5921  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should we pay attention to when using bitcoin? on: April 27, 2018, 04:27:48 AM
There are many things that you should pay attention on while using Bitcoin. The first and foremost is the transaction fee. I have seen many cases where people have sent a huge amount of fees by mistake for a small amount of btc. The second thing is that never disclose your private to anyone and never speak about how much you own publicly. Never make any transactions on public PC (Internet Cafe) . Also, never trust any websites which says earn free BTC or some BTC in a very short time. Try differentiate between obvious scams.
5922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox BTC sale imminent. Is this the beginning of the real bear market? on: April 26, 2018, 02:52:03 PM
Well according to me the bear market is over now and it's about time where the market is starting to rise. We can already see a little spike in the current market. I believe that the market will go up slowly but steadily this time. There might be little corrections after every spike but don't mistake it as a bear market because this is how BTC works. It depreciates in price after every spike. I guess this is the time when the market begins to green.
5923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 factors that could destroy your Trading on: April 26, 2018, 02:46:02 PM
Fear is most important part here as most of the people are victimized by fear which leads to FUD and FOMO. Many people tend to loose a big amount of money because of fear. An easy way to dismiss this fear is to invest and forget about it until a particular time. No anxiousness will lead to no fear.
Adding to your list, "Lack of knowledge" about crypto is another thing which people should thrive to attain. The more knowledge you have about crypto the better analysis you will be able to make and the better selection of coin you will achieve. This will also boost up your portfolio.
5924  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life. on: April 26, 2018, 02:37:19 PM
Hello everyone.

I am new here in crypto world but I have no experience about what is the way to earn money using cryptocurrency. I was already studied few things about cryptocurrency but for me it is not enough.

I believe that all of us are have a chance to make a better life in crypto world however I don't know to start  or where I do start? Many of members here said that investing and trading are the best way to earn more profits.

Do think that trading and investing with cryptocurrency are much better to my upcoming fulltime job? Because at this time I'm just waiting for the call of my fulltime job. What are the best advice that you may give to me. should I reject the fulltime job that I've been waiting for or to go enter the world of investing and trading?

Can you share you experiences and ideas for me.

It is the great opportunity for me to read your answers.

Thank you in advance.
Don't leave your day job as it will give you a stable income. This is what most of the people including myself will advice you.  I had been planning on to have a day job as well as part time crypto since my college days. I recently got a job in an IT company and am still continuing my crypto work. Although I am not able to give as much time as I used to give but it still is an important part of my life. The earnings from crypto makes my savings sum up to a good value as a Bachelor. I think you should be following the same path as well.
P.S: You can also invest the amount you get from your day job into Crypto to get even more overall profit.
5925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Massive loss 40% underwater on: April 26, 2018, 02:32:01 PM
Got in at the height of Jan this year and all holdings lost more than half from the previous peak.

Very frustrated and was afraid that crypto will be zeroed out, so sold at massive loss more than 50%+ realized loss

After sold last week, all coins came back up 10-20%, even more frustrated, what to do?
You have done big mistakes for which you have to pay the price. The first mistake you did is that you entered the market when it was at peak. You should have made you research and analysed the market condition before investing in it. Even if you didn't understand the market condition you should not have sold it for a loss where you did your second mistake. Never sell in a loss. You should have hold on to your coins.Never invest in a coin you don't believe in. We believed in BTC and that's we hold it and see the price is rising slowly.
5926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin: I agree that Bitcoin is better than gold on: April 26, 2018, 02:27:35 PM
I hate Gold as much as I love Bitcoin. Gold being a physical asset is more prone to getting stolen. Most of the illiterate thieves tend to steal gold from the people. Bitcoin has a downside too as we know many hackers try to  steal your BTC too but stealing BTC as a tough task than to steal gold from a person.
Also the profit we make by investing in BTC is far more  better than we make by investing in Gold which is the main reason I hate it. It takes years for gold to be double in price but it just takes months for BTC to double up in price.
5927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about Bitcoin and consumer protection? on: April 26, 2018, 02:18:42 PM
how can i be sure that my money would be protected from scammers or how can i know the stability of bitcoin?

