5921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Vslice Token Predictions on: January 01, 2017, 01:58:10 PM
Read about Vdice : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1633105.0
The ICO currently ended and can collecting approx 215k ETH convert in USD 1.7Million USD (sorry if i'm wrong), one of ICO who has collecting much fund from investor, currently has added in https://liqui.io/#/exchange/VSL_BTC and the dumping has begun. If this token listed in major exchange like bittrex and poloniex, what price is worth for this token

It doesn't matter in which exchange the tokens are listed. Majority of the tokens after the ICO will see some profit booking and bounty dumping by the hunters and price will fall. Take a look at SNGLS. It will depend upon the devs and the rest of the loyal supporters/investors to buy into these tokens at cheaper price which will slowly cause the prices to rise again.

I think the SNGLS team are the cause of the significant drop in price, lack of communication and no workable roadmap to work with. They are very lucky to secure such huge fund and have taken the investors for granted

Vslice will take off once the wallet is ready and when they start to pay out dividends, vslice can appreciate even more. I think 0.0001 btc now is a fair value and once they start paying dividends, valuation will depend upon the dividends paid.
5922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: January 01, 2017, 01:50:43 PM
Bitcon at $921.  Grin

This is great, this time next year, we are all gonna be millionaires.  Cheesy

Some day, all the bitcoin holders will be well rewarded. I believe that someday your words will come true. Till then it is time for us to buy, accumulate bitcoins and store them for the future.
Damn! I wish I had bought truck loads of bitcoin when bitcoin was valued at ~1300 bitcoins  per $ back when it all began!
5923  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY!!! on: January 01, 2017, 01:46:38 PM

@bitstamp it seems not many want to sell at the moment  and buy wall looks good. We have 880-900 as base now it seems. Lets hope it builds up slowly towards 1k
After Christmas I am pretty confident for continuous of this rally after confirming these rock solid stable prices. Bitcoin is trading within narrow range for three days and hopefully this may signal another significant rally toward $1000 within this week. Four more days to new year still very confident to see $1000 price levels.

Right on my man, the way it has been holding 880-900 range for couple of days i am sure we will see 1k very  soon  . The interesting part will be how  market reacts  when we reach it . I for one am looking forward to finding out

Bitcoin is all set to make massive moves in the coming months and it seems like this is just a beginning. It is good to make small movements and come back to test the new support levels. This is good when you look at the technical analysis portion.
5924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs worth investing on: January 01, 2017, 01:40:32 PM

Currently you can invest in ICO who still run like Darcrus and Chronobank, if you want to invest in Darcrus ICO you can buy the token at Bittrex exchange and the price now is 4k satoshis/Dar and the ICO will be finish in a couple day or on 28th Dec

Also interested in buying wings , but only through altcoins.
Few people have read rules and bonus for early investors gave nothing.

I would recommend WINGS ICO out of all the current ICOs that are running at the moment. WINGS seems like they have a team of qualified members and they have been planning on WINGS for a long time. All the other ICOs that are active now have just poped up out of no where.
5925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese factors behind the 14 billion marketcap of Bitcoin on: January 01, 2017, 01:33:26 PM
Apparently the general public still hates bitcoin.

I don't think that is the case. A large majority of the general public has never heard about the Bitcoin. Even among those who have heard about the coins, the opinion is mixed. Some people hate it, as Bitcoins are frequently used for ransomware payments and darkmarket purchases. But some others like it, for advantages such as protection against inflation, and anonymity.
Who is general public ? Obviously we are. But we are all love it.
This 14 billion cap is not built by dev alone so that we can say public is not contributing in this. Even 90% of people are not aware of bitcoin yet, bitcoin's growth is already in rapid pace. So, when it goes down to 50% we may not just imagine the market cap.

I think that is not right. General people who are brain washed by banking institutions dislike bitcoin. But this is changing when more and more people realize the power, freedom and advantage bitcoin offers.
5926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: December 31, 2016, 02:37:11 PM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
Some people just prefer bitcoin over fiat simply because it is way easier to get bitcoin and to earn it the real money, from my own experience I have tried to earn some cash from the internet but with no luck.

