I am little bit confuse about OP post what actually he need to know. If OP want to report only scam then S_Therapist already answered. Even you newbie you are free to post on Scam Accusation board, just they can't post with image unless they wear copper membership. If there is strong evidence then simply anyone can post on Scam Accusation board. Since scam isn't moderated by forum DT member will handle it. But there is few limitation for Jr. Member on others board. Like they can't read and post on Investigation board. I don't know exactly but there are more board. Since your current rank is Member you are allow to post every board. Open Scam Accusations Page and see there are many threads where person are rated with negative trust because they posted against some business, insted of solving there issue they have rated them with negative trust Would be great if you can post information about who is making this bad practices, any abuse on the forum should be punished and if some high-rank users think they can abuse the newbies or the juniors, the best thing to do is expose them and let moderators do their job. HELP
I downloaded Bitcoin core in my Mac, i have 251Go HD memory.
It took almost all the space but it's worked.
I received and sent BTC few times.
When Bitcoin core start to synchronize last week and suddenly told me that i don't have enough space.
It's arrived to 78%progress, i erase almost all the documents and programs in my computer to free space but it's not enough.
What can i do???
First of all, your poll doesn't really give us options:  HD = Hard Disk.My recommendation for you is to upgrade your internal Hard Disk because if you use an external HD you will have to plug it every time you want to use your wallet and that sound as a plain in the ass. |

creo que es lo que esta pasando con todos los exchanges que estan creciendo en volumen de transacciones y bueno creo que esto tiene que ver cada dia mas con la regulación que estas empresas presentan en el pais que se encuentran, es muy triste que poco a poco se va acabando la privacidad  EL grave error de Shapeshift fue asociarse con la cartera de blockchain, tal vez esto incremento su volumen pero al final los orilló a hacer cosas como estas perdiendo así la esencia del exchanger Onchain y anónimo que solían ser Si queremos que este mundillo se regularice y se acepte a nivel global tendremos que pasar por una regulación del mismo... es lo que hay... y hasta cierto punto es lógico, aunque a mi, particularmente, tampoco me haga una gracia excesiva...
Si queremos un sistema financiero globalizado entonces usemos el sistema clásico, aquel en el que los bancos crean dinero de la nada mejor conocido como intereses. This is the right information to drop the conspiracy theories... It only proves how the main merit senders don't send merits to their friends' circle. 19th Spetember 2018 - one of my worst days on this forum. That day I’ve realized that @Theymos introduced Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements and I was automatically downgraded from Jr. Member to Newbie  Before that day I always though that without crypto knowledge at the expert level and perfect knowledge of English getting even one merit is impossible. But making me a Newbie again was to much... So I’ve decided to „fight for my Jr. Member rank” honestly my whole plan was: to get one single merit - nothing more... but it was 51 days ago and today I’ve got my 100th merit and become „self made” Full Member. So, with this short post I’d only like to thank some of you guys for showing me that this whole merit system really works and if anyone put some effort, time (honestly quite a lot of time) and willingness it’s really possible get higher rank. And what is also funny it turned out that this whole merit thing is also very addictive and challenging... Firstly I have to thank @Theymos - although he did not help me directly, his decision to introduce new rules was the catalyst that mobilized me to work. Recuerdo el día en que poloniex empezó a solicitar a sus usuarios que verificaran su identidad, y era tan ridículo que personalmente preferí no usar mas su servicio. Yo pensaba, ok quieres us ID no hay problema, pero no me pidas una foto deteniendo un papel con la facha actual (Ni que estuviera tratando con 4chan!). Y se me hizo fácil olvidarme de poloniex ya que teníamos Shapeshift el cual solía ser un exchanger OnChain, pero desafortunadamente, desde hace unos días cambiaron las reglas del juego, ahora en shapeshift es necesario abrir una cuenta y verificar tu identidad. El punto es que que día con día es mas difícil ser anónimo, los grandes negocios y su afán de fichar a la gente destruyen la esencia del mundo digital en donde 'nadie sabe que eres un perro' Si conoces algún exchanger que no le importe la identidad de los usuarios por favor menciona lo. |

Hello cryptohunter, i understand your worries. Sometimes i see that Merit mafia too but is just paranoia. That high merit receivers/givers are circle jerking and backslapping each other and not seeking out lower rank members Some users roll that way, i mean, if you become a friend of merit sources that resumes in more chance to get merits. But the merit sources are working hard to make a fair distribution of merits, or at least is that way in the Spanish section with our great merit source JetCash. This guy is making weekly merits giveaways to give the chance to all users to get merits as you can see on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5064480.0 and he even create a thread called 'The merit to become junior' ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030808.0) on that thread he offers one merit to newbies if they bring a good quality post. So, as you say we see a lot of users making a merit circle, but a lot of them are helping newbies too. So, let's not be paranoids and if you see someone abusing the system, then report him. |

Hoy se ha notado una bajada notable, cerca del 6%. Aún así, sigue en unos considerables 0,091. Mi única experiencia en forks fue la de Doge de este año: Subió de 40sat a más de 100sat, para luego quedarse en unos 60. Si son todos iguales, ganas. Mucho, o muchísimo! Saludos! No sabia que doge tuvo un fork  pero ahora ando leyendo sobre Dogethereum, interesante ver como agregaron contratos inteligentes a doge.. Dogethereum es una nueva moneda digital descentralizada, se basará en una instantánea del popular Dogecoin, basado en el algoritmo ETH con la velocidad más rápida de las transacciones, contratos inteligentes. Siempre los hard fork son un juego de ganar - ganar, ya que dividir una cadena de bloques y clonar la cantidad de monedas es difícil que represente perdidas. |

Bitcoin is consuming more energy than Denmark, study- Mining virtual currencies with a real-world value, in other words, carries a hidden environmental cost that is rarely measured or taken into account.
- "We now have an entirely new industry that is consuming more energy per year than many countries," said Max Krause, a researcher at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education and lead author of a study in the journal Nature Sustainability.
"In 2018, bitcoin is on track to consume more energy than Denmark," he told AFP.
Denmark consumed 31.4 billion kilowatt hours in electricity in 2015. As of July 1 of this year, Bitcoin mining used up approximately 30.1 billion kilowatt hours, according to the study.
- For the study, Krause and Thabet Tolaymat, an environmental engineer based in Cincinnati, Ohio, calculated the average energy consumed to create one US dollar's worth of four top virtual currencies -- bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and monero -- over the 30-month period up to June 2018.
That amount was 17, 7, 7 and 14 million joules, or megajoules (MJ), respectively.
A joule is a unit of energy equivalent to the work required to produce one watt of power for one second.
That is up to three times the energy needed to excavate gold, platinum or copper, they found. Of the metals examined, only aluminum -- at 122 MJ per dollar's worth -- was more energy intensive.
- A complete calculation of the environmental cost of virtual currencies would take into account the banks of computers used to mine them.
"The computers are made with gold and other precious metals," said Krause.
"They are run aggressively, which means the hardware is destroyed much quicker than you or I would expect for regular use -- maybe a year instead of five or ten."
You forgot to blame bitcoin about global warming... They just not only consume all that energy, but they also transform the energy to heat and that heat goes to the environment. But the question here is; if we stop all miners what would happen with that energy, and that's the point. We already produce enormous amounts of energy, more than what we want, and if we don't use it we are not saving it, because lets remember the energy conservation law: In physics, the law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system remains constant, it is said to be conserved over time. This law means that energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another. So, better to use it on miners than waste it. |
