E-games are not to be trusted, they change betting odds as they see fit,
Decentralized/crypto platforms are a good place to start, if their code is fully reviewed, none of the game mechanics can be changed, hence you can find more fairness here
You can find some here

Not really. There are many casinos I know that have Provably Fair mechanism in place so bets cannot be altered by the server. And a handful have started using BTC recently.

Nigeria and Instant money.

Only I get the feeling of Nigerian prince. Cheesy

400 grand waiting to be released into your bank account, don't miss the chance! Cheesy
5943  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you spend money on online game items on: December 11, 2019, 01:22:35 PM
back in early 2000's when i was addicted to games,i am spending half of my monthly wages just to buy all the things i need for leveling my account ,including Sets and accessories.and all of the sudden after 9 years of playing that damn game shut down.

you know the feeling?i think all gamers can felt what i am saying here.

from that day forward?i stop playing games that need to spend money, all games i am playing now is free and don't need even single cent to enjoy.

Can feel ya mate, happened many times to me before.

What's the kicker is that a game goes F2P and those who paid for it are the suckers.
5944  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Are you a citizen of the world? on: December 11, 2019, 01:20:00 PM
I'd say yes to all four, although I don't have deep pockets to travel to several countries at once.
5945  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Making money with BOTs! Good or Evil? on: December 11, 2019, 01:18:05 PM
I think u both understand it a little bit wrong. I'm not talking about bots as followers/Subs - I mean bots as tool to promote someone.
It's all about the reach and this ends up with more or less real people as followers/Subs.

Oh, we did get the wrong impression that it's something like buying followers.

So it's like some automated feature to manage your account(s) postings, if I'm not mistaken?
5946  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reality of Merit on: December 11, 2019, 01:09:10 PM
It is definitely difficult at beginnings. Everyone do feel it challenging at their beginnings, but if they manage to go through the very first challenging phase, they will do become more familiar with merit system, and know which kind of posts can help them to earn merits. Then, they will feel very more comfortable with merit system and challenges to rank up.

Unfortunately, from the mid-ranks (Senior member and above) the challenges are significant bigger and such huge challenges can drain out their desire to rank up. This stage, ones who can maintain their habits will do successfully rank up.

Can relate to that. During the early stages, we see the signature campaigns and then force ourselves to fish for merits because it's like free money. Other than that, the appeal isn't really there.
5947  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: December 11, 2019, 12:03:28 PM

If I won a lottery of even 1 million, I would put all of it in a bank and just live on the interest. For me, the lambo is exactly going to do that. 200k $ even if I only earn 4% interest a year is 8k USD a year. That is already MORE than my yearly salary in my country! And every year like you, it will be worth more and more because my currency sucks.

I would basically be able to quit my job and start a business. And never touch the 200k. So I'm totally with you!

How many % is your country's bank FD interest, by average?
5948  Other / Meta / Re: Which rank can we trust really? on: December 11, 2019, 11:00:34 AM
I'd want to trust Satoshi, but he pulled a Houdini Sad
5949  Other / Meta / Re: I'm running for becoming the new Trading Discussion Moderator on: December 11, 2019, 07:41:38 AM

No idea. Varies as I have a full time job, part time education, and on call for mountain rescue 24/7 so it gets interrupted, and because of those reasons its hard to monitor the hours. Although, in the new year I should have a little more time! I'd say a couple of hours, but a lot of that is also posting here. Reports are something I do when I need a break from work.

When I was reporting I was spending probably 4-6 hours a day. I'd like to see a return of these hours during christmas break, and continue that into the new year.

There's far more active staff members than me. The global moderators are killing it.

Damn, that's one hell of a schedule. And having colleagues being on standby 24/7, I can imagine how much emotional toll it takes on you.
5950  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Self made Legendary on: December 11, 2019, 07:37:37 AM
2 years to a Legendary? Damn, that's very impressive and keep it up!

Meanwhile I'll just slowly take my time to rank up to Full Member, hopefully one day Cheesy
5951  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk posting etiquette on: December 11, 2019, 07:16:40 AM
One more important thing to add, don't simply leave negative reputation(s) unless you don't mind receiving them in return as a form of revenge, unless you're a scam victim or the recipient really deserved it.

5952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I earned my first merit How to use it. on: December 11, 2019, 07:14:26 AM
As we are speaking right now, OP has 5 Merits so that's like 2 and a half Cheesy
5953  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | The Honest Online Casino | Hop In On The Action 🦘 on: December 10, 2019, 05:39:37 PM
Just randomly messing about on the site like the casual that Iam and testing games, found this game producing some pretty extreme odds.  Maybe I just stumbled along at the right time, kinda bonkers though ?

If you've played or observed lots of crash games, there's no limit to how high the multipliers can go. I've seen 5 figures before, albeit rare.
5954  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Favorite Bitcoin exchange? on: December 10, 2019, 09:52:12 AM
I've stopped trading Bitcoin but in terms of simplicity and convenience, Remitano.

The 1% taker fee is pretty steep though.
5955  Other / Meta / Re: I'm running for becoming the new Trading Discussion Moderator on: December 10, 2019, 03:16:40 AM
@Welsh, how many hours do you usually spend handling reports and discussions on Bitcointalk a day?
5956  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: December 10, 2019, 03:01:57 AM
Just imagine on how far freebitco.in made already to have such prize. Clearly getting in earlier has an advantage. They came in community early and became the most famous faucet site. Some faucet got burn already because it's not profitable anymore for owner amd for people but not this site. HI LO game is really a hooker even before and even more when they add jackpot, etc. Now they came into this scene. I know how hard to get it since that prize is really something. Even harder to get than the famous dice site jackpot that I know.

Along with the time advantage, they've more to offer compared to a pure faucet site. Lottery, tickets, multiply and a tiered Satoshi system.

Others only provide two-digits Sats max while spamming ads like no tomorrow, while FBC never did that.
5957  Other / Meta / Re: Be polite on: December 10, 2019, 02:48:59 AM
Oh, the irony. Telling people to be polite while mocking long hodlers eh?

Quote from: Mealea
Why do you refuse to face the reality of the present state of the crypto market? I always laugh when I see people still talking about long term hodl when the reality is staring us in the face. Don't be a fool, only the smart are leading the race in the crypto sphere of today. Why do you decide to hodl when you know that the price may dump? Why not sell at the peak and then you can buy back at the bottom. The race is not to the fool but to the wise. Selling at the peak and buying back at bottom is wisdom but holding at the peak expecting a magic spike is foolishness. Bull run is not here yet, do not expect a magic spike. When the bull run is here, you don't need a prophet to tell you that. Be smart.

Preying on typos (or typosquatting) is pretty common. I remembered over a decade ago there was this YouTube video that showed a goggle.com instead of google.com caused a slew of virus infections, although I'm unsure how they sprung out right away.
5959  Other / Meta / Re: Inappropriate negative trusts and feedback. Please avoid. on: December 10, 2019, 02:28:24 AM
That neg feedback is pretty petty IMHO.

But in the end, it's up to Match to personally deal with that fella. A simple apology should do the trick.
5960  Other / Meta / Re: Should you be able to lock your account for a time. on: December 09, 2019, 06:21:33 PM
I have seen that on an another forum, the members are able to ask a moderator to lock their account for some time. The purpose to do this is to ensure that the member remains away from the forum and is able to control his wish to login on the forum again and again.

Allowing such a feature would mean additional burden on the moderators who already seem to be occupied with various other duties.

I wonder if the staffs are willing to comply with such requests.

Might get the standard, "Why not just log out of Bitcointalk?" kind of replies though.
