Greetz, your Bitcoin sponsor

!!!!! And guys because i am offering free money and there is no two-sided bet, i wont use this escrow. You are all essentially freerolling with nothing really at stake. I will guaranteed pay out this competition and it will go to someone that did not doubt me and participated in this freeroll. Skeptics after that point will be silent and will only look more foolish. Cant blame people for being distrustful on these forums but im not going to great lengths to prove my sincerity as I feel no obligation to do so. So participate and make a guess or stand by the sidelines and be a skeptic. But dont sow any seeds of doubt, we have enough of that here already when some of the fudsters crawl out again

If you're planning on splitting the prize in the event that nobody selects the proper date, then why not allow multiple selections of the same date? Alternatively, if nobody selects the right day then nobody wins...

Also, I still recommend creating a new thread for the game.

5942  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people become vegan? on: July 20, 2017, 01:51:41 AM
Just wondering, why do people become vegan. Is this because of health, ethics or something else?
So many different reasons:

Some people don't like the idea of killing animals for meat.
Some people don't like eating meat because they don't want to be fat.
Others for religions beliefs too Grin

Simply eating meat doesn't make one fat.
5943  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people become vegan? on: July 19, 2017, 07:44:46 PM
Much healthier food. Can cleanse you but most have allergens. I believe plants are sentient in some form.

If plants are sentient, how does one kill them humanely before consuming?

It's getting near my bedtime but I'm sleeping alone tonight and we're getting so close to $2300 I can't stop watching.

Damn you Bitcoin.  Grin

I've noticed your "Good morning Bitcoinland" is getting later and later these days.  Make sure 'n get that beauty sleep.  What good will all your riches be if you're not healthy enough  to enjoy it?  Shocked

5947  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teen Vogue USA: what you need to know on anal sex on: July 16, 2017, 01:30:45 PM
That's a bit much. What's next, the protein benefits of swallowing?

Without public social taboo's, with an "anything goes" attitude, we become jaded to everything. And that is advancing the human condition? I think not.

On the lighter side, teen pregnancy rates might drop.

Probably.  They already did an article on this:

Some reasonable support around 2k, but below the orderbook is tiny, then the drop probably will be quick.

The orderbook doesn't seem tiny to me and I'm bearish.

And I'm sure, at least for your mother's part, that it's fortunate you studied biology.

Not so fortunate, as my training in biology resulted in her plastination.

That's just scary.  I hope you at least waited until she died of natural causes.

Well well,

called the downfall hours before it happens, named a loser by other early investers.

Who is the loser now huh? x3 my coins very soon.

Dude! Who called you a loser?  Nobody in this thread.

5951  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of bitcoin on: July 15, 2017, 12:09:12 PM
What the hell do you mean, personally if they spilt up it will fail? That makes no sense.

let me translate it for you, maybe it helps understanding what OP means:
"I have sold my coins recently at $2200 and am now wishing and also desperately trying with this topic to see a much lower price so i can buy back what i've sold

here is a little more help: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2020368.0 and this was posted yesterday meaning he sold at ~$2200

If anything, we are already there

Right now Bitcoin price goes down and is already well below 2,100 dollars per coin (at least, at Bitfinex). And personally, I would be surprised if it doesn't go below the 2,000 dollar mark and stay above that figure in the coming days. I don't believe in the split myself, but if it should come about I'm with the OP here, that it will most likely mean the end of Bitcoin, and if not Bitcoin itself as a coin but certainly the end of the Bitcoin era. Anyway, it should still happen one day, so why not today or tomorrow?

That's how it started

That's how it ended

The James Cameron movie "Titanic" netted over $2Billion at the box office.  I guess we'd better get working on the movie rights for "Bitcoin".  We'll have to monetize this behemoth another way!

5952  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of bitcoin on: July 15, 2017, 03:29:34 AM
Back to 1000-1500 range

U pro's even chart ?

image redacted for brevity

No but I read somewhere something about a chart.  I heard it's going to split in two when Bitcoin moons.
5953  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of bitcoin on: July 15, 2017, 03:24:10 AM
What the hell do you mean, personally if they spilt up it will fail? That makes no sense.

They aren't splitting. Does a photocopy of a piece of paper mean you ripped it in half? Now if you continue writing the story and your friend writes a different version of a story is that a split? Nope.. Duurrrr

AND if you play your cards right, you can be the lead in both stories too Wink
5954  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of bitcoin on: July 15, 2017, 03:21:21 AM
I read somewhere that bitcoin is splitting up in 2 different chains?
Thats why the price is tanking to 50% of its marketcap.
Personally if bitcoin split up it will fail.
Time to get out boys and girls.
It was a fun little experiment.

If the price goes to 50% of BTC's market cap, then were are going far beyond MOON! How would that be considered "tank"?

Wow! USD$22 BILLION per coin.  WHOO!!

...wait, do you have any proofs?

5955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2017, 12:31:02 AM
Actually, they don't say it; Job said it.

"Naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I shall return thither.  The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away.  Blessed be the name of the Lord."

As an aside, my training in biology suggests this shouldn't be attempted.

And I'm sure, at least for your mother's part, that it's fortunate you studied biology.
5956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 14, 2017, 05:51:25 PM
What's that they say about when the Lord giveths?  Undecided

Actually, they don't say it; Job said it.

"Naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I shall return thither.  The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away.  Blessed be the name of the Lord."

Edit: The lesson here was that Job did not lose his faith in God and his life ends 140 years later being more prosperous than ever.

do you guys know basic mining? Can someone share a knowledge about it?

I have intimate knowledge of basic mining.

Here's a post I made about the thread title being changed as well as the thread being moved:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1464223.0 (it's actually not in the Turkish forum anymore but has been moved to archive)

The title has been changed from it's original but here is the Basic Mining thread.
