5901  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitLasers.com - Handheld Lasers and accessories on: April 15, 2012, 02:55:20 AM
I can't help but notice you're using CREE drivers, right? (it's on one of those pics) IMHO, cheap cree drivers are really meant for led's and the such. Maybe try using one of those quality lasers by Moh's or DTR?  Cheesy

Can you provide interest free loans for amounts like 10000+ btcs and absorb the damages due to scams?
5903  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [OPEN] Offering relatively large, short loans at 1.5% interest per day on: April 14, 2012, 03:37:47 PM
I'm here to request a 1-day, 30 BTC loan.

Scammer.
I'M NOT A SCAMMER.  To prove it, I won't take out a loan, unless I REALLY need one.

Out of curiosity, what did you want the loan for anyway?

(and while it might look like it, we're not all sharks, but we've collectively lost a lot of money to fraud, and some people like to bash new user loan requests)
Like me and Tomatocage.  Wink

Paper wallets ftw.
5905  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [551GH] ABCPool PPS - Proxy Pool For High & Steady Mining Rewards on: April 14, 2012, 08:42:22 AM
Out of curiosity, why would someone mine on this pool instead of say at MtRed? They offer true 0% fee PPS payout + merged mining of nmc. I'm wondering why more aren't flocking to them.

I'm seeing a lot of stales there. Reliability is still a major key when your miners are far from you. For this, most of my rigs are still at btcguild.
5906  Economy / Goods / Re: (1) FREE $500 Amazon Code giveaway. Make a comment in this thread. on: April 14, 2012, 08:23:48 AM
well crap I didn't know every comment was an entry or I woulda been commenting a whole lot lately

Jeez, inb4 you got a big influx of posters inflating their post count with random spam.

It's too late.

Fuck you and the chihuahua that sired you, you're a waste of oxygen and so typical of the most blank generation the western world has seen

That is all.

I don't see any coherent proof linking them together. You know, you can have an intelligent discussion based on some of your posts. Why stoop to insult your intelligence by trolling like a deranged madmen bent on some unknowable plot?

In the end, does it matter?

No in both cases.
5908  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [105% TESTING] I want your hashing power! "Project #2" on: April 14, 2012, 05:34:45 AM
Looking at CGMiner, I notice most stales/rejects come when a new block is detected at the network before longpoll kicks in.
5909  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: April 14, 2012, 05:29:26 AM
My wallet literally sent you its contents by itself and games started rapidly playing until my wallet on the site emptied. Anny chance of looking into what happened there? It looks like my wallet was stolen and sent to you, but I don't see what possible benefit that could have for whomever did it. That was kind of my paycheck for this month that I just got today. I have to wait another month to get groceries unless this gets solved.

are you serious?

I lol'ed.
5910  Other / Meta / Re: New GLBSE/investment child forum in marketplace? on: April 14, 2012, 05:21:12 AM
Up until now most GLBSE posts have had some link to Bitcoin -- either they were mining companies, or in some other was Bitcoin related.

But over time (and probably sooner than later) GLBSE listings will not necessarily have much to do with bitcoin.  As a result, perhaps the conversations regarding listed companies and new issues should be guided towards the GLBSE forum?

I didn't knew there was a GLBSE forum LOL. However, that forum seems to be a bit lonely imo.

If a fully fledged global economic meltdown were to occur, I'd go for 60% staples, ammo, meds, and 40% barter-able stuff like liquor, cigs,silver/gold. You should go take a look at those SHTF forums and see how they prepare too.
5913  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [105% TESTING] I want your hashing power! "Project #2" on: April 14, 2012, 03:51:40 AM
I get about 0.82% stales.

Is that good ?

What are others getting ?

Thanks !

My stales are now at 1.02% with total of 224114 shares. 27 hours running. So, rejects have been dropping.

3.72% of stales, running a couple days. Was down to 2+- yesterday.
5914  Economy / Services / Re: Cash back (or should I say bitcoin back) program for earning me affiliate money! on: April 14, 2012, 03:45:51 AM
1. What website?
2. What is the BTC exchange rate offered by the site? I expect it to be exorbitantly high as it offers high returns to affiliates.
3. How can we be sure you'll uphold your end of the deal?

That is all.
1. bitcoinexchange.com
2. same as others
3. because I am honest when paying.

1. bitcoinexchange.com is down : http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/bitcoinexchange.com
If you mean bitcoinexchange.cc , see this thread where the complaints are https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6223.500
2. No. The current rates are :

Code:
• Buying Exchange Rate
$0 - $499 - 6% - $5 minimum
$500 - $999 - 5%
$1000+ - 4 %

• Selling Exchange Rate
$0 - $499 - 6% - $5 minimum
$500 - $999 - 5%
$1000+ - 4 %
This, and from what I've seen from his past customers, the mark up are easily 4-50%+. Else it makes no sense that the affiliates paying rate is 15%.

Recent testimonial:
Well, currently, the rate of the cut you took from me is 100%. That's a steal, alright.

Anyone considering using this exchange should take the time to read through this thread and see how many complaints there are. I'll add my voice to the mix of the disenfranchised. I've been waiting on an exchange that was supposed to take less than 24hrs for about five days now. Everyday, he'll take care of it by the end of the day, and yet each day goes by with things unresolved. If I give OP the benefit of the doubt, he's at best a mediocre businessman. The longer this drags on, the more selective scammer comes to mind.

I'll update if anything changes, but I'll avoid this 'exchange' like the plague henceforth.

edit: We could just buy elsewhere and save the 7.5% you give as 'cashback' + more.

3. What do you have to guarantee that? For what we might know, you could easily run a month later. Having a history of dubious posts in the lending section doesn't exactly add to your cred.

It would be easier to track GLBSE news if it was all grouped together.

Yeah, that was one of the reason why I proposed this. No more bumping/promoting to make their threads stay on first page in the immensely crowded marketplace subforum.
5917  Other / Meta / New GLBSE/investment child forum in marketplace? on: April 14, 2012, 02:42:40 AM
There seems to be a flurry of new GLBSE threads springing up all over the place in the marketplace section. Would it be better to consolidate everything inside a new GLBSE or Investment child forum in the marketplace sub-forum?

Discuss.  Smiley

just a heads up, people are pretty cautious around these parts, meaning that you will probably need more than 1 post prior to launching this kind of service

+1.
