5861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: June 05, 2020, 01:05:39 PM
This is one of the reasons why there are lots of investors who hold at least 1 BTC for each one of them. these guys are planning to hold this 1 BTC for the long term and they have encouraged themselves to not listen to any bad thing about bitcoin. One thing we will need in investing on BTC is to have patience, especially those who are planning to hold their BTC for years. You just need to learn how to wait and you need to understand that often visiting the crypto market to watch the price every day will lead to some kind of light panic and if not halt, you might end up selling your BTC to a lower price.
5862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: June 04, 2020, 03:00:15 PM
I'd love to see Tyson vs Mayweather, even at two different weight classes. I honestly think it would be a competitive fight.

That would be a WWE fight if it ever happened. If they really wanted to make a fight like that, they better go for the Manny Pacquiao Vs May Weather fight. We are talking about two heavyweight legends here, the best fighter at their time and to see that fight again is truly amazing. No one has ever thought that this fight would gonna happen in the future. I hope this fight will bring its purpose in a satisfying result without anyone hurt.
5863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life soundtrack for Gamblers? on: June 04, 2020, 02:12:42 PM

I have not so far concentrated more on music background while I happen to watch casino marketing promotions. None of the people I think are going to be affected if they hear Sting's shape of my heart played, they will begin to choose your casino because its up to the casino's promotional offers, its features and its games.

You are doing video promotion of a casino so put more half naked women there if possible.

When the music played and you have some memories with it, it triggers something like you will reminisce those moments in your life along with that music. like for example when I heard Westlife songs, it brings backs my memories in elementary days. But when we speak about gambling, it doesn't really matter at all because your mind occupied by it, and your ears only wanted to hear the winning sound. that's how deluded a person when playing.
5864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: June 04, 2020, 12:33:07 PM
Fees after halving were ridiculous! I've been so used to send transactions with a 1 sat fee that my transaction got stuck in mempool for 10 days! Sad not to mention having to pay like $3 fee for a $5 transaction. That's why ETH has gained so much momentum lately.

I've sent more than 1000$ for less than 10 cents fee just because I've waited a cool down period. Of course, this is not always possible.
Also the fees are not related to the value you are transacting, so the 5$ and 1000$ figures are useless.

And also Ethereum network is pretty much crowded too lately and I fear that if the trend continues sooner or later you'll face the same issues on ETH.

It's a matter of when the network is crowded and when you pay less fee, your transaction will likely delay for more than an hour or worse in a day. I already experience such as this when I tried to send fewer transaction fees when the network was crowded, it's the time when the BTC price was rising and it feels like everyone us trading BTC. I thought I won't gonna make it that day cause it delayed too long that I expected.
5865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop blaming bounty hunters on: June 04, 2020, 12:04:54 PM
Obviously, bullshit projects often offer large budgets to attract participants and promote their projects. The price of the token will then drop several times or even they will never distribute it

They won't even bother to recover the price back to normal when it dumped by their holders. some legit coins like the top coins in the market are making non-stop development to make their investors stay with their project and to attract some investors to invest in them because they saw the activeness and the updates of that project. especially if they collaborated with some big companies and advertisements on some known sites.
5866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: June 04, 2020, 07:16:09 AM
To be honest I really don't want to leave the comfort of my home even if the government says it is ok to go out. I mean there are many people afraid to go out because of one word - Asymptomatic. Yes that word scares even the most courageous of folks. You will never know what will happen to you if you happen to get the sickness. So no, I will not go back to the casinos even if they say it is safe. Give me the vaccine first and then I'll go.

I cannot risk my life to go out just to look for fun, I'd rather stay inside my house until the government in our country declared the city is now COVID free and we will not be harm by the virus if we go out or if they finally get the working vaccine and medicine to counter the spread of this pandemic. The rest of the city in our country is clean but the people are prevented to go to school to prevent the spread just like what happened in South Korea. I don't really know if we are safe to go out nowadays because even though the cases seem subsided it will increase again if we are not careful.
5867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 04, 2020, 06:50:44 AM
Am I the only one thinking LeBron's gonna come out firing when play resumes? He hasn't really had a considerable break in 17 years, the breaks probably done him the world of good.

I think he gonna play like he never played before in the last 17 years, is that what you meant?

In my opinion, not only him who didn't play this time but all of the NBA players. when they resume the game everyone will gonna play their best game ever to give the fans what their expected to see. I hope everyone will be fine after what happened but we're talking about professional athletes here, I'm sure they're fine more than anybody else.
5868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I believe bitcoin will crush in the distant future on: June 04, 2020, 02:24:03 AM
Bitcoiners keep their coins in a private key. This has a disadvantage. Let's assume that someone with 1000BTC dies. If he hadn't given the wallet to someone then his bitcoins are lost. So in the distant future that lots of bitcoiners will be dead and they won't have given their private keys to others, many bitcoins will be lost. So the available bitcoins will be lower and lower overtime.

Bitcoin is not like a bank meaning that cannot be used as inheritance. So will it live only on our era? Will it be lost in the future?