Until I found out about bitcoin, it is true that I cannot live without fiat because it is what the world is used to , but using bitcoin is a much profitable than using my local fiat.

I think there is demand for both fiat as well as bitcoin. But when it comes to making an investment for the future, people will prefer bitcoin over fiat.
I had the same problem of making cash through internet and it was solved when I came to know about bitcoin.
5927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] vDice Ethereum Blockchain Gambling || Crowdsale is CLOSED NOW on: December 31, 2016, 02:24:17 PM
I thought at least I give a little VOTE for Vdice on this site
https://mercatox.com/coins/list
it may soon be added there, I hope that people here also help to give the vote on the trading site MERCATOX

Did it, we should all ask Bittrex to list it at: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I don't think bittrex will gladly accept vSlice and list it unless someone pays them for it. It is good see livecoin.net listing vSlice. Just buy and hold on until vSlice starts to pay dividends. Then the interest and demand for it will spike up and we can see the real power. Till then, have patience and let the devs do their work.
5928  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled? on: December 31, 2016, 10:55:44 AM
You can't make employers pay wages and salaries in Bitcoin, since they may be and most likely are legally bound to pay their employees in local fiat

well this because bitcoin is not legal accepted in those country or if anything, everywhere, and it's the same reason why merchants like amazon are not accepting it, but it may change in the future, when bitcoin will eb more recognized

you only need the government to treat bitcoin as a part of the fiat world, not an easy task though

It seems to me that if the government will consider Bitcoin as a Fiat, it will lead to tax Bitcoins. In addition, he will lose anonymity. I do not want it

I don't see any major companies paying salary in bitcoin. All Governments treat bitcoin as hostile and even if  some of them don't say it out straight, you can see it in the way how they frame regulations.
5929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why does Chinese exchange only offer BTC and LTC? on: December 31, 2016, 10:33:58 AM
The three main exchanges - OKCoin, Huobi and BTCC only offers two cryptocurrencies.

Why is that?

I think the Chinese are more into Bitcoin and Litecoin than any other Cryptos. They are the reason for pumping up bitcoin and litecoin to the levels we see now and I don't think they are done with it. They are also getting into ETH and ETC. I am expecting these exchanges to list ETC next. And we have already see ETC pumping up!
5930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: December 31, 2016, 10:01:12 AM
Good dreams guys, 3 usd is impossible, they have only invested golem right now, they need to invest more to profit, and golem is a loss, current is not even in ICO price.

Golem is not in loss I think, the ICO price was about 1300 sat but then the ETH price was double than now.

I think golem will be profitable after all the features are developed and set up running. The real strength of ICONOMI will depend upon how the investments made by them will work after 2 to 3 years or what their status is. Till then just hold and forget. Never listen to rumors or pumping/dumping stories. Wait till 2 to 3 years and then make a move.

The system is full of rules and regulations that it is not easy to simply pay out bitcoin instead of fiat currency as wages or salaries. Unless and until some nation comes out with a set of rules and regulations to SUPPORT bitcoin.
5932  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2016, 09:51:17 AM
As I predicted, psychological resistance at 1000 $ worked. Daytraders were sunny because it was quite wavy, but I do not think it will take too long. In a few days,it will sit in a narrower space and consolidate his place.

Yes. It looks like $1000 is a good resistance for bitcoin and I don't think it will be taken out today. But by January 2017, we should
see bitcoin crossing $1000 mark in style. Until then, enjoy the new year celebration!
5933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: December 31, 2016, 09:47:48 AM
$20 per DCT.

