5842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value starts with people's attention? or with its technology? on: January 23, 2020, 03:02:52 PM

Is Bitcoin really a such innovative thing that can change people's lives significantly in the future?

I think we still live fine without having Bitcoin being actively used in our real lives.

Oh well... In terms of transparency, i can take on Bitcoin's technology.

But which one is it that raised its value so much though?

Technology or People's attention?

People's attention is easily gone when they find something interesting that do now if Bitcoin does not have value at all, people will not become interested in this technology, when I first discover Bitcoin I become interested in its uniqueness, it's something that has never been done before and people knew that they have to be part of this technology.
5843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $400,000 After Halving, History Dictates on: January 23, 2020, 02:08:32 PM
Much of the conversation around predicting the price of Bitcoin through 2020 and beyond hinges on the effect of the Bitcoin mining reward halving set to take place in May will have. Some believe it will have no effect at all, while others are betting big on this. If history is to be taken into consideration, Bitcoin should reach a new high of $400,000 following the event.

Following the first halving in November 2012, Bitcoin’s price increased from a $2.01 bottom to the top of $270.94 – a 13,000 percent increase. The second halving, in July of 2016, saw Bitcoin go from a bottom of $164.01 a top of $20,074 – a similar increase of 12,000 percent.

To read the full article, go here

Would you actually believe the halving would make this possible? Or is it just another unsure prediction?

Look guys, I am not a fan when it comes to predictions. Of course, the analysts can predict all they want. However, there is no such thing as guarantees that $400,000 would actually be an ideal amount after the halving event in May. Not even an all time high of $20,000 would be possible.

But I could be wrong too. Who knows? We just have to see if $400,000 per BTC would actually happen after the halving. However, it’s not good enough to save John McAfee’s d***!  Grin

I also want to save John's old dick, of course, the halving has done a lot to the price of not only Bitcoin but also of other top coins in the market, Bitcoin success is also the altcoins success, and this next halving is something that we are excited to see the results, let's admit it, the price has gone a long way, and with the new halving could be another milestone I hope the historical data will be still kind to us.
5844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 01:54:55 PM
I had a discussion with my parents earlier, saying that they want to start operating our milk tea food cart. We had the cart ready, materials for making the milk tea and so on. Instead of waiting for June or July until the new school building opens, we decided to put our business in a mall rather than the school sooner than later.

My dad was a traditional business style guy. He kept failing because of not being creative and innovative, and sometimes ignoring my suggestions and advice. However, this time, since I am into crypto and blockchain industry, he was thinking about displaying a Bitcoin QR code.

In the city that I lived, there were no businesses yet who accept Bitcoin payments. They do have QR codes, but mostly from a centralized provider and not crypto-related.

I already have my mom's Bitcoin wallet verified, and may need to upgrade it to a Business account as it needs business permit and other requirements necessary. It'll be used for the business anyways.

I think this is going to be a worthwhile experiment, and a great way to start letting people aware about Bitcoin. Maybe I should put some creative promos for those who will buy milk tea using Bitcoin. What do you guys think?

This is a great idea, you will discover in your area how many are Bitcoin holders and they might hang up with one another there, not to mention it's a good way to promote Bitcoin, because milk tea is very popular today, here in our country almost every corner had a milk tea stand or hang out, but not one offers Bitcoin, I wish you the best to your venture.
5845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 23, 2020, 01:20:14 PM
Crypto markets are holding steady for another day following a slight pullback from their recent rally. Ethereum is still looking strong but can it finally pull out of its two-year bear market?

https://bitcoinist.com/is-ethereum-about-to-break-out-of-a-2-year-bear-market/

Not only for Ethereum but mainly Bitcoin and all the other top coins in the market, we have high hopes this year, 2020 this is going to be the best year for us after two years and it's happening right now, we are moving slow but sure, but we will eventually get there, I'm glad that I'm accumulated and still accumulating Ethreum besides Bitcoin.
5846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 23, 2020, 10:24:35 AM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position

There's really nothing to fear about, in fact it's better that we have a purge so that only the best coin in the market will remain, so the developers will not be lazy to update the platform and the community and they are also active in marketing their project, it's good for the community and it's good for the industry, and every investor will not lose his investment.
5847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have anyone come across this? Whether it is a true currency or fake one....? on: January 22, 2020, 10:46:32 PM
Today while making a conversation with my friend I said about bitcoin and its price in terms of USD. This was quite high and no other currency has got such a high value. To me he responded sending an image that I've posted here. He doesn't know which country this currency belongs, but he mentioned whatever the value might be surely it'll be higher than bitcoin. Have any of you knew about such currencies with such a big value.

