There is nothing wrong with being cautious of these IEOs. Those launched on bigger platforms like Binance are becoming centralized now and that is what many people do not like. The only way for smaller investors to buy now is to wait for those IEO investors to sell it to them. While ICOs have failed many due to these scams, it also gave a change for regular investors to participate.

blockchain and crypto adoption is inevitable. Even some of the critics acknowledges that. Eventhough slow, solutions are being provided to address the issues on cryptocurrency adoption. It's only a matter of time.

Yes you may also do this. Just know that there's a higher chance that you'll get kicked out. Some telegram groups have an anti-bot system in placed and one of the requirement is having a username. From my observation, those without usernames are usually spammers.

There is no rule on that but it is still better to create an ANN thread to get the attention of investors first and not the bounty hunters. Unfortunately some ICOs are still new to the game and new to this forum. Take this one project who posted a bounty thread using a newbie account for example. I offered a few suggestions, including ANN creation, but one week in after bounty was posted, there's still no ANN thread.

I think most of the complaints on KYC are not those bounty campaigns who already set that rule at the beginning of the campaign but from those who require it at the very end. Most hunters do not want their bounty rewards to be held hostage and be forced to undergo KYC procedure to claim their due reward. Even if there is that rule that "we reserve the right to change the rule......" clause, that should only cover changes in bounty allocations and not add rules such as KYC and exchange voting.

I'm still seeing some ICOs launching a telegram "ADD" bounty campaign and I feel sorry for those who are being added without their consent. I thought this was pretty basic but it seems many are still unaware that they can set who can add them. So if you are very much active on telegram and you do not want your account getting dragged by these abusive hunters, do the following steps:

1. Go to your Settings
2. Click "Privacy and Security"
3. Click "Groups"
4. Select who can invite you to groups and channels (choose "My contacts")