The truth is that there is no way you can be sure that your money would be protected form scammers/hackers. We can see many hacking incidents where people have lost millions of worth of cryptocurrency and it is still going on. We just have to be careful in this case and keep the private key safe and not publicly speak about how much BTC you own.
Stability of BTC is not guaranteed either because if BTC was stable then we would have not reached this price yet. The volatility of BTC is what made is price reach so high. It might go down as well as it went recently and so we must hold/trade it wisely by keeping a watch on the market.
5928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realized that I won't see the moment when the last satoshi will be extracted on: April 26, 2018, 02:07:32 PM
Today, I realized that I won't see the moment when the last satoshi will be extracted because it will be in 2140! I can't live so long)
Not only you but every member who is reading this post now won't be able to make it until that date.
The time extends to 122 years from now and it is highly unlikely for anybody to live that longer from the current generation. Who knows what will be the price of BTC at that time and whether or no it will still be  in the market or not. Chances are there that some other currency will take over it by that time.
5929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoin exchanged for btc and not for dollar on: April 25, 2018, 01:27:09 PM
We all know the Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency. It has developed a lot and it's price has also increased tremendously over the years. Most of the crypto traders use BTC which is the reason why BTC is used as  a pair for the Altcoins. It also depends on the exchanges whether they want to use BTC or USD as a pair to altcoin. There aer many exchanges which have USD pair markets and other Altcoins like ETH and BCH are also used as pairs. The point that altcoins' price is related to BTC is true but then if the price will during BTC's depreciation then it will also increase when BTC goes high.
5930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i want to ask about bounty programs is it worthy&paying. on: April 25, 2018, 01:20:34 PM
I was in your shoes when i joined this forum and I am really happy I joined this forum. It has been  a long journey now and  a great experience. I have learnt many things which I will be remembering through out my life. It has really changed my life for good. I have earned a decent amount of money by joining various campaigns over the time including signature and bounty campaigns. Yes they are worth it and will earn you a good amount of money but there are some things you should know and they are;

Not every ICO would be legit. Hence you won't be able to earn good money from every campaign.
You might earn a little from some campaign and more from the other and there might be instances when you get nothing. So be ready for that.
You might not be able to earn any money in the beginning but as you continue your journey towards the campaigns you will find yourself in a world full of opportunities to make money. Wink
5931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: April 25, 2018, 01:13:12 PM
Hundreds of new ICOs keep on launching very month and it is known from research that 80% of the ICOs which get launched in a year are fake or never get listed on any exchanges. So we have to be careful in choosing an ICO whether to take part in it's bounty program or to invest in it.  ICOs do ask for KYC but they ask it from the investors and not from the bounty participants. Atleast until now I have not come across any ICO which had asked for KYC form its bounty participants. So you must have known it from that itself that it was going to be a scam. I am sorry for your loss but you have to be more careful in choosing an ICO.
5932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Exchange to use? on: April 24, 2018, 03:19:21 PM
I think most of the traders here know the popular exchanges Binance and Bittrex as they provide a better security than any other crypto exchange. They have better interface and has greater credibility when it comes to trust. Poloniex once had a good name but later turned out to give many issues to many people. It is now owned by some other company and unless the dev don't change the way it works it is not advised to use it. Many other exchanges like hitbtc, livecoin, yobit, cryptopia have had issues with some people in the past and so it is safer to use the exchanges with better security. So Binance and Bittrex would be best ones to start trading with.
5933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How helpful do you think it would be trading on a multiple exchanges... on: April 24, 2018, 03:12:40 PM
Well I think this might be helpful for people who find it difficult to manage multiple accounts on different exchanges. Nowadays , many IT driven companies are trying to implement AI for business purposes. Implementing AI in crypto might open new opportunities for the people. The app will surely provide easy access towards the exchanges but there is another problem that I think can create a big issue if not handled accurately. We can see many people getting hacked these days and losing their cryptocurrencies. If a hacker gets hold of your credentials then not only 1 but you might lose coins from all the exchanges you have connected with your app. So this has to be handled efficiently by the app developer.
5934  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin has returned above $9,000 for the first time since March!! on: April 24, 2018, 03:01:00 PM
Who won't be happy seeing BTC rise in price. Me along with many others had been waiting for so long for BTC to cross the $8k target. Now that it has crossed $8k with good stability, the next target of $12k should be not harder to achieve. This might be a sign that BTC has started to recover and if it is so then the ATH might soon be crossed. I expect the ATH to be crossed before the year ends. As per the experts the next ATH is considered to be at $25k . If BTC reaches this price then I don't think anybody would want to miss the opportunity to buy BTC at the current price.
5935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: April 24, 2018, 02:50:43 PM
It is possible but it would take a good amount of time for BTC to become a globally accepted form of payment method. It is surely sparkling out in the mode of an asset since it has reached a price of $9k(current price) from almost nothing. This has attracted many IT industries to accept it as a source of payment but it's volatility and high fees is creating issues to many people. Unless and until the issues gets fixed , I don't think it will be reliable to use BTC as a payment method.
5936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look for in a New Project? on: April 24, 2018, 04:23:00 AM
The first and foremost thing I would personally look in the ICO would be the idea and concept behind their project. For me, any project that doesn't have any good idea behind it would not survive in the long run and hence it would be useless to invest the money in it. Great ideas are likely to succeed and get a better response from the public.  I would definitely research and find out the team and developers because if a team doesn't have good developers , then it is pretty likely to go in a decline. Good developers create a better product which results in a greater response from the public.
5937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The idea of hold coin (hold to die) is killing you - TIPS TIPS TIPS on: April 23, 2018, 01:33:20 PM
if you are a holder, it is a bad thing to hold to die. Hold coin ( hold to die )  blindly express :