I have never seen a currency with that kind value and I thought the highest value that was printed was 10 million in the old Japanese era and we called it mickey mouse money and that was during the Japanese occupation of our country, that money is now a collector's item because I read that it does not have value anymore.
5848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough proves HEX IS SCAM ! on: January 22, 2020, 03:15:44 PM
If you want to watch the proves that HEX is a scam, watch this video : https://3speak.online/watch?v=clixmoney/ubaoydbl
I think Richard Heart owns this project, he lost his reputation because of this, in his debate with Tone Vays he is so good at defending his project, so many favors him, but unfortunately many people see his project as a scam project, because people are more matured now, even if you are an experts and with names in the industry, people will not just believe them.
5849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me? on: January 22, 2020, 12:06:25 PM
January 2019 we have more bounties at that time but this year January seem to be different, very few bounty projects shows up, I'm not saying scam projects aren't around but this forum seem relieved from many junky projects like that of 2019, maybe scammers are tired of not getting answers in return? Maybe people are now smarter and scammers are starving? I so wish so 🙏 lol what about you?
I believe it is so, they are now targetting newbies on the giveaways, but now that giveaways are exposed, they will try to find a way to scam people, but I'm sure they will still create scam projects for ICO, because of the newbies coming in, so it's better for newbies to do diligent research, or better do not invest at all because of the current situation.
5850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 22, 2020, 10:08:22 AM
Mexico could raffle his presidential plane, the idea is to sell 6M tickets of $25 dollars each one, and the winner gets a presidential plane evaluated in $130 million.

This crazy idea is because the Mexican president wan to sell the plane to spend the money on other projects.

What do you think would you buy a ticket?

Why not I love lottery but they should have a free park on a hangar, I'm planning to sell this if I win as I cannot maintain it I don't want to spend on its parking and I don't know how to fly this too, I'm pretty sure many will take this opportunity, they will be helping their government for their projects if they bought a ticket.
5851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other than bitcoin is it worth to invest in Ripple? on: January 22, 2020, 03:28:39 AM
FXStreet & Express.co.uk Ripple Price Prediction These websites give a moderate prediction saying that XRP has potential and may reach $3-$5 by the end of 2020. This is an assumption based on the fact that Ripple is best Investment opportunity of 2020.

https://coinpedia.org/information/xrp-ripple-price-prediction-2019/

Let me know your point of view on this?

I'm not a big fan of Ripple but all indication and their current standing points that it is worth investing in Ripple, they are not in the third position for nothing and although there's one exchange that delisted it, I don't think it will have an impact at all, they are still good but once Facebook coin launch they will have a direct competitor.
5852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating shit TOKEN make good profit ? on: January 21, 2020, 10:40:23 PM
Hi guys
do u think if i created a shit token (with no project) and add it to shit exchange can i get profit ?  Grin
i mean im preparing to create a token and add it to new exchanges with law fees
and i promote investors for ex to give them 50 per cent of any ammount they bought
from the token for ex if you bought 10000 coins i will give u 5000 coins for free
do u think this idea can make investors buy it ?

Investors are wiser now, they know what a good project looks like, it's a waste of time now to create a project like that because no one will invest in this trash project and also there is karma, just think of investor's hard-earned money if you are going to feed your family from money you got from scamming others.
5853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some exchanges charges are too high on: January 21, 2020, 03:58:21 PM
How many exchanges you know of that have too high withdrawal fee? I was shocked that Dcoin exchange wants 0.001 for any bitcoin withdrawal you want to make while other exchanges charges only 5000 Satoshi for bitcoin withdrawal, I was forces to exchange my bitcoin for litecoin before getting my coins out

They are making profit from trading and withdrawal, I have the same experience with my earnings on Yobit I have to trade it to XRP or Litecoin and I'm lucky that my local exchange, accepts Litecoin to trade into fiat, but if you have the choice pick exchanges that offer the lower withdrawal fee, or if you cannot avoid to trade there you really have no chance but tot trade it to other coins.
5854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Claim the #2 Position? on: January 21, 2020, 03:18:30 PM
It won't be easy anymore! XRP got lucky that they took Ethereum's place several times! That time people were losing hope on Ethereum by seeing the huge price collapse! Now, as the Ethereum price moving forward, developments are implementing and 2.0 upgrade is just coming to improve the Ethereum blockchain, so I think there is no possibility for Ripple to overtake Ethereum's place in real soon!

