That means you are convinced with the evidence they provided and you are going to withdraw you stance, it was expected as some people need extra ordinary evidence to get convinced that they really got caught and hope you are happy with the evidence they collected against you . The site is one of the longest running site and if not for their support system to identify scam they will not survive this long.

I’m surprised that team Freebitco took time out and send him the proof, which according to me is a great gesture on their part as no one here would expect them to give proof once they label someone as a scammer. However what bothers me is won’t the user understand how he got caught, and then again try to cheat the system I hope the team thought of this before giving him the necessary proofs.

TheQuin answers everybody's questions as far as I see. Never saw him dodging a question. He explained it at least 10 times to a guy why he was banned but he kept asking the same questions even though he already had the answers. Only then TheQuin gave up and ignored him.

I would compare faucet abusing to stealing tiny samples of food/perfumes/etc that were intended to be given to thousands of people for free, in order to repack them in larger packages, and sell for money. Anyone planning to do such a thing should ask himself whether to be such a miserable person is what he wants from life?

This is an interesting analogy however its not really accurate. Say you go to McDonalds and take a bunch of those sugar packs, they got like 5 grams of sugar in them each, you would need to take about 200 of them just to re-sell a 1KG of sugar that in retail costs less than $1. Hence the reason why nobody steals sugar packets or ketchup packets.

Gambling faucets are completely different. If the faucet is 10 Satoshis, you need to gamble it to and lose it to get the next 10 Satoshi's. And with 10 Satoshi's the only thing worth doing is going 9999x and hoping to turn it into a winner which should happen under 10000 rolls. However this is very easy to do if you just use a bot. It actually doesn't take much time.

The prize was awarded, the user simply never showed up to say anything here, but big surprise, because not even the big lottery winners ever check in here to say hey I won something.

The title doesn't need to be changed. The offer was renewed and a second Lambo is now on offer.

I am not defending FBC, I am simply saying you shouldn't come in and say scam if you say you're not keeping up with the latest.

Thats the story for the modern age basically.   The old salami fraud story has gone viral in the modern age as we all have the power to command and be commanded by the power of mass data processing.   This urban myth (imo a real phenomena) was most famously in the original Superman movies which I loved as a kid as they had a super computer genius in there and this is how he got rich; I'll see if I can find a clip for the young'uns :p

We cannot say with confidence that Lamborghini was not given to anyone. The winner was announced and there maybe chance that he is not active on bitcointalk and therefore he did not post anything here. Also i think he had an option to get the BTC instead of the car. If i had won that car, i would have taken the equivalent BTC.

I would most likely do the same, and although there is a way of reporting anonymously, the winner can be afraid of being tracked anyway, and rightly so, so, unfortunately, the report from the winner will hardly appear in this thread. However, some details would be nice to hear form TheQuin. The details such as:

Whether they chose Lambo or BTC?

How long it took for them to claim the prize? (and, maybe, the reason for the delay)

Did they receive the prize already?

What country are they from?(if it was revealed)  etc.

Idk, for me personally, any details in this regard are interesting. And if it wasn't TheQuin, whom I trust, I wouldn't bother asking. But we all know that TheQuin will not just make up a story to get rid of us. He will either tell the truth or nothing. And that's why it's interesting.

I guess who do you think really goes "oh yeah right, I did tried to scam you" ? I mean no one actually does that. It is two options for a real scammer when they get caught, either they go "I didn't do anything!" or they just go silent, if they go silent that is better because they know what they did and they know it is wrong but they tried their chances and they got caught so nothing they could do.

When they go against the catching of their crime and try to find a way to find their innocence is the moment I get tired and want to just punch them in the face. You committed a crime, it is illegal, you got banned, MOVE ON. Weird how some people would want to hurt others just to improve themselves instead of using the same energy to somehow improve all of us together.

The title is not misleading because now is running the 2nd round of the lambo lottery. Looking at the lottery history of the 1st round, the winner listed to win more than 21btc so we can assume that the winner decided to choose btc in equivalent of the limbo. Obviously it is the best choice for the winner imho since he wont need to pay huge tax to receive the limbo. It is so surprising to see that the winner of the 1st round had 185 tickets only  worth 0.04625btc. What a lucky user he is although I'm not really sure whether he got the tickets by bought it or by played on the hilo game but still a big +EV for the winner.

It is a provably fair draw. How is a testimony more convincing than that?
