5881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which are the fastest streaming services available? on: September 23, 2019, 07:23:39 PM
Unfortunately soccer streams have been banned from reddit. There have been a couple of alternative sites but they have also been banned.
I heard soccerstreams now has a discord server but haven't found it. Anyone has info on soccerstreams on discord or a fresh new sites with good streams?
Not only Soccer streams, but also NBA streams were banned too some time ago, Motorsport streams were forced to move off-Reddit to external website. And it's only matter of time when remaining streaming Reddits will be banned too.
So far I haven't found good alternative. It's getting difficult to find good quality streams, so now I use IPTV and it gives less headache because I don't have to watch 240p streams which stop working on most interesting moment.
Sometimes I use http://livetv.sx/enx/, it's one of the best streaming websites currently.
And I had found one invite link to Discord server, I'm not sure it's same that you're looking for. I sent link to PM.
5882  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 22, 2019, 08:44:57 PM
Dear Sirs,

I can't change my DOGE address on Freedoge. The address I have there belongs to a wallet I can't access anymore. Could somebody help me? Thanks
Can you tell what happens when you try to change it? I just tried it myself and changed without any problems.
BTW, @TheQuin, I remember you said that withdraw treshold on Freedoge.co.in will be lovered before closing it, when it will happen?
5883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Escrow explained on: September 22, 2019, 08:36:31 PM
Nicely explain about how escrow works but using escrow have disadvantages and advantages for the buyer and seller. I'll just provide one of each. Disadvantage of using escrow is you (buyer) and other person (seller) might get scammed by the escrow and get away with it if the escrow is cannot be trusted. Advantage of using escrow when the escrow can Be trusted is that there will be no scam will happen between the buyer and the seller.
I don't see any disadvantages to use escrow. You said that escrow agent can scam and run away with money. Do you think it's likely to happen? We have lot of trusted escrow service providers here who have escrowed thousand of BTC in total, do you really think that they can scam customers? Obviously, you should avoid wanna be escrow providers without any reputation and trading history.
5884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 22, 2019, 08:28:46 PM

Bottas know where he is going and his role to be second driver of Mercedes. Team order sucks, but in past we also saw such things with obvious 2nd driver in Ferrari (Barichelo, Massa) or RedBull (Webber).

Yes, this is his role but as a driver do you will do it?
If you accept a deal like this one you will do only for money, there is no other reason for a driver to refuse the possibility of winning.
I remember the years of Redbull with Webber and Vettel, was a duel on every race.
Also, remember Rosberg and Hamilton, Lewis is not the only winner of the title win Mercedes on the last 5years.
Bottas signed new contract with Mercedes, it probably shows that he is happy with his role. Money is probably big factor too. It's quite obvious that Bottas is average driver in great car, and even if he would get same status like Hamilton, I don't see him fighting for title.
Rosberg story was different. He was very talented driver with big ambitions and he had different status than Bottas. But it's obvious that Mercedes always favoured Lewis.
5885  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin exchange with no fee? on: September 22, 2019, 08:04:24 PM
I've never heard about this exchange before. But free withdrawals sound nice, even if it's only temporary promotion. And probsbly such marketing gives some positive exposure for exchange, as we see from this thread. Most exchsnges have pretty high withdraw fees, especially when it comes to Bitcoin. So, on ExMarkets it's possible to save significant amount of money. Yes, they have trading fees same as all other exchanges, but I can't say that these fees are big. But as said above, trading volume on this exchange is low so far.
5886  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Service for checking BTC addresses and transactions? on: September 22, 2019, 07:30:51 PM
Sorry, but why you're asking for email address in this survey? Can you make it optional? Because I don't really want to leave my email address on random surveys and similar places, I'm already getting more than enough spam.
And speaking about AML directive, as I understand it's only for European Union? I didn't had time to study it, so, can someone tell what does it means for crypto users?
5887  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Facebook misleading people about Libra fake coin. on: September 22, 2019, 07:17:01 PM
Well, it's a bit strange. Facebook doesn't allow crypto related advertisements, so, how they approved this one? Did you at least reported this ad? Because many people may think it's legit and fall into this scam.
And I think it's not correct to say that's not correct to say that Facebook is misleading people. There is simply no benefit for Facebook to such ads, it gives only damage. Because people will fall into scam instead of investing in real Libra tokens.
5888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 22, 2019, 06:12:32 PM
I had United draw today, but I didn't thought that they are so bad to lose another time. If they wil continue like that, they can end without spot in Europa league Cheesy.
When I saw that Villa leading against Arsenal 2:1 at 80 minute, honestly I didn't expected that they can make comeback while having only 10 players on pitch. So, I switched to LFC game and when I saw final score of Arsenal match it was big surprise for me.
I see that I'm up by 9 positions in the pool, but I can't say that was good week for me. Spurs and Everton loses simply cost me too much money and points...
5889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 22, 2019, 06:02:19 PM
Well, it was quite boring race without much action, we only saw true racing in the middle of peloton. Ferrari decision to pit Vettel first was crucial in this race. And I don't know why Charles is so unhappy, because in previous few races Ferrari favoured him. This win after such long break was very needed for Vettel.

