where can I order one?

I don't think that they can be ordered right now. The online pre-orders have been closed and everyone who had did that got their devices. Don't know when they will resume selling the device.
Well, I pre-ordered back on 8-9-13 and still haven't gotten mine yet. When this thread popped up I took note and emailed the Trezor people and not even a peep back from them in about a month. Any ideas?

I would take either refund options. BTC is preferred.

Same here. At this point, anything is better than nothing. I'd just like to close this chapter to the early adopter learning curve w/ something in the til.

Is there an ETA on when the pre-orders ship?
5965  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My new TREZOR on: April 02, 2014, 05:25:52 PM
Glad to see these finally are a go and yes, they look fantastic. Just curious as to when my pre-order (8-9-13) will arrive? Should also check your emails from time to time. Wink

Likely a ploy to get weak hands to exit so the top dogs can scoop up the final layer of cheap coins before the bull rush upwards. Last call, folks. Wink

A BFL little single, mining contracts (some haven't panned out; thanks HashFast) and a trezor that still hasn't shipped 7.5 months later. Cheesy

Are you going to rebuy shares from those who don't want to migrate to ciphertrade?

Users will need to exit their positions on Ciphertrade.com if they do not wish to continue holding our asset. We do not have any intention of personally managing a pass through. We cannot stop anyone wishing to become a broker, however we ourselves will be operating through Ciphertrade. It is up to the due diligence of users to verify that any such broker does indeed hold shares on Ciphertrade.
I plan on continuing to hold the shares that I have but I just noticed that ciphertrade isn't fully operational til the 28th. At this or some similar point, how do I transfer my shares from one exchange to another? And, can you clarify what you meant by the first two sentences? Glad to hear of the progress of the team and the flushing out of the past crew that didn't excel. Looking forward to many ripe harvests on into the future!

I agree with the intended spirit of the OP's thesis but sadly it got flipped by anarchists playing word games. I'm all for mutual aid societies in the advent of an imminent economic crash yielding federal and local governments incompetent and broke but more than likely we'll have to transition away from the state and Bitcoin will have a nice hand in fostering that move. Also, it's crucial to donate and volunteer for pro-liberty candidates w/ our new found wealth and leisure time as we are going into direct competition against those that we're seeking to de-fang: the interests in the military industrial complex, big pharma, banker gangsters, etc. And, they all heavily donate to incumbent establishment politicians and candidates to further burden us and all the ignorant innocents around us. If we are the visionaries of the future, then we have to take the lead in turning the ship around or bypassing it altogether to make the future brighter for us and those that come our way. We have some really good people in the House and a few good in the Senate, we just need to add to it in the next few election cycles. So to recap, we need to battle the special interests on all fronts including cryptoland, politics, networking and social media.

I, too, was thinking along the lines of getting the miner during Q1 and was for waiting it out. After looking at the big picture here, it does seem more realistic to cash out now and move on. Got 8 shares fwiw.

But has the real super rich moved any meaningful assets into bitcoin yet? At a market cap of less than 10 billion dollars then it really hasnt been touched by those who have to get out of a country due to conflict or government clamp downs on the rich.

Rich people are smart enough with their money not to fall for the bit coin scam.

Bit Coin is right at this bust point. No 'currency' has ever existed to make people rich. That seems to be the only point of bit-coin - to make the early adopters rich, in the guise that this is a currency. Sigh. Get out now, you might be able to make something, but it's probably too late now.
Wow, that certainly was a mouthful. There are many rich people of varying degrees all over the world that are involved w/ and holding Bitcoins so your main thesis is bunk. You're wasting your time here if you think you're gonna run up on this forum and think anyone is going to fall for your labeling of Bitcoin as a scam. You only discredit yourself, bro.

KnC Announce ‘Tape out’ of the World’s first 20nm ASIC for Bitcoin Mining

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN — March 5, 2014 –– KnC, the most trusted brand in Bitcoin Mining is announcing they
have completed ‘tape out’ of their new ASIC. This is the world’s first Bitcoin Mining Application Specific
Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designed using ground breaking 20 nanometer engineering. This important
milestone was achieved only 3 months after starting the project, during February 2014.

KnC partnered with Alchip and its representative, Advanced Semiconductors Technology (AST), to deliver
this advanced 20nm technology ASIC. This tapeout is the 2nd generation of the bitcoin mining ASIC following
the success of the 1st, which was delivered in a record time of 3.5 months.

This new KnC20nm chip will reduce power consumption of Bitcoin Mining by 43% when compared with the
previous generation. In addition, innovations in the design of the communications circuitry allow for 1440
cores, in a 55x55mm package.

Marcus Erlandson, KnC CTO, is immensely proud of the teams performance, “The combined efforts of KnC
and our partners Alchip means that once again we are bringing to market a world first silicon design and in
record time.”

Johnny Shen, President of Alchip. “KnC and Alchip have been working together on Bitcoin ASIC design for
less than 12 months and in that time we’ve already delivered 2 world-first projects. Collaboration is the key
here and the close working relationship between our teams is the secret to our success”
That's like ~4-5 TH each

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ODF9RcuFnw#t=39
Would be nice if this forum would update to allow embedding. Anyways, in case my fellow Spartans aren't aware of Ben, he's a true top shelf investigative journalist here in the US that used to work for a Fox affiliate in Cincinnati that has now gone full independent. He's loved in the liberty movement for his accurate portrayal of the state republican conventions and how they rigged votes away from Ron Paul in many instances. He also documented the accurate delegate totals that the MSM wouldn't report. He used to do the Reality Report on Fox but now does his Truth in Media reporting from Roku, his youtube channel and his website: http://benswann.com/. Check his short BTC clip out and you'll see that he's a badass and potentially worth supporting. He was on the Jerry Doyle show last night and will be on w/ Alex Jones tomorrow promoting his new season.

I could go either way on this, though I'd prefer to have my 8 shares working for me sooner rather than later. It's been a while and I'm not really sure whether I'm in Batch 1 or 2 but didn't KNC offer to have our rigs set up at their facility in the advent of late delivery? I was just assuming this would be up and running sometime in March or latest in April. It would seem that anything beyond that would be refund territory.

Mt.Gox is in no way the end of Bitcoin — quite the opposite, in fact. Just as the closing of Silk Road in 2013 led to the biggest boost in value of the Bitcoin to date, weeding out immature companies and bad actors is paving the way for a legitimate Bitcoin marketplace. While it may be coincidence that during the Mt.Gox debacle, Coinbase hit 1 million consumer wallets, it is also representative of what legitimate Bitcoin companies have known through the big ups and the low lows – Bitcoin is fundamentally the best payment system for the Internet era.
Cool

The bottom line is that no one here would like to be in Waldo's shoes on this. The 400 coins are in HF's pocket and that's the end of it. I'm willing to listen to arguments as to whether or not holding out for a full BTC recovery is possible but the way HF has been, I'm not seeing it. I doubt some new law will legally affect what has already transpired but perhaps I'm wrong. This lawyer thing seemed decent as a 'stick it' to HF sort of thing coupled with getting back more coinage but the letter about a blank check for expenses sucked all the air out of the room. The only option left is getting the dismal usd return if HF will give us the time of day here. I'm currently out 7.5 coins and would love to recoup as much as possible but I'm also being realistic and getting irate isn't going to solve anything at this stage. W/o a lawyer and the related baggage, how are we supposed to force HF's hand on anything? They're in the driver's seat and there's not much we can do about it besides maybe contacting some big BTC names and see if they can lean on HF to do something. That's all I got.
