5941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: September 04, 2019, 06:27:35 AM
I never bet on Politics, I do like betting on "events" such as the Eurovision Song Contest for example and have made some good money there - simply because it cannot be compared to "usual" sports betting and the bookies dont have as much information - value all the way Smiley
Well you cant bet on the bookie's knowledge that much unless you them personally. I dont but you might be talking about your local bookie, but what I know is that never consider the bookie as less knowledgeable that you because it is a good bluff to get gamblers into betting. A bookie would not open their shop if they were going to lose more.

Well, I don't play politics bet because political position is not something that is on a regular basis and in as much as I am a gamblers I only concentrate on the one I know how to do best and not to be jack of all trades and Master of none.
I would say that political competitions are often biased and logically made. Although the concept of paid winning of politics is not proven in many elections - it will never be so, I feel this is more of a marketing attempt by many casinos than any real excitement of sports betting.
5942  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Battle for Binance Futures: The Futures Are in Your Hands! on: September 04, 2019, 06:22:31 AM
They are following the markets of futures which is currently captured by bitmex and all other "wittyname"-mex out there. Grin

Binance already has a huge following and not to mention their notoriety about being one of the biggest listing fee asking exchanges out there. Well you cannot deny the fact altcoins shills and bots make these exchanges grow to a huge following, which ends up culminating into this. Poaching over other markets just because "they are doing it so we will too".
5943  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advice needed on which exchange to use to buy Bitcoin on: September 04, 2019, 06:19:31 AM
Just want to thank everyone for all the advice that's been posted in answer to my query. Sorry I haven't replied earlier; it's my first post on here and I thought I would get notifications to my email of replies sent but it seems that you don't get notifications.

This might help : Go to "profile">Notifications and Email(in the left sidebar) > Check the boxes that you need.

So you bought a hardware wallet but you didnt buy your first bitcoin yet? Thats new to me because most of the people first end up getting some bitcoin from some source or other and then look out for secure ways of keeping those coins, majority are people who are putting their money in the future value of bitcoin and altcoins.

You might want to check out the local rules and regulation about crypto first before you start buying anything. In many countries bitcoin is not clearly legal, although they cannot do anything about it. Grin
Next thing would be to find an exchange that accepts your local currency. If you are going to trade p2p make sure to use a trusted escrow. Always be safe and never send first to anybody asking you to do so unless you trust them completely. Remember that once you have send someone some coins they are irreversibly transferred.
5944  Economy / Exchanges / Re: NEED SOME EXCHANGE REVIEW on: September 04, 2019, 06:12:48 AM

The people who posted above have already answered this. I have something to add for the next question.

Quote
Are their IEOs legit?
Generally speaking I do not consider IEOs to be legit. It all started with the ICO buzz then people felt scammed when the devs and advisors dumped their tokens and abandoned the project with the investors having no one to sue. So they rebranded it as STO which also has no difference and now we have IEOs.

So there is no straight answer as yes or no. But do your own research about what project the money is being raised for. Majority of the times they are nothing better than a quick dump at 5-10% gains if not more. No use holding those coins as well. So do your own research and if the project never gets listed on any other exchange then you can say bye bye to your money.
5945  Other / Meta / Re: Prediction of sport games on: September 03, 2019, 06:50:43 PM
Many of posts are not even related to gambling. They are some discussions about football matches and players that are not related to prediction and gambling. Such posts should be removed or should be discussed in "Off-topic".
If you feel a post is offtopic, you should report that post as a member of this forum. Thats what we all can do in order to control the spam in Gambling Discussion because a lot of the posts there are offtopic and posted by those who need to post to get their post counts done for their signatures. Some posts are worth quoting and discussing which I try to do but 99% of the times I never get any reply in any thread in such threads.

Talking about predictions threads though they are often having a good discussion going on even if you do feel that some post is offtopic, just report it.
5946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: September 03, 2019, 03:16:40 PM
security that you don't have to worry leaving any amount to your account..that you are sure that anytime you want to go back, your funds are intact.
also responsiveness of the support staff is a big plus for the site
Let me remind you that being able to store funds in a vault system is a good thing but this should not be considered to be an alternative to wallets. You should always store coins in your personal wallet.

