5881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Building my first RIG, Help! on: May 11, 2017, 12:11:21 AM
Hi, I would like tips to set up my first Ethereum Mining Rig, but I have little money to start with, what equipment should I worry about buying?
You want yo build etherum mining rig , didn't you hear about etherum turning to pos you should target another coin rather than etherum , you should think of zcash better and safe , eth may turn pos at any time before you hit your roi
You better think of nVidia rig.

What is "pos"?

pos mean "proof of stake"
pow mean "proof of work"
Proof of Stake is a proposed alternative to Proof of Work. Like proof of work, proof of stake attempts to provide consensus...
With Proof of Work, the probability of mining a block depends on the work done by the miner (e.g. CPU/GPU cycles spent checking hashes).
With Proof of Stake, the resource that's compared is the amount of Bitcoin a miner holds - someone holding 1% of the Bitcoin can mine 1% of the "Proof of Stake blocks".
5882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3+ is open order on: May 10, 2017, 08:06:40 AM
This is like a scam, http://asicsminer.com/ registered domain name on May 3, and the information on the site is not available, I suspect this is a phishing scam site of the person who created this topic.  Cool Cool Cool Cool

Just buy on a legit asicsminer hardware manufacturer. or you can buy it in ebay and i'm sure it will not scam you.

5885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you storing your ethereum? on: May 10, 2017, 05:56:18 AM
for me I store my ethereum coin online because the site of my ethereum wallet is legit and no history record of scam.
It is recommended to store it online than to create on your pc wallet.

5888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 10, 2017, 12:38:48 AM
I also vote signature campaign because this is my start here to earn bitcoin. I also do some faucet it is just a little but it's fun.
trading is my second choice but I don't do that for now because I don't have enough stocks of bitcoin. maybe in the future or sooner.
5889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: May 09, 2017, 08:14:22 AM
I my country there is no bank that accept bitcoin but coins.ph is Philippines base private business organization that they create a website that accept bitcoin and create your bitcoin wallet here and they do is they partnership some bank here. They accept water and electrical bill payments, load and other transactions that accept bitcoin thru there website you can  pay your bills. I think they are middle man/agent and it is good that we have this in our country.
5890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin business idea on: May 09, 2017, 04:03:28 AM
I am curious of your opinion about if you have to start a bitcoin business from scratch today. What is the type of business will your start, even if any of this type of business don't exists at the moment?

I know the typical business type on the market are :

  • Exchange
  • Blog
  • Lending
  • Trading
  • Selling stuff in bitcoin
  • Freelance job in bitcoin
the first two are the best options for me. If I will have some money and I will be able to spend money on developers and on advertising and for staff then I will go for the first choice as it require more money while if I will have less money then I will create my blog that is very interesting for me.

1,4 and 2 is the best options for me also if you have huge amount of money or capital. Because if you do business with bitcoin you need a lot of money to invest and a lot of personnel to hire you need also good programmer and developer to make a blog and it is better of you create a website for your bitcoin business transactions.
5891  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 09, 2017, 03:24:54 AM
No, there's other ways to use that $3,000 to make more money then you would I you waited a year.

for me if I have that money! I invest it with mining hardware to mine bitcoin than to buy bitcoin and hoard it for a long time coz we don't know when the value of bitcoin to go up and down.

5892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: May 09, 2017, 01:59:56 AM
I like bitcoin as digital currency and i like it very much. I can have it online and I can spend it online just like credit cards.
I have bitcoin like I have savings bank online. as long as I have pc and internet I can earn bitcoin by joining signature campaign and some bitcoin faucet.
I don't even have an investment of bitcoin using my personal money I just earn it online and it is very good for me.
5893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 09, 2017, 01:28:09 AM
Cash is also known as money, in physical form. Cash usually includes bank accounts and marketable securities, such as government bonds and banker's acceptances. You can buy through it. It is not there to buy goods using directly bitcoin. You need to convert it to become money.

yes you right! cash is good physical form of money it's handy and you can buy anything in an instant while digital currency as bitcoin is digital currency and need network fee and confirmation in every transaction before you can buy.
cash is better than any than bitcoin. we already used cash sense before and bitcoin is new and it is in digital world.
5894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 09, 2017, 12:00:27 AM
World and technology are very advanced right now. However, that does not mean the bank will disappear, instead the bank will innovate with this progress. Banks are needed by every country and its citizens.
if we think that bitcoin is also play a role of bank , in bank your money in control of your bank or country government and bitcoin is in our own control no one can stole or hold our balance and bitcoin fees is very much low than bank i hope one day bitcoin will be disappear the bank in the future.
you are right that bitcoin is already play a role of bank bitcoin bitcoin system is much more stable than bank and bitcoin has no extra charges and there is not tax apply on bitcoin so i hope bitcoin will be get more popularity and stronger in the future.

bitcoin has already have an ATM machine just like ATM of a bank. I found one in UK my friend told me that they can transact pound to bitcoin and bitcoin to pound. The bank may not disappear they will only adopt bitcoin because bitcoin is only digital currency and different to local paper money.
5895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's stack on: May 08, 2017, 06:06:59 AM
its spread out amungst many thousands of addresses
pretty much the first 144 blocks on day one of bitcoin  95% sure that majority of them coins (7200coins spread over 144 addresses) are satoshis.
yes each block  different address of about 50 btc each 144 blocks each day adds upto to thousands of addresses

in the first couple weeks id say 90% are satoshi's. the first month 40% are satoshis first couple months 20% are satoshis
by the end of the first year under 5% are satoshi's but all of those addresses thousands of addresses have ~50 btc on them each.

It is safe to assume that 90%> of the coins mined on the first month is from satoshi alone, knowing that him and Hal were the first ones who worked on the project. I've read something in this forum a year or so ago about some estimates of the total coins Satoshi has on all of his wallets: 1.4 million bitcoins are from him, spread amongst thousands of addresses from the first year of bitcoin's existence. I do believe that most of these coins are already lost in the void unless Satoshi really plans on doing some things for them in the future and kept the private keys safely. In today's pricing, that would be a whooping $2.14B or more, which is not too bad for his magnum opus.

I think that only Satoshi know where is his all bitcoin go now. He did this on purposely and anonymously that he only knows. His the creator of bitcoin and he can do all of this.

5900  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Need help for my Antminer U3... on: May 08, 2017, 12:20:23 AM
If the miner still works that's good, pretty sure you can replace the fan as it's just an 92 80mm one. It's likely a three pin connector if it's powered by just 12V.

Thanks for correction from hagssfin below, 92mm not 80, but still 3 pin.

yes the miner still works... the only issue is the fan. I spin it manually but it does not work. may be I replace it. Yes its 92mm 3 pin circle ship fan.