This has been discussed before and many holders have come up with a new idea on how they will successfully pass their crypto assets to their loved ones. You won't really need to explain them in a complicated way because with the lots of information they can find in the internet, they will not be having a hard time decoding your last will regarding your crypto assets. just provide them with basic information and some dos and don't stuff.
5869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donation vs Bank donations on: June 04, 2020, 01:30:23 AM
Bank donations, I like the idea of, we see how much the other has spent without knowing who they really are just some list of the funds that have collected throughout the campaigns. With this list, I encourage myself to give even more in the future because I see the campaign to help the needy is working as planned. I see some charity foundation has made something like this and they also post their successful event made possible by the collected funds. However, in Bitcoin donation, you won't know who gave that huge amount of money unless they emailed you about it. I also like the Idea of helping without showing off yourself you gave those huge amounts of money.
5870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters aren't responsible for dumps on: June 02, 2020, 04:00:25 PM
The reasons why bounty hunters are the reason why the price of some tokens is dump after its lunch from some exchange is they flocked to sold all of their tokens in a single day. just like what I have seen in my ESH token a few days ago. it reaches its all-time high and after a few days, the price went down to -8.994578292 ESH $ 0.91(-93.74%). the problem with the bounty hunter is, they don't have the same mindset and most of them follow the others when they sold their tokens because they fear that the token I mentioned will probably happen to them. can you imagine the highest token you hold will fall down to -93.74% in a single day?
5871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 02, 2020, 03:30:23 PM

That is the playoffs which is why we love it more.

In playoffs, we will see the top 16 teams doing all they can to reach the top and become champion. You will see what it means by playoff if you see those players running towards the basket in pass break. they really put it all for two sure points and the one that chasing them really runs fast. this is where you will see most injuries happened. Playoffs are really like a game of thrones. if possible, every decision made will be calculated to win one game. We might miss it this year but if they find some way to resume it, then the playoff game this year will worth it.
5872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which fastest LN, LTC, Dash? on: June 02, 2020, 03:09:23 PM

This is surprising to me, I was expecting the Bitcoin Lighting network to win, but unfortunately the Lighting network needs to open a channel and some procedures before the transfer and also not available in all bitcoin wallets so Dash coin won.

What a surprising result but considering the lightning network is still at its ongoing development, this result will be different in the future. I never thought they really do a speed test such this one, although the result is not that surprising, the test was satisfied a lot of questions on which of them have the fastest transaction ever.
5873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is good for environment on: June 02, 2020, 02:03:40 PM
Bitcoin also promotes digital payment that can prevent the spread of the New Corona Virus and other contagious diseases. It may sound unrealistic but if we consider what we currently experiencing today, Bitcoin can be one of the major help along with similar digital payments like PayPal and MasterCard that can prevent the passing of this contagious disease to other people. If we have so many choices of digital payment and many people are using it, that can become one of the reasons to slow the number of people who got infected by the New Corona Virus.
5874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: June 01, 2020, 02:02:44 PM
The biggest lesson I've learnt in spending my time with Bitcoin is the real cause of vulnerability of the price. You may understand a thing or two about bitcoin but to understand the vulnerability of the price takes time and money to understand. especially when you invest at its high price, then suddenly the price just fell after a few hours you invested, you really feel what vulnerability means. You really need to listen when someone told you their fail stories because that will give you some ideas on what to avoid on your next investment. I used every useful thing I read here and that brings me a good result on my investment in BTC.
5875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Questions I have about Bitcoin on: June 01, 2020, 11:33:20 AM
So far, bitcoin is behind in its slow transaction speed and high transaction fees. than Ripple and Tron but these coins are behind regarding Bitcoin's popularity among the investors. there are lots of attempts of these coins to promote themselves to get popularity from the investors but no luck at all. these only indicated that Bitcoin is hard to overcome by those new coins that have both the speed and lower transaction fees. we also have the lightning network technology ongoing development and we are still in its early stage. Right now, all eyes are on BTC price and everyone is not bothered by its slow transaction speed.

When you posting and got criticise because of it then you should use it as your own strength to improve yourself more. Some get angry because of a criticism they got and in the end they stop believing themself.

You can use it as a fuel to improve everything you need to communicate well in this community. With that, you need to understand that everything you don't know, you need to learn it by yourself or you gonna find someone to teach you. I have a thread that will help newbies that don't know how to speak English very well and having some hard time posting constructive posts.

5877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: June 01, 2020, 09:09:41 AM
A few days ago, I witness a token 10x token in my wallet. I got it from bounty long ago and it was not that high back then. somewhat from $0.20 each and suddenly it increases up to 10x a few days ago. but the problem is after a few days, it went back to its normal price until now. I'm glad I sold mine at its peak price and gain a decent amount of money from it. If you see that price of those tokens on the list jump up to 10x than its original price, you should hurry to sell it or else you gonna end up like losing a big opportunity.
5878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: May 30, 2020, 03:04:38 PM
I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

That's a sad story for you but it's not gonna end right there though. but the chances to recover your losses are almost impossible with that little amount left from your investment. good projects nowadays are rare and mostly they are hard to find. That's how it ends up when people choose the wrong project to invest with, that's why we need to be vigilant on reviewing the coin we are about o invest to. That's a big loss man, I hope you can recover from that both emotionally and financially.
5879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: May 30, 2020, 12:10:44 PM
I guess they are trying to become role model for the newer generation to also look into charity rather than money and fame. This might be the reason why they are coming back just to help the needy. It is for a good cause and I will surely support it.

I get it now, these guys will fight just like what we have seen in the NBA when veterans play for charity. that lighten up my doubt about this fight, thanks. Well, if that's gonna happen then this will be fun to watch. I'm happy to live to see this fight if they really happen in the future. Of course, the speed and strength are not there anymore but the popularity still there (all thanks to Youtube though) to make this fight big and hopefully earn a lot for the severely affected of this deadly virus.
5880  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC Wallets Features Comparison Table on: May 30, 2020, 11:46:41 AM
There you go, thanks for more information @o_e_l_e_o

Since I started on this forum there haven't that many wallets you can choose, There are only few of them. As we can see right now there are lots to choose from and with that lots of choices you really need to know more information about comparing each wallet together. I'm really glad I've found this Table and share it with you guys. Trust me you will be needing this Comparison Table in the future when you hold a big amount of BTC.
