5841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did Trading Bot Help You? on: April 26, 2021, 09:58:35 AM
Somewhat related but not super related and sorry for asking about defi now heh but.

Anybody knows where I can find Defi specific trading bots? That is, a bot that can interact with liquidity pools to get certain prices, but also following gas price recommendations and NOT making the swap if price is not at desired rates?
5842  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆The Maharaja of Bitcointalk🏆 Sports bets Tournament by Sportbet.one on: April 26, 2021, 08:57:07 AM
Glad to hear about that vennali. I did see myself also the sheets were taking so long to get updated it was hard for me to follow the standings, which is part of the reason I stopped posting bets myself. Other than the fact I was for sure going to lose of course;) I wish good luck to all participants and good counting to OP!

Wow totally unexpected,,, late season falling apart for Atletico, last night should have been a winnable game or at least one they should have drawn.

Trofo's right I think they only need a draw with Atletico at that stage to win the title, but I really don't wanna jinx my own team so I'll just keep silent for the next few rounds. Amazing season.

Pmalek nice job on Jackmate, what was your winning selection if you don't mind to share with us;) And yeah, agree, new layout looks a lot better for me.
I really can't remember, it was such a long time ago already. The site doesn't keep records of the team selections, does it?

Unfortunately not, not that I could find any. I also even forget what my selections are usually except I always captain Messi from my own team. Especially if Barca is no longer involved I don't know how to find my memory with any team selections these days;)

Maybe that's a good thing for FJ to integrate? Past records of match selections?
5845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: April 25, 2021, 06:15:18 PM
On April 20, you ask questions about wallets, then completely ridiculous questions about the Binance exchange, and after two days you write about your results.

But don't be surprised by this. Crypto people are a lot like the forex traders you'd find online like 10 years ago. They saw an ad telling them they can make x10 money easily.

They just go online asking random people random questions and have no patience so dive right in.

5846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC on: April 25, 2021, 04:59:18 PM
I've been a fan of ethereum for a while but for now I'm sure BSC will be the future of crypto. Although ethereum is still the first, I feel that ethereum has been stuck for a while, especially with the problem of very expensive gas cost.

I was for a long time NOT a fan of Ethereum, and then finally kind of converted when their developers and future direction convinced me they weren't such assholes after all.

I have also admitted now BSC is maybe going somewhere after all but I don't see myself getting converted by them. They're just too much of a capitalist entity Binance.
5847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 25, 2021, 04:14:06 PM
Sheffield United Vs Brighton
I don't think Sheffield utd will be able to withstand Brighton, because of their poor performance. With their present position, winning Brighton will only change their won matches to 5.

West Ham Vs Chelsea
West Ham need to win this match in order to claim Chelsea's current position. And also getting qualified  for the UEFA Champion League.

Well, And Sheffield United actually won. I always think it's so strange that relegated teams sometimes can find the pressure gone from them finally and then when they play they can return to their roots of playing good football. As Sheffield just proved to us last night, sometimes it's all in the mentality.

Hammers probably not going to get the spot I think when they have lost their last 2 games.
5848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which other company will support Bitcoin next? on: April 25, 2021, 01:57:04 PM
After the Tesla announcement, I was looking forward to Apple Company being the next giant company that will go and uses bitcoin, as the Apply company I just think that bitcoin will fully suit Apple.

I mean Apple is of the top giant companies and seeing this company invest in bitcoin will surely be big news in the cryptocurrency community just like what happened on Tesla.

We can easily see a push in  the  price of  bitcoin  and I think that  could potentially be the reason why bitcoin will reach 100k$ in the market and even more because of this company.

Don't forget though, people in this space. All the Tiktok videos and influencers and gamers and redditors. These are nerds and geeks like us who actually do love Elon Musk and Tesla. They respect him.

I am not sure Apple is as well loved or respected, in fact I see it get a lot of hate.

It'll be a different thing if Apple adopts BTC because Microsoft did it in the past too remember?
5849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell ADA for loss to buy more bitcoin at this dip? on: April 25, 2021, 01:20:26 PM
That's not a big problem that you should be thinking because you can test the market with that amount and see which will benefit you most. It's like an experiment to you that you must do it without any regrets.

I don't know. If I'm mining, then I'd be focused on making more fixes and tweaks and upgrading to my mining and do the best to get the most out of it. I would maybe maximum merge mine to get all other alts and help supplement my income.

Testing waters with trading random altcoins? I think that's a bad recipe to lose money.
5850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 25, 2021, 11:41:10 AM
BNB has done so well, I really wish I’d have bought some when I first heard about the project. To be honest i thought it’d flop, the price has continued to moon. Damn I was dumb not to buy early.

Same here my friend. I really did not foresee how powerful CZ's and Binance's influence is. I even had 1 or 2 BNB but I gave those up just for fees. The way they kept pumping and burning and doing trading competitions to give it out, I just didn't expect it to do so well. Of course, it was BSC that did it all for them.
5851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 25, 2021, 11:04:55 AM
Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona still has the same chance to win this year's competition, With a record they have to win all the remaining match. In the last 6 matches of the Spanish League, Atletico and Barcelona still have good chances, provided that these two teams must be able to collect full points until the last match, if either of these two teams could do it. Real Madrid will automatically not be able to catch up to the points collected by Atletico or Barcelona.