You are a optimistic person, how much did you invest in this coin? I have invested 1 bitcoin here so far, and I made some bounty here. The ICO price with 50% bonus should be 12500 sat. It means DCT=0.021 BTC=$20, I think it is not realistic right now. Maybe when it fully implements all the feature, we will see $20

Even if DECENT implements all the features and the platform runs without any issues, I still don't think $20 will be achievable. Perhaps $5.
Success would depend on how well the community uses DECENT platform. If you could share your logic of DECENT getting to $20, it would
help.
5934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: TOKES Platform Signature and Other Bounties thread on: December 30, 2016, 06:40:34 PM

thank you! spreadsheet has been updated!

Still i don't see anything about social media campaign, already we filled the forms and waiting for your update.

I think, they are planning to accept the social media campaign claims towards the end of the ICO. Till then you can actively promote
the project.
Please read the first few posts of this thread and you will get more details regarding the social media and other bounties.

5935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zdash Private Secure Transactions [bounties][Launched] on: December 30, 2016, 06:19:21 PM
Bittrex has not listed ICONOMI yet.Dont expect them to add Zdash easily

I think they didn't add ICN tokens because ICN team didn't pay Bittrex to list their tokens. Bittrex charge like almost 3 bitcoins or something just to list. I think Zdash team should focus more on developments that listing into bittrex at the moment.
5936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: December 30, 2016, 06:10:03 PM
As the slide continues... in the days of AMP...  Roll Eyes Churning the soap.

Hold on. Somethings are about to change in 2017 and I think this is a perfect moment to add more cheap AMPS for a long term. The team has already set some date for alpha release and all should go fine from now.
5937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: December 30, 2016, 05:39:22 PM

Some countries do not like the bitcoin as it can destroy their own economy due to that they do not want it in their own country..
Bitcoin cannot destroy the economy, since bitcoin is money then it is the opposite, bitcoin was created to help the economy to flourish by offering a new version of money that is the most practical yet devised by humans what it can do is to limit the power of governments.

Limiting the power of governments on controlling their own economy because of bitcoin is becoming their primary currency is indirectly destroying the economy. If bitcoin becoming just 2nd option or an alternative currency then it's definitely fine but different if bitcoin is really dominating the whole economy of a country and government can't do anything, there might be many criminalities occur due to this case and probably people will take advantages of each other

I agree. Governments always want to control the economy. Some Governments have realized that they cannot shut down bitcoin
easily as egold and alternate currencies that were developed before bitcoin.
So they try to bring in regulations and tax on bitcoin to discourage people form dealing with it.
5938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ETC] Ethereum Classic Speculation on: December 30, 2016, 05:22:57 PM
etc It must be kept, equal to the price eth

I highly doubt that. ETC seems to be gaining good support from the Chinese and Chinese can pump up the price to a whole new level.
That is what we are seeing now. We will be hearing new developments in ETC in the coming days which can take ETC to a new level.
5939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 30, 2016, 05:13:01 PM
extremely strong point of supply around 0.0187

May correct a bit, this should take at least few days before we clear it if we do. If we do that quicker, this is a huge sign that bulls are clearly stronger than bears.

Why? Is there some kind of sell wall waiting?

My prediction is that  Monero can correct to 13 ot 13.25 USD levels and then test 15 USD levels. If it can break out from 15 USD then expect higher levels. I feel it is good to buy at the present levels and wait to book profits 15 USD for traders.
5940  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: December 30, 2016, 04:59:24 PM
The future of paper money seems brighter tan ever. I see no threat to the future of paper money. Obviously most of the government is trying to introduce cashless transaction and promotion digital awareness, but that doesn't mean that paper money will be worthless.

The economy size of the country will be determined by the money available in the country physically and not electronically. So paper money will never be worthless even after 20 years.

20 years is a really small period of time, we should think about higher then that, and for sure there are chances of digital money taking over paper money in future, because every thing has to be updated once after it gets too old and now the technology has reached to the sky and i'm sure this revolution will take place too.

Paper money will be there for a long time because we haven't found a way to make internet connectivity and electricity to be available
in every part of the world. There are millions of people who are not connected to internet and are not aware of it. For them, paper currency
is the only option.
