We don't, all other market capitalization numbers are based on available supply. So yeah, we're at about $300k now. as an example; let's imagine a coin that will be fully mined in 2016. only 10% of supply on market today, if current market cap based on last 24hr trade and total current supply is 300k and you are buying TODAY with intention of holding long-term. $100k worth (ie, not a short term speculative flip) you need to believe that coin can achieve 3 million by 2016. if you held till 2016 and total valuation is 2.5 mill you've lost money on that trade, really as simple as that. Of course 95% people don't care about the coins value long into the future when total supply reached; hype and mania in such new markets promising to make early adopters rich will take over all common sense, guaranteeing an exit along the way. also it will be dead before 8 years. in cryptocurrency space 8 years is long time. But for serious investment it's not so long at all. Except that you forgot the most important : the value of FIAT money in the future will be lower than now. We don't, all other market capitalization numbers are based on available supply. So yeah, we're at about $300k now. Which mean we are enter the top 50 after only two weeks with no premine, no instamine, no exchange, no pool and not even a GUI wallet. no exchange no pool, no wallet can contribute to price increase. Low liquidity /High barrier to entry means It's a sellers market, and a lot easier to manipulate price on such shallow market. Buyers get word of 'the next bitcoin' want their slice of the pie & largely have to put up or shut up with the asks or risk nothing getting filled, it can be like bidding sniping war. Real price discovery comes on functioning pool, noob friendly wallet and exchange rather than antiquited forum thread Monero doesn't pretend to be the next Bitcoin but it is actually one of the most interesting existing cryptocurrency. You have the right to not like it but everyone should admit that its potential is huge. Just compare it to 99% of the altcoins that are just scrypt-clones made in 5 minutes with stupid names and kids hyping them. |

I am not a programmer but from a logical point: can't we get unconfirmed bets which are in bulks being implemented in the blockchain (saving a. fees and b. speeding up the game? - maybe a kind of a semi-decentralized solution?

De ce que j'en ai lu, le refroidissement par huile ne conviendrait pas pour des activités à "haute intensité" comme le minage car trop de chaleur dégagée. Une solution est peut-être de faire circuler cette huile, mais ça finit par revenir cher ...
En air cooling la chaleur fait : GPU -> radiateur+ventilateur du GPU -> air En watercooling c'est : GPU -> waterblock -> eau -> radiateur+ventilateur externe -> air Ici, l'huile est refroidit par watercooling : GPU -> radiateur + ventilateur du GPU -> huile -> radiateur+ventilateur externe -> air Oui c'est cher mais diablement efficace. On garde les composants de base en air cooling, pas besoin d'installer de waterblock. Tous les composants immergés bénéficient du refroidissement, en particulier la VRAM, les transistors et la carte mère (qui grille souvent en cas d'overclocking en air cooling). Les composants immergés deviennent silencieux. Les ventilateurs externes peuvent être mis en vitesse minimale inaudible s'il y en a suffisamment. Mais surtout le style est incroyable, c'est un PC dans du liquide. |

Rocou, les euros que tu stock dans ta banque, c'est une promesse de la banque de pouvoir te l'échanger en billet Non. Pourquoi non ? Les euros sur un compte en banque n'existent pas en équivalent papier mais on te promet que tu pourrais les avoir. A une grosse différence près: l'or n'est pas facile à transporter et à stocker (et cela coute très cher).
Tu confonds deux choses. L'or physique n'est pas l'or papier. L'or papier se transfert sans déplacement physique et est divisible. L'or papier est similaire au FIAT. Avant que le dollar ne devienne une FIAT, le dollar était une promesse d'échange contre un montant fixe en or.
Cependant, la reserve fractionnaire existait, c'est a dire qui si tout le monde demandait d'échanger les dollars, il n'y aurait jamais eu assez d'or.
Par conséquent, des "bitcoins papier", à l'instar de "l'or papier", je n'en vois pas du tout l'intérêt pour le destinataire: pourquoi préférer une promesse de BTC plutôt que des BTC dans son portefeuille? Pour l'or, l'intérêt est évident: pas de stockage, de problème de transport et l'or papier est bien plus liquide. Mais pour Bitcoin, ça n'a aucun intérêt. Pourtant dans la pratique c'est l'opposé. 99% des marchands Bitcoins ne reçoivent pas de Bitcoins mais passent par un organisme qui récupère les Bitcoins et paye les marchants en FIAT. |