Actually no, not really. Atletico and Barca have the same chance now in that, they both are in complete control of whether or not they win La Liga. The road for them is simple. Win every game left and win La Liga.

The same cannot be said of Real Madrid. Even if they win every game, they may not end up top spot. They need Atletico-Barca to slip up. I'm not sure even a draw for those 2 is enough because Real also just dropped points now.
5852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap Token Price Prediction on: April 25, 2021, 09:46:50 AM
OP, how can you say struggling to rise to the top when it IS the top;) I mean despite all the gas problems Uni still has the most popular use of all these defi programs. Staking, Liquidity Pooling etc.

Uni3 seems to sidestep the gas problem also, of course I doubt it will be much much cheaper as you can't change the underlying cost of transactions but a lot of defi platforms are working hard on L2.
5853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PancakeSwap vs Uniswap on: April 25, 2021, 09:01:15 AM
Not sure why some people saying you can't compare them when you can. Makes more sense to compare even because they're on completely different networks. Although it does make it hard to differentiate what is really a UNI/CAKE feature or which is actually an ETH/BSC feature.
For me, this is only a slight difference between Pancakeswap and Uniswap, both of which have the same features, only different from the ETH and BSC networks, for now I don't know more than Uniswap because the high exchange fees make me no longer do it there but Pancakeswap makes it easier for me in several ways maybe because being on the BSC network and the lower cost has resulted in many people switching to Pancakeswap a lot.
I admit that the current BSC and CAKE prices are still quite stable.

That's what I was getting at. They're basically copies of the exact same product. They do the exact same things, except I would say Pancake has more additional features like a profile and NFT collection.

And of course they are on the different networks. Also now v2 is coming out. But Uni v3 would be even more special I guess (except for fees).
5854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's nice to be back again on Bitcoin @50,000$ on: April 25, 2021, 08:22:39 AM
Good job OP! I am more or less the same as you. I never bought Bitcoin until a couple of years ago and kept on earning Bitcoin from signature campaigns and other very small jobs online. Every time I charged I even gave big discounts just so I could get paid in crypto, even accepting dogecoin a few times:)

Nice to be back indeed but don't think it won't fall back down again;)

Kudos to BSC and CAKE for maintaining price in this crypto dip. Have to admit it!
5856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can doge coin reach 1$ this year? on: April 24, 2021, 04:13:44 PM
I kind of feel bad for you man. Not being able to sell at the right moment. You really should have sold already at that price point considering how useless of a coin doge coin is(sorry to the lovers of this coin that's just what it is. I only bought and sold and was done with it as soon as I got my profits. May consider investing again if I ever find a good reason to. Just sell if you are not in so much of a loss but if you alreayare too deep, just hold and hope that another hype happens. That is, if you don't need the money you invested yet.

No offence taken. I don't LOVE the coin but I'm a big fan and I was just saying since last week that there's going to be a lot of tears replacing the smiles of DOGE holders.

It's a cool coin I still like to use in gambling, it's fun and easy and cheap to tip and exchange and use, totally nothing against it.

But the price recently? That was a pure pump and we all knew it.
5857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 24, 2021, 02:50:00 PM
The scene is much clearer with the remaining 6 rounds at the end of La Liga

Destiny is completely in the hands of the top 2 clubs. But if they draw when they next meet next month, then Real can win it.

All these teams need to do, all of them, is to win every last game still in their way.

I support Barca of course and I love the way they're playing now. It's going to be SO exciting.

Valencia season... no more words for them.
5858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 24, 2021, 02:11:20 PM
1 thing that in my mind is since first is how if binance collapse, i mean we know BNB and BSC now have other function but i think at first it is from Binance Exchange right?  And then an exchange actually we not know when collapse (but i hope it is not) and people lose trust in that 2 coins.

That's the question you should always be asking yourself for any coin and any service you use (and trust). It may all be going well for now, but what if the CEO dies? Or leaves? Or management changes?

What is their reputation nosedives and people start fleeing and withdraw everything?

Will your money be safe? Will they even honor your withdraws?
5859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell ADA for loss to buy more bitcoin at this dip? on: April 24, 2021, 12:41:24 PM
I still find it really weird that people with enough technical knowledge to mine Ethereum still have questions like this. I mean first of all, how you can be buying ADA when you mine ETH, and then buy BTC.

Just keep mining your ETH and hodl. When ETH 2.0 comes and it's full staking you'll really be glad you stashed up on Ether because everyone will be staking it.
5860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which other company will support Bitcoin next? on: April 24, 2021, 12:09:30 PM
People are pouring money like crazy in crypto, as they don't want to miss out the opportunity of a lifetime to make huge streams of profit.

Not sure about pouring money like crazy but I think you're right, people are definitely going big into crypto now bigger than ever before. You see a lot of stories now about 30+ year olds investing in dogecoin, that really makes you wonder what is wrong with this world:) They didn't budge in 2017 when BTC was doing well but this time following Elon Musk? Shows you just what millennials are thinking and how they live:)

Next big company people love? Gaming companies!
