We're finally moving up again, I see... currently $962USD (Bitcoinaverage).

A few more dollars and we'll finish January higher than we started.

Let's hope that the fact we did that despite the ridiculous panic over the PBOC rumors, and despite drastically decreased Chinese volumes, shows people that it wasn't all about China after all.

Perhaps it will be like the Silk Road bust showing that Bitcoin is much more than  a currency of contraband.


LOL The latter. I still keep musicians' hours, up at the crack of noon (or a little earlier, but not much).

If I am up extra early, I won't be drinking or partying. I'm a happy hour kind of guy. I like to get a productive day in before starting to party.

I also don't drink every day. I spent yesterday recovering from spending Sunday afternoon, evening and night celebrating the new year with Chinese friends. I've gotta learn to lay off the Jamieson's when I'm drinking beer all day.

This will not end very well, i've seen this nasty dirty trick before. That was the foundation of the last credit crisis.

Are you stoned, drunk ore high? I dont mind if you're a Classic supporter but Gravin's Classic is history, we will get Segwit+LN.

I gave many paper wallets to members of the media both local and national and 100% of them were well received.

About half had heard of bitcoin.  

Also I gave out very many brochures and plastic coins with a qr code to the website.  Some where obviously gov employees..

I will be interested to see if the web traffic has increased..

Overall it was perfect to have each of the 3 items (paper wallets, plastic coins, and the brochures!)

I made sure the plastic coins went mostly to young people and working folk however if I handed out a brochure they usually got a plastic coin too.. and obviously if a paper wallet was handed out they definitely got a plastic coin).  I also had the people selling trump hats advertising for Trumpcoin.  So many people heard the word trumpcoin as they walked by the hat stand on the 19th at least...it was really fun!  I also took the time to explain the whole deal starting with bitcoin and ending with trumpcoin each time I handed out a brochure.  This way not one was wasted.  Each time I was done explaining I got a heartfelt thank you and it seemed like the people really understood that I was letting them know about something that otherwise they never would hear about.

There was a tour group of teens and some of the "cool kids" got a handful of the plastic coins and all the rest wanted some so I handed out more.

I am waiting to hear back from some media hopefully...maybe can get an interview or two ..
