No, not really. It's too little of an amount for Bitcoin at this point. There will be profit but IMO not justifiable. Because let's assume that buys you 2 BTC now, that will turn into 5000-6000 AT BEST after some years.
Look into other coins instead, such as Ethereum.

I couldn't agree more. No point in investing in a crypto currency which is already huge by itself, not only because of the profit but also because of the risks, the two things are linked actually: let's say you plan on investing in BTC and expect a decent profit, BTC is currently worth $1560, you would have to invest a large amount of money to get a decent profit out of it. For the same very reason, it's not recommended to take such a risk, because let's suppose you invested and BTC started dropping all of a sudden, the losses would be devastating because you had to invest a certain amount of money. And yes by the way, I would recommend to invest in "small" coins as well, you could only earn, and even if they failed you would have lost nothing compared to what you'd lose with BTC.

but experts are saying that at the end of this year, price will be 2000$

this year, price impact will be from russia, india and china

In my opinion its better to buy altcoins such as ethereum, monero dash, litecoin ,etc. I think these coin have good potential to grow in future.
You can buy different coins. Dont invest all your money in a coin like bitcoin or any other. Its so risky.

Wait a couple weeks for price to drop a little and buy one Bitcoin.

Put some into coins like Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin- solid projects that (hopefully) make a modest return.

Then put a small amount into coins and hope for a big return- 10x to 100x
I bought some coins like ICASH and HALLOweencoin since they have new developers and have been added to more exchanges. Maybe one of these will make profit.

Its good to have a mix in your crypto portfolio. (Again, IMO.)

The only thing I can tell you is not to risk your all capital with an investment on one coin such as Bitcoin, ethereum or any other thing. It's always best to split your capital into smaller pieces to invest in different coins.

hi;

i have 3000$ and what do you think? im going to buy bitcoins and i will wait for years last;

is worth that decision good ?

Will you ask that question at 3000, or 6000, 9000, etc..? It is my belief that Bitcoin is near bottom of a major move upwards in the coming months. Buying now and holding has never failed anyone. The only way you lose is if you sell too soon. There may be better short term profits in alts but those markets could crash at any time. No risk, no reward. Choose wisely.

The earlier you are to join the Bitcoin community the better, if you are a bit hesitant, then you might read story from way back a year ago about the same question you have.  At the end it shows that, if they bought Bitcoin last year, they would have been sitting in a 100% plus profit right now.  The market has not been fully saturated so, I think it is still safe and profitable to buy Bitcoin now.

It is a good investment if you will wait for many years. When bitcoin first started in 2009/2010 years it was worth only cents and up to very few dollars for a bitcoin. Look at the price where it is now, steady at over 1500 dollars from some days. I think in 2025 it can be at least 15.000 dollars for a bitcoin so your investment may pay off really good.

It is a good time to buy bitcoin now with that money because if you will buy bitcoin now then you will get two bitcoins and at the end you will double up your money while if you will not buy now and will wait for the end of the year then at that time you will get only one or less than one bitcoin with that $3000.

It is a good idea of diversifying your funds to reduce your losses over the time. If this $3000 is the very high amount for you and takes many days to save that much amount means better don't put all your funds in only cryptocurrencies instead invest some of them in other assets also. If not, you split that amount and buy bitcoins and other alt-coins but better to invest more in bitcoins and also you can start accumulating in smaller quantities than buying everything at one shot.

Ethereum is still more riskier that BTC. It is arguable that ETH's price is that low, considered that value of ETH was around $13 in March and now it is $100.
You base your assumption on hope that ETH will follow bitcoin path and grow to +$1000 and more while bitcoin will be only $5000 - this it is hard to predict.

My stance is: ETH should be your short trading position and Bitcoin long.

If i am having a good bank balance and i am optimistic about the bright future i would buy with every dip,but is it the right time to buy bitcoin,no one know and i would not risk to enter at a very high rate as the risk is really huge if the price takes a dive,so i would rather wait for a correction to enter the coin once more.

It is still worth to buy Bitcoin but don't wait a year before selling it, Sell it anytime when you can get 10-20% profit then wait for a big dump before buying again, Rinse and Repeat and i assure you that your 3000$ will double in no time, also invest in other alt coin especially those that in ICO you can double your money in most of them.

What's your time horizon?

If it's 5+ years, buy now and then save up to buy more. If it's less than 5 years buy Ethereum instead. Both are available via Coinbase (PM me for a referral link to get you some money back).
