One of the things that's significant about this development is that the fast transaction property is not nearly as reproducible as it is with other coins. That's because it is a function of the unique 2-tier infrastructure that Darkcoin has.

This is a game changer.

A retaliation effort has commenced with a hail of granular DRK sells attempting to take advantage of the large spread gap to quell the upward momentum.

It's trading bots VS Bloomberg & Fox couch potatoes in a battle for control of the order book as the bots find themselves still short in an unexpected bullrun (cos they don't watch TV). Unfortunately for them, the sheer lard ass innocence of the buying side is proving immune to their birdshot which simply bounces off in all directions with the result that 15 minute MACD has now solidly punched through to the upside while 1 hour and 4 hour charts have gone divergent again.

Market depth has gone top heavy indicating that traders think a rise is on the cards. Meanwhile liquidity thickening up in the bids close to the trading price spread gap.

Signs of more Bloomberg and Fox couch potatoes putting their quarterpounders & cheese to one side for a moment while they manoeuvre their fat *sses over to their PC to do some cryptocuyrrency trading.

15 minute MACD crossing over now to the upside. If trend continues we'll have good confirmation in about 30 minutes. 227 DRK shot just gone through on cryptsy as jostling for position invokes a marginally more aggressive edge from buyers.

EDIT: All walls around 75 just bulldozed in a hail of buys: 31, 332, 128, 39 and 60 DRK shots in 10 seconds have blown the spread gap wide open. No doubt panicked short position traders will resorting to use of granular DRK to attempt to keep the price at its low end. We'll shortly see how  successful that measure turns out to be.

Lets hope that Jesse Livermore has got himself back on the train by now.

Upside momentum is consolidating as Bloomberg and Fox couch potatoes turn themselves overnight into seasoned cryptocoin traders - choosing their entry points with hairline precision as the 1 hour MACD shows signs of splitting wide again.

There is little to impede their progress until we hit the wall at 75 apart from a few chunks of meat hanging from the ceiling around 7445.

Purchasing has recommenced as the 5-minute wave anticipates the 15-minute rollover to the upside. Granular DRK has been keeping the seat warm for the last 2 hours but with the arrival of 238 and 210 DRK shots, some more chunky servings have turned up.

We're not quite there yet though since someone's standing at the edge of the spread gap with a peashooter firing granular DRK across to keep the numbers red.

Unfortunately it's not enough to fool unsuspecting Bloomberg and Fox viewers who want their 61, 13, 99 and 62 DRK shots respectively.

If you ever did any trading with Jackpotcoin, the transaction time was nothing short of incredible. I never measured it but it definitely felt like 5-20 seconds and very consistent. Put it this way, by the time I refreshed the page on the exchange it was there.

If DRK can match that it will be quite impressive.

What happened ?

ok. I sent 25 DRK as well.

But I don't like the idea. We are in serious trouble if DRK is no more than a charity.

This is a global project that portends to challenge Bitcoin which portends to challenge the entire financial system.

Something doesn't square if we are having to send 25 DRK to developers. Seems more like a toy.

jiggytom had a point - it isn't insignificant that DRK passes LTC in volume, even if it's just the exchange that he/she happens to be looking at at the time.

All you have to do is point out that there's a global picture as well as a local one. How's anyone new ever going to learn anything if they just get their knuckles wrapped whenever they post anything that's not bullet proof-5-star expert approved ?