1. You are a person who does not know anything about the market. You do not know the market analysis. You do not know when to uptrend and downtrend to sell to maximize profits or avoid losses. It is the lack of knowledge of a holder.
2. As an investor you have to know about the market and the most important thing is to make a profit. It's not speculation, it's the knowledge of an investor. You have to understand a growth cycle. It usually has uptrend and downtrend. If you are a holder. you must determine this cycle to maximize profit, but do not hold to die.

You should :

-Understand the long-term trend of BTC
-Know the bottom of a coin
-Determine when stoploss if you lose less than 10% on the purchase price.
-Sell when you are profitable
-Patience in buying, selling fast and buying slowly.
-Hold coin is not always good,, you should have the knowledge about chart to maximize profits
I would agree to few of your points and disagree the rest. I agree that "Just Holding" the coins won't be sufficient as we might be losing good opportunities to make more money. We have to  keep the trading active but then not everybody was born intelligent. The first thing that matters is the speculation. Nobody can accurately predict the prices of crypto. One can still take the risks but the people who don't want to take the risks are the ones who just keep on holding for a long term. Apart from that we cannot assure that every attempt we make to maximize profit would result in a success. So let us just leave to the people whether they want to hold or speculate.
5938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: April 23, 2018, 01:25:15 PM
What I can suggest you avoid this situation is to sell partial quantity and keep some then you can get a chance to sell at higher if prices go again high.

Also, if you have made already enough profit from your investment then we shouldn't worry about these things because we can't always time the market. Now you need to find other good coins to invest and make more profit.
Yes Exactly ! This is the best strategy to tackle this situation. I know it must feel horrible to lose such an opportunity to make good money. I have faced it quite a few times too. Most of the traders would have gone through this phase. The best way to tackle this is to sell the coins in a little portion so that we don't miss out the peaks and still have an opportunity to sell more at higher peaks.Even if the price goes down, just hold it for good because it will surely go up again.
5939  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Europe Wants To Know Who You Are? on: April 23, 2018, 01:16:24 PM
I don't think this would cause any problem to anybody. If you want to stay anonymous, you can still be that. You will just have to find an alternate method to withdraw the amount you have. Not only Europe but many other countries have tried to regulate crypto as well so that they can collect tax from the people. I consider it as a fee to legalize crypto Grin because as long as it is regularized, it is legalized in your country and there are no FUDs related to ban on crypto.
5940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining in public places 😓 on: April 23, 2018, 01:10:27 PM
I would say that mining in public places is completely a waste of time. Mining requires a good hardware and a suitable surrounding for the mining to be efficient. Public places don't have any of these which makes it completely a waste of time. Apart from that CPU mining as they call it when you mine through a PC or a laptop, is not at all worthy nowadays since the overall profit is almost nothing. So mining in public places just to save a few bucks for the electricity is the worst idea I have ever heard.
