounts for 3.4% of global nodes; and is about 11.4% of total nodes in the USA.

Well, there is a misconception here that china is the hub of bitcoin which is actually not. Although there are some huge bitcoin mining farms in china but that does not make that country stand out among the others. Due to this , many fudsters try to create a news involving china to have a big impact on the bitcoin holders.
5844  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 30, 2019, 06:48:38 PM
I've never liked the idea of having to put my face out there when winning a lottery, its like an invitation for every scammer and dishonest person to target you for your newly acquired riches.

Nicely put. That's why we never see the winners here. I would expect patatas to come up with this simple logic himself. Disappointed a bit tbh. If you wouldn't do it yourself, you just can't expect somebody else to come here and scream, "I WON THE LAMBOOO"

That is one reason why we see a lot of posts where the gambler tell their losses through gambling and very few stories of becoming rich with bitcoin because when one loses, he screams and tell his bad experience but on winning, most of the gamblers remain silent and do not disclose.
If i ever won a Lamborghini Huracan from freebitco, i will also do not tell to anyone because it is like inviting unwanted trouble.
5845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: November 30, 2019, 09:18:49 AM
People who are addicted to gambling think less of their priorities. They always satisfy their urge to gamble even if they run out of money for food, family, their daily expenses and sometimes they even borrow money just to satisfy their craving.

So if they give priority to gamble over their families then what will be the future of such persons ? Ofcourse their wife will leave them and the future of these children will be dull. I feel bad about the people, who suffer because of one man selfishness wish to keep on playing gambling even if he is losing most of the time.

~snip~
If you think gambling is too much bad then you should first quit gambling and the gambling signatures before giving advice to others.

For me It wasn't an advice. The title suggest a sarcastic approach to the people who misunderstood how gambling works, which I think is a good way to deliver and catch their attention and let these people have their second thought, since formal advices doesn't work in reality. Specifically to the people who really believes in beating the RNG games.

Even by using the sarcastic approach, you will not be able to change the gamblers habit. People like me and many others will just treat it as a joke and continue the gambling with all the risk and cons. Beating the RNG games or beating the house, this is almost impossible and gambler will still contiune even knowing this fact.
5847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why Bitcoin can only go down on: November 29, 2019, 03:13:30 PM
Imagine that Motorola - the first company which manufactured a truly wireless communication device in 1983, designed its production system so that it can produce only 10,000 mobile phones a year. Now, does that mean these phones would have been more scarce every single day because the population is almost required to increase its demand? And would that mean the price of Motorola phones will rise to $1,000,000? No. Why? Because people will simply associate and produce their own wireless communication devices, as these devices are just chips, resistors, transistors, capacitors, inductors, and diodes joined together the right way. And it s not only Motorola that is capable to put electronic components together.

In the same sense, bitcoin is just numbers associated to addresses. These numbers are transferred through the network from one address to another via some protocol. And it is not only Satoshi Nakamoto who is capable to design such paying system. This system is not Michelangelo's Pietà or Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. It is just numbers, addresses, database, and protocols. Everybody is capable to create that. So, no rational reason exists for bitcoin to cost 1,000,000 dollars. There is no reason for people to enter into fast, transparent and cheap payment system for $1,000,000, or even $10, if they can enter it for $0.001(altcoins) or if they can associate and design their own crypto payment system.

Bitcoin is simply a mega-bubble that diminished people's ability to think rationally. Bitcoin can only go down to the price of an average coin. Just like Motorola's phones have prices of average phones.

Edit:

I see a lot of responders saying I cannot compare Motorola as a company with Bitcoin. Well, I am not comparing the two. I am comparing limited supply of phones and coins by using an argument from analogy. This argument does not assert that the two things are identical, only that they are similar. The structure or form of this argument may be generalized like so:

P and Q are similar in respect to property x.
P has been observed to have further property y.
Therefore, Q has property y also.

In my example I assumed limited supply of Motorola cellular phones. Meaning, Motorola phones(P) and Bitcoin(Q) are similar in respect to limited supply(x). Then I made the second premise: limited supply of Motorola phones wouldn't lead to drastic price growth because people would simply produce their own cellular phones - they would simply produce their own wireless communication devices(y). And then the conclusion followed: limited supply of Bitcoin won't lead to drastic price growth because people will simply produce their own coins - they will simply design their own crypto payment systems (y).

And this is exactly what is happening with the inflation of altcoins - people are designing their own crypto payment systems. Simply, there is no rational reason for people to enter into fast, transparent and cheap payment system(Bitcoin) for $7K, or even for $10, if they can enter such system for $0.001(altcoins) or if they can design their own systems.

That is also the reason why Bitcoin is a mega-bubble and can only go down to the price of an average coin, and not up to the moon.

I am very positive about Bitcoin but your post made me think deeply about it. It is true that Bitcoin payment system is not something which cannot be developed by anyone else and current value of $8000 is more than high for a single coin of a payment system, On the other side I believe value of anything depends upon market sentiments, If demand increases, its value increase and same has happened to Bitcoin as well in late 2017. Let see what has been cooked for us in future.

Bitcoin current price is not 8000$ and in 2017, it was more manipulation than the demand which actually increased the bitcoin price.
But still i am very much confident that bitcoin price will grow steadily and will reach its high again.
I simply do not like the example of the phone comparison with bitcoins and i am very much optimistic about the bitcoin.
5848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Shopping Mall in USA Goes All in BTC ATMs for Holiday on: November 28, 2019, 06:27:29 PM
Such ATM should stand in any large mall, all over the country.

