Although to become a successful trader involves a lot of research in both technical and fundamental analysis, I have meet full time traders who don't have other sources of income other than trading.
5902  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: May 25, 2018, 03:56:42 AM
The troubled  economy of Zimbabwe resorted to bitcoin when the country ran into shortage of hard currency, Zimbabwe economy deteriorated due to economic sanctions imposed on them by developed countries thus causes hyperinflation however their citizens adopted bitcoin as a way out of the harsh economy and successfully utilized the opportunities of using bitcoin for their transactions.
5903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to improve Bitcoin Community on: May 25, 2018, 03:39:03 AM
I am imploring bitcointalk community to intensifies our efforts in projecting bitcoin as a digital currency with a store of values which is can be a solution to societal problems, social media are critical about cryptocurrencies and have been spreading cryptos in a bad light, let us join hands to show the world how bitcoin can reduce global poverty rate, reduce unemployment.
5904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Africa Kidnappers demands Ransom in Bitcoin to free teenager on: May 24, 2018, 07:16:00 PM

http://www.africanews.com/2018/05/23/south-africa-kidnappers-demand-ransom-in-bitcoin-to-free-teenager
How will such news affect critics view of bitcoins?
The actions of these kidnappers will taint bitcoin in a bad light, the social media who of recent had in the forefront of tarnishing the image of btc with various internet frauds such as money laundering the press will capitalize on this  bad news and intensifies their effort in sending negative signals about bitcoin thus encouraging more bans and regulations in many countries.
5905  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-24] Regulatory Uncertainty Pushes BTC Below $8,000, Tom Lee Predicts a on: May 24, 2018, 03:04:08 PM
Tom Lee had succinctly analyzed and speculated the  price of bitcoin which I belief are facts and figures however did he consider the 'whales' who manipulates the price of btc at will? MtGox massive
recurrent dumping of btc into the market did more havoc and harm to the price rather than good and all these challenges can make or mar the projected speculations byTom Lee.
5906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is reward paid? on: May 23, 2018, 11:02:44 PM

As a newbie its too early to start joining bounty campaign there are a lot of resources here in the forum to aid your learning process of cryptocurrencies while you rank up to a Jr.member of course you are expected to post quality post in the forum and there are so many things to learn.
5907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin down, what will happen? on: May 23, 2018, 10:26:41 PM
seeing bitcoin prices go down and up, I'm a bit frightened to buy bitcoin at the moment, I judge I could lose, do you think, whether bitcoin prices can continue to go down, or even rise high?
Having been in the system i.e I am not surprise with the price behavior of bitcoin its has been a regular reoccurring process seeing the sudden crash in the price and thereafter price recovery follows, may be a 'whale' had dumped some btc into the market thus causing a FUD whatever the case may be there is going to be price recovery.

Verge Struck by Second PoW Attack in as Many Months

Accident-prone altcoin verge has been crippled by yet another mining attack. A little over a month after being subjected to a 51% attack, the network is once again at the mercy of a malevolent attacker who is rejecting blocks and profiting handsomely off the carnage caused. The repeat attack illustrates the risks faced by low hashrate Proof of Work coins.

Verge Does a Verge Special

On the morning of May 22, Suprvona, one of the largest altcoin mining pools, informed its 19,000 Twitter followers that verge was suffering yet another 51% attack, causing all blocks to be rejected. The attack was spotted by the same individual who uncovered the previous attack in April. In a post on the Bitcointalk forum, “ocminer” wrote: “Since nothing really was done about the previous attacks (only a band-aid), the attackers now simply use two algos to fork the chain for their own use and are gaining millions”.

The entity responsible was coining in $1,000 a minute and is believed to have made $1.7 million already from the attack. Predictably, verge’s fans assigned the attacker’s motivations to “an act of hate” designed to FUD their altcoin. This theory gained short shrift on the Bitcointalk forum, with one commenter retorting: “Verge is being targeted because it has shitty coding and an incompetent developer. This hack is the result of the terrible job he did ‘patching’ the previous hack.” The original attack involved exploiting one of the five hashing algorithms verge uses (most cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin only use one). This time around the attacker is believed to have used two algos after renting power from a service such as Nicehash and then using it to find all the new blocks.