Mercedes in very bad space and no comment on Bottas he is so bad driver with no balls. He can't do anything to hurt a position to Hamilton.
Bottas know where he is going and his role to be second driver of Mercedes. Team order sucks, but in past we also saw such things with obvious 2nd driver in Ferrari (Barichelo, Massa) or RedBull (Webber).
5890  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Tips - How to check SHORTLINK safely ? on: September 21, 2019, 11:13:06 PM
It's very useful tool, thanks for sharing. I'm not newbie, but I didn't knew about such things. It's often risky to click shortlinks because you don't know what's hiding behind it. So, such tools solve this problem. Yeah, we have to do some extra steps to check link before clicking it, but it's better safe than sorry.
If you ever see a post that has shortlink or someone else send an Airdrop link but that link is shortened.
-snip-
Nice guide,
but if you see a post that has a short link in this forum, I think that is clearly in violation of one of the forum rules.

-snip-
5. No link shorteners that require users to view an ad.
If I'm not mistaken if there are posts use short links then the link will automatically be deleted and replaced with the sentence [Suspicious link removed] by forum system.
CMIIW.
No, not all shortlinks requires to view ad before ooening website. Shortlinks like Bit.ly don't have ads and it's not against forum rules.
And shortlinks aren't getting automatically removed. I think [Suspicious link removed] thing is only for Newbies when, but I'm not sure when exactly these links are removed. Probably there is some blacklisted websites and domains for newbies.
5891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 21, 2019, 10:46:38 PM
It's been over an hour after the match ended and Valverde is still the manager...what a joke of a board. Are Zidane and Valverde fighting to see who gets the sack first? LOL who would you guys pick?

