5841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 11, 2020, 04:35:26 AM
I like to know your opinion about the question because I believe every gambler has a different way of managing himself.

My answer to the question is I can easily stop when I am winning because I am afraid I might end up with nothing since I know to myself that I am not yet consistent enough to win in gambling, however, based on my experience, I can't easily stop when I am losing despite the fact that I already set up a limit to gamble in a certain day or a certain session.

Do we have the same attitude or not?

I prefer stop when you are losing, this is hard to accomplish because gambler tends to believe that the next roll will be the next roll that they are waiting so they keep adding and deposit more funds in the hope that they can recover what they've already lost and win some more which is a dangerous thing to implement.
5842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: February 11, 2020, 04:05:40 AM
This is a very good article dealing with the Frozen drop:

https://medium.com/incas/kick-token-market-manipulation-analysis-c337261a5d92

I am one of the recipients, but despite all the team's claims, I doubt we will be able to cash out these tokens without some sort of a deal with the devil, and even then their value will not be as it is stated in our wallets.

I don't know this token I also got it now it because I received a huge amount and surprised that it has value in the market, but unfortunately, I cannot deposit or send it, I guess this is a marketing strategy for attention and profit and I doubt that we can trade this token, they might ask us to deposit a certain amount or do some task, I don't know what's their next move will be.
5843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 10, 2020, 02:14:07 AM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?

Money cannot stop me from gambling in fact more of it is a temptation to gamble more, relationship and commitment are the two things that can commit you to stop gambling, it will change your priority but you cannot drop gambling right away there is a slow process for this, it's like a habit you can get over it by slowly.
5844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wish for bounty projects that seem impossible on: February 10, 2020, 02:00:47 AM
This is just a wish, I hoped for it and asked around but yet it seem impossible, the best thing in ever wished for on this forum is bounty projects should start paying in bitcoin or stable coins to bounty hunters, doing this will avoid dumping their tokens buh .... I guess its not going to work since most new projects have no money to do so. they are better off paying hunters in their very own token, damn!

That's always been the case, but there is an exception to the rules, there are some bounty that pays with coins that area already in the market, they may not be Bitcoin and Ethereum but their own token that is already in the market, right now Emirex and Blockburn are two of these, but it's about the potential of the project that matters.
5845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: February 04, 2020, 11:20:14 AM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you
In the first place, you should never join a long bounty campaign, if the campaign is paused then you have wasted a lot of time, check the project if it really has potential so you will not be blaming anyone if the project is paused or a failure, join a short campaign with an option that you can keep your stake if you leave the campaign.
5846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 03, 2020, 02:20:37 PM
Lately, I've been gambling a bit too much again and it's impossible to add limits to most crypto gambling websites.
Heck, I've found it to be impossible to just remove your account, without contacting support.

I think it should be mandatory, or at least standard, to include easy ways to prevent members from gambling.
In my country (Belgium), legal gambling websites are required to have player-imposed limits, plus general limits on their websites.
I wish crypto-based gambling websites would do the same.

Anyway, I've just sent an e-mail to the one casino I was still playing on, to close down my account. I hope they'll do that without any issue.
But still, I wish they would just add a function to do it by yourself, or add some self-control functionality.

I.e. let people exclude themselves for X amount of time

You should know that gamblers should play at their own risk, gambling sites are a profit-driven company that, they do not interfere on the motivation of the gambler all they want is for players to play a longer time and adding more funds in their dashboard and chase for their win.
5847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: February 03, 2020, 12:14:47 AM
What is the purpose of making that unification fight ? You don't get any belt. You don't get any rating points. The only thing you can get is an injury. And money...

Unification bout is very important to see who among the champions really deserves to be called a real champion on that division, we now have 5 boxing organization and it's good for the boxing world to see unification bout to represent only one weight category, of all the unification what i really want to see is the bout against Wilder and Joshua.

5849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I YOLO'ed into a snap purchase of LTC tonight!!! on: January 29, 2020, 04:46:06 AM
Yesterday LTC was at $53.  I was confident it might drop a bit more, I had the plan in mind to whip out the credit card and make a multi-thousand dollar purchase.

But this evening I checked the price and not only is BTC rising, LTC was back up over $59!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH sssshhhheeeeiiiittttt!!!!

So I kind of went buck wild a little bit.  I had already tested one of my trading accounts last week with a $10 transfer, so I knew the deposit would hit quickly.  I got home from work, whipped out the credit card, logged into my main paypal, and used it to send a purchase of $2000 to my alternate paypal account that I use for the occasional shill bidding deception on ebay or other more private transfers.  From there I did an instant transfer to my bank, then logged to my bank, checked to see it was there, and then logged to my coin trading account (which one is not important), and received $2000 there instantly.  Ah, the wonders of modern communications!

So I quickly snapped up 32.3 LTC for $61.something apiece.

Now LTC price needs to rise a whole hell of a lot so I can make mad profits!

If LTC goes to $62 tomorrow and then drops to $40, I will be unhappy to say the least.

I know, I know, just HODL and it'll rise eventually.  Yes, but sometimes I lack patience, especially when I just threw an additional $2000 of debt on the credit card.

