Well, I have a small update regarding HashFast.
As far as Ray Gallo, that guy hasn't replied to my last 2 emails, not sure if he's busy or what the deal is.
Anyway, I did receive my first e-mail back from HashFast in MONTHS. But it's basically the same proposal as last time:
A. USD Dollars to checking account
or
B. USD equivalent in BTC
I think the equivalent in BTC comes out to ~1/5th of what everyone paid originally.. so I'm not sure what you guys want to do but chances of anything happening with HF are so slim I don't know if this is the best choice now or not.
Thoughts, everyone?
Plan for the B Ark!?
B. USD equivalent in BTC
(we could've maybe hit 1/3 refund if we got it before last week!)
HF replied!!?
I am thinking this is a trade off by HF, quickly trying to see how much refund they can attempt to offer, in an effort to avoid multiple litigation and definite bankruptcy.
If we gear up for the legal battle, and with our chance of nil refund, despite maintaining everlasting hope for the full refund, this might be the best available option.
I am still very unbelieving of their words in general, the refund to BTC via USD sounds like our only active chance...
Perhaps there is a chance to have the BTC equivalent refunded, but are we looking for a 2-3 month or longer haul for any legal processes, which may cause more agony later on.
If they can meet a repayment schedule, I would recommend signing it, but getting a solicitor / legal type to counter sign it, and ask for them to be CC as an observer to all refunds, and ask for a detailed invoice of refund (should show the summary more clearly for all to see.)
This may help if we need to go to court, or if others are still unable to get refunds, and need help getting HF to get them to refund.
If they fail to meet the repayment schedule, we will be forced to return to the courtroom solutions.
Having a witness to the exchange of documents will force them to adhere to their agreement.
If we need to go to court, we will be in better standing, having already sought the refund.