It's not going to happen anymore that they can recover the second spot, it was a short-lived it's like a pump coming from whales of XRP but now that EWthereum are moving with so many updates I don't think they can recover that second spot, they might be in trouble with Bitcoin Cash, they are gaining a lot of support, maybe in two years time, BCH might overtake them.
5855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}: Fake Yusaku Maezawa ETH and BTC Giveaway on: January 21, 2020, 02:55:27 PM
I'm glad that this kind of scam was exposed the earliest, although there are few who got scam but this kind of scheme, which ask you to deposit will not work anymore if the people who are curious about the giveaway will do a research, if he is not going to do a research, then he is likely to get scam.

Right, thanks to the OP for exposing it again.

We have seen those Elon Musk fake giveaways, but this is the first time that these scammers use the Japanese billionaire's name.

And lol, just looked at all the comments in that medium page, 100% part of the scheme. So I do hope that no newbies are going to fall for this kind of trick.

These scammers will use any popular name in Cryptocurrency but common sense tells us that if these are giveaways, we need not send a huge amount to be able to verify our address, even if they are going to ask a KYC I will still not fall to this kind of giveaway, if these popular name in Cryptocurrency will announce a give away they will first announce it in popular news media that covers Cryptocurrency, and they will do an interview.
5856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV Could It Reach All Time Highs? on: January 20, 2020, 04:21:20 PM
Bitcoin SV has been picking up monumental steam over the past month, seemingly relentless on its path to all time new highs. Can it be reached? Will it be reached? Is it just a pump? Only time will tell. As usual any thoughts and comments are more than welcome.

The all time high of BSV was around $250 or so and we almost hit $210 today so most likely we might retest the $250 or at least come close to it.

However you need to becareful with this coin due to its highly news driven speculation. Most people are expecting for Satoshi to reveal itself and replace BTC with BSV, there is a small chance of that happening and yet investors are still buying the coin.

People want to always the early bird and they are in FOMO, in case Craig proves that he is the real Nakamoto, Bitcoin SV will pump real high and it might shoot up to a good position, but I highly doubt if he can prove that, it's very obvious that he can't because of the so many delays that he is trying to do.
5857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV drops 40% as lawyer admits craig wright has no private keys on: January 20, 2020, 03:44:42 PM
Surely prices will continue to fall in the future if he can not prove he is Satoshi Nakamoto, even BSV price can lose 99% of its value and be delist at the exchange. I personally hope this can happen in the future because for me BSV is an altcoin manipulated and it should die, we only have one bitcoin in this market.

I don't have Bitcoin SV and I'm not looking to buy and HODL it, Bitcoin SV has a lot of whales behind it and they will continue to pump it to show resistance, I have this feeling, Bitcoin SV will never give up and fight to keep their volume and their standing, while their developer is fighting to make the world believe that he is Nakamoto, it's going to be hard a battle for him though.
5858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BSV a bubble ? on: January 20, 2020, 01:22:39 PM
BSV recently seen growth of more than 100% in one day
but not have enough liquidity.
many exchanges already delisted long time ago,
Is there any future of BSV?

Bitcoin SV is on the top 5 so definitely whether we like it or not it has a future and a good future for their supporters, but they are involved in a pump and dump like what happening last week and like what's happening just today, all the coins are in red but they are on green with a huge 11% pump, we will see more like this in this coin as they struggle to move up.
5859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: January 20, 2020, 12:52:38 PM
If Khabib loses to Ferguson and he will be the next title holder, will Conor still be interested to fight Khabib?
Or he will be more interested to get his belt back?

He should remember the defeat is very decisive it was one of Connor's fight that he was defeated decisively, he has something to get back into and that is to redeem himself, although I don't believe Ferguson can beat Ferguson, but I really love to see Mcgregor - Khabib to push through it is a fight that will generate greater interest.
5860  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Any chance you do a content for free? on: January 19, 2020, 03:03:36 PM
Depending on project, we can not only make a content for free. We have our own projects tracker, news portal and solid track record of ICOs done. A 2020 is a year of collaborations.  Smiley

I agree that it is still on the project if the project is very good and with potential in the market, some good projects do not have a budget at all for marketing and they just rely on a word of the mouth marketing, and some bloggers are actually doing it now, these are bloggers who are actually investors with large followers and he doesn't want to disappoint his supporters.