It's too early to get disappointed market is just moving up and Lite+coin is not even started to pump, but I agree with you that you should be buying more Litecoin, I'm also very bullish on Litecoin that this coin will pump 50 times of its current price now, so just be patient and odnot get disappointed, you are in on a great ride this 2020.
5850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ETH-based descentralized casinos on: January 29, 2020, 03:49:13 AM
So what if you don't want to use Eth or have run out of Eth and want to use other coins like Bitcoin, Dogecoin or other coins, I will have to trade my other coins to Ethereum so I can play in the platform, times are changing people wants a casino with multiple coins as an option to deposit.
5851  Economy / Services / Re: I need real telegram users on: January 29, 2020, 03:31:52 AM
Just create an official thread and tell the visitors what they can expect, you don't need numbers you need active members who will participate in the discussion, once I find myself in a telegram channel that I don't remember joining I just report it, I don't want to be added without my consent, and everyone here don't want that either.
5852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 29, 2020, 02:48:31 AM
Are you gambling everyday?
twice a week?
once in a never again?

if you gamble everyday, can you stop whenever you want or are you fully addicted?

would love to hear more on your habits here on the forum.
there were times that I lose control of the hour, sometimes I spend 3 hours to the most when I am winning and it's my lucky day, I usually spend an hour to gamble and minimal funds this is to keep up with my favorite platform and while taking my time in my posts gap, and I can say that I'm not really into gambling only in my spare time.
5853  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Crypto Bull Run is Here! on: January 28, 2020, 01:00:02 PM
Today Bitcoin price growth is incredible! It seems the bull run already started from the first month of 2020! Bitcoin price is 9K USD again, Chinese Lunar year is not affecting the crypto market anymore. The way Bitcoin price growing, it can hit 10K USD even before February! I strongly believe this is the Bull run and Bitcoin price will go to 15K USD before the halving! What is your opinion guys, share here!

I second your opinion, and I'm glad that we are now in this position this early, if things will run well we can have $15,000 before the halving, but I will not discount the possibility that the price will dip but not in the $7000 anymore, we should be moving forward after the halving, we expect more good news now that Japan is planning to launch their own Cryptocurrency.
5854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running an online Bitcoin gambling website on: January 28, 2020, 11:55:46 AM
If you do not want to run into a problem along the way, you should get a license, it's for your peace of mind whether there is a possibility that you can run one without it, it's still better to have one than none because it will favor you because you will have a peace of mind and your clients will have too, because you are doing things according to the law.
5855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Is More Profitable? YOBIT Project Or ICO Project? on: January 27, 2020, 10:39:48 PM
Am I the only one who feels that most forum users, especially high-ranking members, prefer to join the YOBIT prize? If so, can you give that reason?
(For me it's sad, because there are no slots for JR members)

I observe that only a few users join the ICO project, including me?
Do you think that the ICO project is bad? not profitable anymore? or maybe because of something else?

Based on the announcement of Yobit representative here, they are closing the campaign this 27th of the month, it really is a great and profitable campaign but now that it is ended, it's hard to find a high paying campaign because the competition is very stiff, and it's hard to find ICO that is legit and with good potential.
5856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK gamblers cannot use Credit Cards for gambling from April 14, 2020 on: January 27, 2020, 02:20:24 PM
There’s a new regulation for gamblers who reside in UK i.e. from April 14th, 2020 you’ll can’t use your credit cards for online gambling. Now on paper this rule does seem harsh, but when I read their reasoning behind this decision I felt they have taken the right approach and it’ll help UK’s citizens. The key reason why I’m saying that this decision is correct because this move shall force people to gamble only with the money they have, but I’m sure many will not like this decision hence you’ll can post below and tell the community why you didn’t like this decision.

Source:

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-51103006

The government has a need to impose this,m so many people cannot control gambling using their credit card, and this will leads to credit default and problem and will result in frustration to the person, but these people can still find a way because we all know they can use their credit to nuy Cryptocurrency and use Cryptocurrency to gamble.
5857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie and Bounty campaign. on: January 27, 2020, 11:23:08 AM
Hi guys!
I'm a newbie in bounty campaign program, recently the two bounty campaign (1strade and Blobflow) I started with ends up not succeeding as the teams in charge says they can't continue with the program, So sad (for starting) though because I decided to do the campaign after reading their white paper and a little background check.
So my question is what are those things to be considered aside project white paper before taking up bounty Campaign.
Thanks. Cheers

Right now there's hardly a decent project, that's likely to succeed, I have participated on so many bounty campaigns that I thought will succeed only to find out that they are not getting enough support from investors, and even they get funded you will have to wait for months to get the token in the market and the worst the price is not what you expected.
5858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Garcia vs Redkach on: January 27, 2020, 08:01:05 AM
is this the Garcia that Manny Pacquiao Beat years ago?well he made a good fight back then and now he will facing this REd HEaded boxer, wait let me check his stats.

it is Garcia is in advantage on this bout because Redkach seems to be behind his record but also a knock out puncher.

maybe i will go for Garcia for this, does the Odds already released?can someone share how much is the Odds?

You need to double-check or do research because Danny Garcia has never met Pacquiao, and the fight already happen Garcia already won by a unanimous decision over Redkach kinda loop sided match the video of the fight was even posted on one of the post, posters like you misled people and you should read the whole content from the thread,
5859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Air, Water, Bitcoin on: January 27, 2020, 07:16:11 AM
Without air and water life no worka.

P2P commerce is also essential.

Past human history is checkered with currency manipulation and conflict..

Enter a new element for humanity; trustless p2p currency, globally decentralized...

Something humanity has been craving since the dawn of human history.

 Cool

Cryptocurrency is still subject for manipulation, so even if this is something that we crave for, we need to support this technology, even if this is manipulated, everything here in this life is subject and can be manipulated, it's some manipulation are evident or obvious and some others are not, but this is the technology that we need to support it's something new and something we need in this present generation and the generation to come.
5860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank, Necessary? on: January 26, 2020, 04:58:27 PM
There are who voted for the need when in fact we are our own wallet and Bitcoin was created to go against the policy of the bank we don't need Bitcoin bank, because we can take care of ourselves when securing our coins, we just need to educate yourselves on how to do it and if there's a bank who will run and where it will comply, will it acts like an exchange with KYC, which is a big no-no to majority of us here.