Besides if you ever see your funds missing then you are being scammed, specially if its some casino you never heard of before, but obviously you will have done some research before betting there.

Having a responsive support team is one of the backbones of the brand name of any casino. I hope every new casino names recruits a good team for this purpose.
5947  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: September 03, 2019, 03:13:07 PM
it would be wise if we risked capital not at every moment. However, I have seen a lot of evidence of payments and money they receive from investments, crypto is also a very risky investment, but that sometimes becomes a challenge for investing. it's true that there are no real rewards here.
True, but it is same for stocks, bonds, commodities and any other market where speculation drives the price. Organic growth is a rule that will happen always with bitcoin but there will be times when the prices will fall. Its not something to worry about but a time to buy more coins for yourself. Its better not to look for other coins to put your money in in order to get rich quickly because that does not happen.

Sometimes the prizes in the bounty campaign are destroyed by scam projects ... there are even many that don't meet expectations ... but here's an investment ...
Dont narrow your focus to only bounties. There are many other ways to getting coins too. The biggest one being simply buying them.
5948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who is to be blame? BM or BH on: September 03, 2019, 02:52:23 PM
Making agreement with BHs and saying they will pay 3% of total number of tokens, changing payment after bounty is finished and paying less than 3% is scamming BHs.
You are not reading my lines properly. The reason this forum's altcoins section run is because we have these bounty campaigns.

Since you are looking for an "Argument" of why bounties are not jobs then it it because it is not. Accept it or not is not my problem. Try telling your next door neighbor about this "You know my job is to post in a forum and I get paid for that to pay for my daily bread" - you will get nothing but contempt from their face and they will simply laugh at you for being a bottomfeeder. Not that this applies to everyone but most of the 3rd world people in this forum make a living out of it and I guess they get an "itch" on their butt when someone talks bad about it. Grin

Also a team does not guarantee any payment, I am not sure why you dont understand this but this is true and its not a scam because it was already declared by the manager since the start of the campaign.
5949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who is to be blame? BM or BH on: August 31, 2019, 03:17:45 PM

A bounty campaign is not a job. Stop thinking about bounties as small time jobs with fixed payments like those in real life they are not so and this wrong thinking process leads to this type of accusations being made even if he bounty manager is a person who is leninent enough to make sure everyone gets paid. You guys dont think from both sides and take into account only your own part.

Firstly the payment is never fixed like a "bartender" - it will vary according to amount raised.

If no amount is raised them you will get nothing for whatever you do unless the bounty manager is generous enough to give some money from their own pocket - this things often remain unspoken of and the hunters never ponder over them because they are selfish about their own gains only.

if they arent , whats the purpose of calling them alternative coins ?
Just a fancy name that the devs who wanted to make it popular came up with and then gained a following because nobody is willing to question them. Roll Eyes

5952  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting small loan on: August 31, 2019, 08:40:48 AM
I understand, I am able todo a FaceTime verification? If anybody can help me out would appreciate it. Thank you for the consideration.
Sorry for intervening, I know the question is directed to DS, but I am sure they would agree to my comment as well.

Revealing your face is not equivalent in any sense to a valid collateral. No type of law enforcement in this world would accept that in case you run away with the money and the lender only has that video call to trace you. Moreover what is the proof that the person who will be showing their face is going to be the person being sent the money?

You may wish to pull this argument even more, but the short answer here is that you wont get a loan with a valid collateral here. If you are in dire need of money, pawn some valuable at a bank.
5953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin, a future is not clear on: August 31, 2019, 08:35:48 AM
my point is, "Buy BTC by unnecessary Money not by Land/House sell's money"
I get your point but this is not the case with many people here. Those who are bullish on the future price of bitcoin dont really take into account the expenditure behind their investments. This is risky though and not advisable.

