I see most people here prefer to gamble on their mobile phone or tablet. For me, it really depends on the game I play. If just want to relax and play some casual dice games, the tablet is totally fine. But when playing PVP games like poker, I prefer to sit at my desktop PC.
Having 2 monitors is just so much more comfortable when playing in online casinos. Especially when playing mutliple poker tournaments at once, the phone and tablet screens are just too small. Also forcing me to sit properly on a chair than just laying on a couch makes me concentrate more and makes my game better.
Gambling with huge sums of money on the couch  on my android phone just seems wrong to me  nothing is better than a good desktop setup.

If you are not an expert in the field or have insider information don't try to find the perfect sell or buy price. Timing is one of the hardest things about trading and investing. Better just to split your buy/sell orders in smaller chunks and try to execute them over time. The average price you achieve should be much better.

Also, if you invest in a good crypto currency like BTC, just try a buy and hold approach. Forget about your coins for a few weeks and dont check the prices of your portfolio every day.

Who knows how the world will look like after the corona pandemic. Before the crisis I enjoyed going to a casino and spend a evening there, but not even gambling so much in terms of $$$, overall I definitely spend more time and money in online casinos. Just much more comfortable to do it from your couch at home.
With the crisis we see now that economcy still works when most people are working from home. I think that people start to realize that they don't need to travel so far to have fun. In the future we might see the growth of online casinos keep continuing and much less people actually spending time in real casinos. I think more Player vs Player games would be nice to see around. For example more variations of poker, or blitz chess could be nice with some ranking system and leadersboards. Competitiveness is part of the humans nature, you always compare yourself with the guy next to you. It would definitely be more fun to play against humans than just against the casino.

Also, you would be less afraid of scam casinos as you are playing against other humans. The casino would just take a fixed % of the pot played and you don't have to worry so much about rigged odds.

I agree, gambling  is mostly based on luck whereas in trading you should rely more on you valuation skills. It will be hard to find a gambling strategy that is continiously making you money - which would mean the casino is losing. Eventually the casino would fix any flaws in their games or go bust.

In trading you view your asset based on on your own analysis and valuations, if the market price is above your predictions, you have the option to short the stock. In gambling you can only stop playing, but to take the other side you would have to run your own casino.

I think the news about Bill Gates greating the corona virus is just a hoax from the flat earthers.

First of all, why would he have done it, to vaccine everyone with a chip? There isn't even a cure for the virus around yet. Would have make more sense to develop an antidote first and then spread the virus.

Second, why originate the virus in Wuhan? If he wanted to infect China, there are much more densely populated areas with more tourism to spread the virus in China effectively. Also he would have waited for the new years fest to come around, no spread it in December. But honestly, if his target was USA all along. Why not originate the virus in New York and LA?

There were SARS infections before in China without Bill Gates involvement.

As a non USA citizen I don't think I can be signing this. Even though I agree with you that people (not only police officers) who don't intervene should be held accountable, we should be working more on the fight against racism, than just throw all people in jail. People need to learn and understand, not rot in a cell all their life.  Let's not forget, these were individual people with their own beliefs, not all police offericers are racist.

And saying that the riots are justified in general is crazy - I am all for non violent protests. But whats the point in looting and burning down stores of people who had nothing to do with that crime, who might even be not white. As soon as the protests  start violent the police has to intervene. You can't be asking for people to follow the law and put murders in jail, but then not obeying and destroying lifelihoods of innocent people for your own personal gain. Having a new TV at home you robbed from a store doesn't bring back George Floyd.

Why would people buy the digital currency of a communist state? The hole point of Bitcoins was to be decentralized without the controlling governments affecting the money suppls.  I hardly believe that investors are buying now in a currency of a hands-on regime regime like China - maybe their own population but no one else would be so foolish.

As long as the Yuan is not freely traded - and who can guarantee that except the chinese government - but who would believe that?

I think now with the corona crisis countries are rethinking globalization and the hunt for the lowest production cost around the world. China is only powerful as long as the  world is buying there cheap products. Once the trade stops the global power of china will deminish again.

I agree, higher payout ratios with less variane is definitely more relaxed to play. I played slot machines in Europe and in USA and prefer the ones in the States much more. The buy in is not as high and also the variance seems overall lower. So in the end it's more time you can play.

And in Europe, if you only play a couple of rounds and all your money is gone, it's kinda sad. I would never expect a huge win from a slot machine it's more about fun playing the game.
