One of the altcoin that I have an eye on is trade.io or TIO. I invite you to get to know it since the project really worth the time checking out.  Trade.io is a very bad coin. There are dozens of altcoins which are better than it. You can see that just like MTN, ONT, ZIL, and many more that still traded above the ico price. And then i could say that you must need to understand about that. Any coin that has already traded above the ico price provide a better idea and development and that creates a FOMO. |

I can't tell you their (Bitfinex) intentions when they first created Tether but I don't think it takes a genius to understand that things will go wrong, there is no way that the token value will remain unchanged at 1 USD. All it takes is an issue with the bank where they are storing the money and It's done.
Is it a convenient way to trade your coins instead of fiat that could take days? It definitely is, no one could deny that but If you're keeping them for long term storage? not suggested.
I guess there was no any problem with tether audit and it looks like they have the funds to backed tether coin with the dollar. Tether has been used to store for short term trading when the price was declining a lot. I remember that the lawyer of tether has been stated a lot about that. |

There are multiple projects going on in a similar domain. I don't know they really want to help the society with the integration of blockchain or just wanna look "Cool" by adding this term to their spineless projects!
They are running their projects on just one use case and that also framed by them! Just adding blockchain will not help anyone they need to be sure that they are actually solving an existing problem in the current system.

They are not worth to investing your money. They are only copying each other. It will not help anything and there was a similar project with different name than it. Best competitors to Ethereum is NEO. I'll explain in my idea why is that:
- Neo created only a year ago.
- Their community "Neo Army" have a strong development team.
- Neo better in technical using. For example, you can use another language for build smart contracts(in Ethereum only Solidity)
NEO has been kicked from top 10 of coinmarketcap which means if that was not a strong community anymore and it's lack of the development progress. NEO is only better because it's offering staking for the token holders. When the price is too low i guess it is the best time to buy but with the market situation now, we never know if the price is the most lower one or it will be going down again to the lowest level. It is better to make an observation first before doing an investment. If you are reading the latest TA chart and it looks like another bullish has come for us. But i just waiting for another bullish to be appeared again. We will see that the bitcoin will jump from 6k to the 8k again and we will see another massive buy for crypto. |

Just curious what your speculation would be on the future of USDT. I know there has been some controversy as to whether they actually have the 2.7 billion odd dollars they claim are pegged to each USDT. I know it may be a long shot but do you think with banks moving into the cryptospace, that there will eventually be a system similar to how banks do fractional lending so in effect they would only need 10% of USDT value in actual USD?
It looks like there is an announcement about that and it seems like every tether has backed by each USD. This has stated by the lawyer of tether. I thought that the banks are only interested to move into the blockchain system because they can reduce a lot of operational cost. |

Proof of stake is actually people used these days, since only pc or laptop is required no need for a rig or any machines, and also their is a VPS , no need to consume energy you can stake even when you close your pc or laptop as long as your wallet is in VPS. I thought that to run VPS is too risky because you will be putting your amount on there. As far as i know that your amount will be lock for some period after you have sent your money to the staking wallet address. It's too risky in my opinion to run staking through VPS. |