Honestly, I doubt that Barca will sack Valverde soon. I hope that I'm wrong... But they had to sack him after big failure last season. Probably we need to apear in relegation zone that Valverde finally would be sacked So, I would pick Zidane lol.
It's incredible that team with players like Messi, Griezmann, de Jong and others plays like bottom league table team.
5892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 21, 2019, 09:09:35 PM
What a pathetic performance from Barcelona tonight. We had no chance against mighty Granada and fully deserved to lose. 7 points after 5 games - what a start of season. #ValverdeOut - he must be sacked now, before it's not too late.
Only positive thing so far that Atletico and Real are dropping points too.
5893  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 20, 2019, 11:18:22 PM
Even then I have not heard form anyone here if they had won a lottery. Few of my friends also play at freebitco and they also did not win any big prize. I wonder if this lottery system is fair ?  Huh
Is it so difficult to check lottery page before talking nonsense? Lottery is provably fair and on their page everything is explained in detail.
Fact that you and your friends haven't won anything isn't an argument. There is over 200 000 000 lottery tickets each week. Is it very likely that you or your friend with few hundreds tickets can win? And it's not so diicult to find posts, where people posted proofs that they had won in Freebitco.in lottery.
5894  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallets as a measure of mainstream adoption....? on: September 20, 2019, 11:08:44 PM
I haven't saw things like hardware wallets in local shops. Probably there is just not enough demand to sell it, pretty much same thing why shops aren't accepting Bitcoin. But I think it's possible that in future we will see hardware wallets in physical shops. I saw some shops selling it online - it doesn't hurt them to keep some hardware wallets in their warehouse. But there is simply no reason to keep it on every physical shop of their network when it's no guarantees that someone will buy it.
About possible risks - I don't think that it would be risky to buy hardware walket from physical shop - it's same like to buy from official reseller online.
5895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game on: September 20, 2019, 10:40:28 PM
I agree that's a bit too early to discuss about Olympics and I'm a bit afraid that this thread will be spammed. Maybe it would be better to start self moderated topic?
In Tokyo we will see some new sports like Basketbal 3x3, Baseball,  climbing, surfing, skateboarding. Personally for me most interesting events in Olympics is basketball, athletics and swimming.
As usual this time too the point tables will be dominated by China and USA. I don't understand why players from other countries weren't able to make records and get more medals.
Athletes from other countries win lot of medals and records, but it's normal that they can't compete equally with these giants. Same can be said about things like economics or something similar.
5896  Other / Meta / Re: The end of an era for me: Leaving Signature Campaign on: September 20, 2019, 10:16:27 PM
OP, congratulations with your decision. I perfectly understand you. You just wanted some freedom. Campaigns which requires to make x posts to get paid, "force" users to post, even if they don't have what to say. And sometimes when we have bussy week it can be difficult to make enough posts to get paid. So, sometimes users have to write just for post count and it gives some pressure and can produce spam.
It would be nice if you will share your thoughts after some time without being in signature campaigns, how it changed your experience and posting habbits here.
There was some periods when I didn't had enough time for Bitcointalk and I was struggling to find good topics to reply something and I thought about leaving signature campaign. But it was temporary feelings. As said above, we have great opportunity to earn some money when we do what we like and it would be stupid to miss it.
@actmyname, you have valid points. But obviously advertisers want more visibility and this is why these requirements are needed - probably such campaign structure is the most effective.
5897  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin.com is worth, what price would Roger sell? on: September 20, 2019, 09:20:27 AM
Here is what Ver said about it:
I've never sold a single domain name in my life.  I've only purchased them, and then used them.
I don't think he would ever sell this domain. It's very important weapon for him in war against Bitcoin and his ego is probably too big to sell it.
But if someone would offer him it - https://youtu.be/u_aLESDql1U, I'm sure that he wouldn't say no Cheesy.
5898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: September 20, 2019, 09:06:37 AM
I don't know what's the point of such questions. Because it's impossible to tell what will happen in future and we can only predict. And as said above, cryptocurrency is still on very early stage of adoption and there is no point to talk about replacement for it. We're still not even in digital era - paper cash is still big thing and not replaced by digital money, I'm not even talking about crypto.
5899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigerian crypto educator returns $80k in bitcoin recieve by mistake. on: September 19, 2019, 11:39:02 PM
Well, it's never a good idea to make general assumptions about something based just on few examples. Nigeria had lot of negative attention due to big number of scams from this country, but I think Nigeris isn't exceptional in this topic. You can find lot of scammers in all corners of world.  And unfortunately for Nigeria it will be difficult to change their image into positive side, because this stereotype about scammers is already deep in people heads.
This story is very nice. 7.8 BTC is a lot of money and it's amazing that original owner was able to get it back. Because often in such situation it can be impossible to find it. Even if you have good intentions, sending Bitcoin back to sender's address could result that these BTC will be lost forever, for example if that person used exchange address.