It can be only possible where the bitcoin is legal. You cannot expect to have bitcoin ATM in the countries where bitcoin is illegal.
Secondly, once the big malls have such facility, then eventually it will be adopted and we will see these ATM everywhere just like we see the banks ATM all over the world.
5849  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cypto-Forum.net - Get Paid Cryptos for Post! on: November 24, 2019, 05:53:19 PM
They still haven't paid for a contest won on tuesday , so now I'm having doubts if they're actually paying for anything.

We always pay our giveaways, there is not a single one who didnt got paid. Sometimes it needs a few days but that shouldnt be a issue. Patience is.

Yesterday I got a message on twitter from you saying winnings will be sent in the next 24 hours . 24 hours have passed since then and nothing , I'll update my post if I'll receive it , but for now the deadlines stated by you have been long passed.

You should sort out these issues else people will leave your forum. Firstly you are giving very low rate, that's acceptable because its your forum and you can offer whatever you like, but you have to pay people to keep your creditably intact. Such delays and negative voices will harm your reputation.
5850  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Governs are coming for the traders! on: November 24, 2019, 05:05:18 PM
So it means all the governments are, or will do, the crack down for the bitcoin traders. They do not want traders to earn tax free money or they do not want bitcoin to grow and adapted ?
In both cases, they may caught a few traders, but they cannot stop this bitcoin revolution.
5851  Economy / Speculation / Re: trump is the cause of drop prices bitcoin on: November 24, 2019, 04:58:39 PM
since the commentaire of trump on twitter before three month prices already starting falling
but should trump make another twitter about bitcoin but this time positive and give prices bullish trend?
is the governoment playing with prices bitcoin?
does trump and givernements love bitcoin or not?

Trump or the US cannot control the bitcoin prices because bitcoin is not in the control of US. Whenever the bitcoin prices are down we try to find unrealistic reason of the bitcoin dump or low price. Actually it is the demand and supply which actually determine the bitcoin prices or it can be the manipulation by the whales.

WO bro is now moving to B&S as well. Shocked
That's how we roll.
By the way I write it B&H.

You can't make profits from the next day itself since you invested in bitcoin it will take time maybe weeks or even years so be prepared for it to face in meanwhile.
What profit you are talking about? HODL!!!!

Those who held so far made the most of the profit. Imagine someone bought bitcoin at $100 or less and held those coins till now instead of selling them at $105 or even $200.

If you can not afford to hold then you are not a bitcoiner. Yes you will spend if this is really necessary but do not spend them for those shitcoins LOL

Real Bitcoiner will HOLD and will never panic in such situations. There are times when you need to sell because of some emergencies but generally a person who do not have full trust in bitcoins, sell it in bear markets and always complain.

5855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Commitment is part of the solution on: November 24, 2019, 01:38:39 PM
No offense but isn't it the same that you have done that you were suggesting not to do? Have you done a search to find that tells the same you wanted to tell? This board is filled with such conversation and if I was in my laptop then I could bring you lots of example posts.

Yes we have users who are sometimes over doing things to get attentions (sometimes it turns out funny) and stuffs but again we have users in the community who are doing silently that they were suppose to do.
If someone's work is rewardable (merit in this case ) then they will have it eventually.

Even if people are over reacting to get attention it is not bad as long as they are following the forum rules and not annoying anyone. Being funny is good most of the time as long as they do not hurt anyone feelings. As long as you are not solely running after the money and merits, you will be useful for the community.

5857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: November 24, 2019, 12:59:15 PM
I am a sort of person who stick with few gambling sites and do not experiment much. I sometimes do check any new site which has a lot of hype or bonus attraction sort of thing, but that is just temporary. I stick to only those site where i am playing for years and ofcourse they are KYC free, good support and fair games.
5858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 23, 2019, 10:40:17 AM

How can you control your mindset while gambling, this is really not easy I must say you are drawn to playing it over and over again it doesn't matter if you are winning or losing

i totally agreed on this because it took me years and years before successfully managed to control my desire to continue gambling.

actually its not that simple because there's a need to become addiction first before finally reached the goal.but worth it because at least there is no need to committing suicide just to stop the addiction.

this is a great thread for other gamblers out there that struggling to defeat the lust of gambling each time.if they will only evaluate the meaning of your post.

No gambler is born to follow these rules from the day first. As it is always that case that Man learn with experience. When you gamble fearlessly and lose, only then we realize what mistake we did. I also learnt from my mistakes in gambling and now i am able to control myself but sometimes i also do mistakes even i have played gambling a lot. Its an always learning experience.

i can say its my best time online which i spent on this forum. I can remember all those years with lot of mixed memories.
5860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 22, 2019, 08:04:54 AM
The 30th South East Asian Games will be held here in the Philippines from November 22 to December 11. There will be 11 Countries that participate in this biennial Olympics. Here are the countries that will participate.

Brunei
Cambodia
Indonesia
Laos
Malaysia
Myanmar
Philippines
Singapore
Thailand
East Timor
Vietnam

Who do you think will bring home the most number of Medals this time?
Is there a sports betting site that will cover this?

If we see the history, the Philippines ranked at No. 1 position last time in 2005 when South East Asian Games were held in Manila, Philippines. After that the thailand dominated and got most medals 4 times.  Last time in 2017, there were held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the Malaysians got the highest medals. Keeping in view this history, i am sure Philippines will top again in the medals race.

This is an interesting stats and i wonder how the hosts of the competition gives an added advantage to the home teams. Also not to forget that Philippines have only topped once in the history of South East Asian Games.