5910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks to start trading crypto sooner on: May 22, 2018, 06:02:22 PM
Banks entry into crypto trading could spell doom in control of prices of Cryptos in the sense that they would massively buy Cryptos and  turns around to become whales thus manipulate and controls the price of Cryptos, this is a subtle way by which banks wants the control of the market of course they have available funds to buys huge amount of Cryptos and hodl thus taking the control completely from individual, exchanges e.t.c.
5911  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-16] LG Electronics Launches Its Own Blockchain-based Platform on: May 22, 2018, 05:51:26 PM
LG is now following the foot paths of other companies who nows sees the benefits of adoption of blockchain technology mostly in chain supply and other sectors these are cost effective measures that will ensure optimum profits and LG is capitalizing on South Korea friendliness to the use of blockchain unlike fellow neighboring countries that are always on rampage and clamping down on exchanges that had adopted blockchain technology.
5912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you see bitcoins yourself? on: May 21, 2018, 04:44:50 PM
Personally I see bitcoin as a unique kind of commodity with many attributes such as store of value that is I can save my fiat in form of bitcoin in my wallet without a bank, I can earn bitcoin while offering services and jobs online, I can send or receive fiat in form of bitcoin, I can trade with bitcoin instead of USD or EURO, I can mine bitcoin to earn bitcoin, I can buy and sell goods and services while enable payment with bitcoin e.t.c
5913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Token When Bounty Hunters Sell They Coins on: May 21, 2018, 03:28:09 PM
Hello guys, I hope you all have a nice day. Wink
in this year a lot of ICO projects that make Bounty Campaign, When ICO successful and has been listed in the market, Most bounty hunter immediately sell all coins they have.
This causes the price of a token to fall even away from the ICO price.
Have you taken advantage of this moment, guys? I think its moment is a good time to buy a token with a cheap price. how about you?
very happy to hear your experience about that. Wink

Generally, most of the bounty hunters are just dumpers, and they sell their tokens immediately after receiving them, even for very low prices. In my opinion, that's wrong and it is indeed the shortest way to big losses. If you believe in the project you can buy from them with cheap price and holding until the price goes up highly.
Dumpers of bounty tokens had really had a drastic effect on the price of token when listed on an exchange thus lowers the price however researching the prospect of that particularly coin if possible to know the ones of high potentials and buy cheaply from dumpers and hodl will be a very wise idea.
5914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used as a donation to the church on: May 21, 2018, 12:15:52 PM
Well it may sound well and easier to donate bitcoin to church for the propagation of the gospel of Christ however how are those churches updated as regards how to receive bitcoin? i.e transactions of bitcoin. If they are well disposed to this latest technology then I will be quite easier to donate and transfer bitcoin to churches.
5915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: May 20, 2018, 04:46:51 AM
As far as bearish runs is concerned we are not out of the woods yet from technical analysis point of view the support at $7800 to $8000 looks very strong for the bears to break however the bullish trend has not been sustained thus the price movement looks sluggish and struggles above $8000 hopefully a positive FUD will triggers the bullish runs.
5916  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-19]High School Students in the Netherlands Are to Pass an Exam on Bitco on: May 20, 2018, 04:33:04 AM
The basic idea is just to expose the students to the rudiments of bitcoin and the technology behind it. There are a lot of successes recorded so far as regards bitcoin especially in the developed countries and Netherlands is trying to educates their own students towards achieving a set goal in this modern world of digital currency.
5917  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-19]Switzerland Government Plans To Create A National Digital Currency on: May 19, 2018, 06:27:33 PM
Government in some countries are living up to expectations regarding to creation of digital currencies Venezuela had launched petro, Switzerland is also coming up with it own this is a wake up call to all other governments to seize this opportunities and tap into the potentials of using digital currencies for business transactions and as a store of values.
5918  Economy / Speculation / Re: Survived 8000, time for $10k? on: May 19, 2018, 06:04:33 AM
What do ya think. Bitcoin straddled 8000 last night but failed to break down further, now it's made a couple $100 jumps up today. Have we seen <$8000 for the last time? Are we heading back to challenge $10k by the end of the month?
It is very obvious that the bears couldn't break the support at $7800 to $7900 thus enabling the bulls to take over the market, I just hope  that the bulls should sustain the momentum so as to have a rapid increase in the price, some analyst believed that bitcoin price increases over the weekends.
5919  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin in developing countries on: May 19, 2018, 05:55:23 AM
at present, bitcoin is becoming known to people around the world, especially in developing countries. the majority of bitcoin is introduced through news on television and on the internet. Therefore people are starting to want to know what bitcoin is and if it appeals to them, they will invest instead?
Well the government should not be silent on bitcoin, they think bitcoin is disrupting economic stability and there will be inflation in the country.
Do you think that bitcoin will disrupt economic stability and there will be inflation due to bitcoin in a country?
Adopting bitcoin as a digital currency to fiat in developing countries would ease and ensures swift transactions but those government are scared of losing income that can be generated from taxes as result of anonymous transactions thus disrupting their economic policies especially in countries of lower population however this would not necessarily cause inflation in those countries and there will more influx of foreign exchange through services and jobs offered online.
5920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: May 19, 2018, 03:00:16 AM
From my close observation Litecoin price movement correlates with that of bitcoin, I had studied both coins based on candlestick patterns and price action are very similar indeed, however this could not necessarily mean that Litecoin is the next bitcoin of course bitcoin is far ahead in terms of market cap, trading volume e.t.c.