What you said - "unnecessary money" -- this is a oxymoron. Because money is never unnecessary unless you are living in a lap of luxury where you a lot of ancestral inheritance to waste on. So finding out some cash good enough to buy bitcoin with is often frustrating for a common man. Still my point is that we should keep aside some cash to buy coins everytime the market dips upto a limit that is sustainable.
5954  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 29 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: August 31, 2019, 08:31:17 AM
Prove that Primedice has a heart because they can help some charity like giving donation to them. With that amount that Primedice team gave it is big help to the people who really need most. This gambling site are not selfish because some of their profit they got from the people is back again for the people who don't afford to buy their needs by doing a donations keep doing this and the your team will be bless.
Compared to other "popular" casinos who are only interested to make money for themselves primedice stands out to be an organization involved in philanthropy. This allows them to make a bigger impact on lives that matter and earn respect in the eyes of their competitors and general public. Everyone can become a part of the voting that takes place on the primedice forum and the social media channels. So make sure to join primedice and the forum and keep an eye out for the next donation.  Smiley
5955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: August 31, 2019, 08:25:55 AM
If you are doing some freelancing and trading you should know how to manage your time. Freelancing is something target oriented and often your clients will have strict deadlines, which you have to follow religiously. Trading however is also going to need some effort from your side to learn the basics and to analyze markets for a few years at least, followed by dummy trading on any exchange that allows you to deposit with local currency.

You wont make money immediately from trading, on the contrary, you may just lose more at the initial phase because you are learning.
5956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: August 31, 2019, 08:22:03 AM
Casino marketing bait is really effective it gives them more people as a volunteer victim. However I think it is still in the person's personality. I lived in a place where gambling happens in every corner of the street where casinos aren't involved yet most of them are still a victim of addiction. Therefore it is just to say that "The easy money scheme" mindset is the real source of this issue
Well said, those who have a lesser control over their mind or are retarded to understand logic would be tempted to go for gambling more than a logically sound person. Being able to fool people is one of the essence of good marketing and advertisement and whenever you need to fool someone you need to blunt their logical thinking which is a tough thing to do.

The easy money scheme is an irony because money is never easy and neither is it free. But you can see that sites have faucets which gives out some free chips to play with. Thats also a part of their advertising. Cheesy
5957  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade war Influences on cryptocurrency on: August 31, 2019, 08:17:12 AM
If the trade war gets messy, traders will have to short the USD and save their money by investing in something that is more valuable and that won't be affected by the USA-China trade war. Some fund definitely will flow to bitcoin and this will bring more liquidity to the market. We can't be too sure about this, but people will certainly avoid fiat as much as they can.
This seems more like a politics discussion than about bitcoin. Though I understand most of the these opinions but in the end both sides have to accept some sort of truce.

We humans often fight about our difference but in the end we have to help each other because we depend on each other. So these "wars" are just temporary. Try to project your views for what happens once the agreement has been reached for import and export. That will happen even if you think it wont. At that point bitcoin movement would become unpredictable.
5958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 31, 2019, 08:14:39 AM
Gambling itself is a profession but not many people who can live out from gambling because they cannot always win from the games.
The only people who make money from gambling are the owners of the casino, the bookie and the affiliate marketing agents. They are not gambling directly and depending on the income from the house.

Since people cannot control their urge to gamble on and on, they will constantly getting paid for their work without seeing any risk. Although the house makes money continuously, they do lose money when a high roller wins big. But then that money does not stay in the players hands for long because they become greedy and play again only to be busted.
5959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Still In a Bear Market, But What About Bitcoin??? on: August 31, 2019, 07:41:10 AM
Altcoins are never meant to be "alternative to bitcoin". They are inherently shitcoins created by by devs who are jealous of bitcoin's acceptance and they wish to market their own version of coins to the public because they have vision that supports it. Every other shitcoin you wish will be having this feature. But whats funny is that after a few years of release the devs themselves abandon the project.

Since we have no physical evidence about who the dev was - it was intentional scam, the dev can now operate in a new persona to create another shitcoin. This cycle continues and the scammers money from it selling away their shitcoin share when it goes up and hten abandon it leaving a group of shills talking to themselves. No wonder the altcoin market is having a bad time.
5960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hivereck arbitrage trading bot (advertising) on: August 30, 2019, 11:39:18 AM
How can I be sure that you will not stole my assets through your bot?
There is no way for any user to verify this unless the bot is open source and you know how to de-compile and check that. What you can do is check out any reviews on the internet even though they may be paid reviews but well known bots like GunBot have a reputable following and can be used safely. Newly released bots which do not have an open source code are always frowned upon. In short do your own research.
