5961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Preparing for a Huge Breakout? on: April 21, 2018, 01:37:54 PM
I don't know if someone has posted this already but I will start this topic to seek opinions from the experts and give ideas to the new traders. Bitcoin's price is ranging at $6800 very tightly since yesterday, the movement of the price keeps narrowing as the day pass by, is it a sign that bitcoin is going to break either its resistance or support?

If my prediction is right, I think bitcoin's price will moon at the end of the month. and I think it will range up to $12000-15000. So it is better to hold onto your coins and wait for the right moment to sell it.

Yes, I agree with your analysis and point of view as your analysis has been proven and the market has broken the resistance and start moving upside. Right now i can see that today the bitcoin chart has made a topping out pattern which is mostly created when the short term top is made on the price chart. I think your expected price level of $12000 will be reached soon if there is a breakout in the uptrend direction of the currently made topping pattern and i think there are high chances and possibility of doing that. I am personally expecting to reach $15,000 by the end of this May month because people have started buying heavily.
5962  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: April 20, 2018, 04:50:42 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/2018-mature-crypto-market-will-draw-more-investment-see-less-volatility-analyst-says

Obviously as an investor you understand there are risks but out of all the exchanges out there, i can think of 2-3 that I would personally trust with my money and in my case we are only talking about thousands, imagine a big player with millions using etherdelta or some other retarded exchange, no way that will ever happen. Even big exchanges like bittrex, not long ago, they fucked up and made everyone wait months and months to get your account enabled or verified. Why would any big player invest in crypto when the risk is so huge, there is literally zero safety, any exchange can run away with your money and you can barely do anything.

I can understand that Crypto exchange holds some level of risk in trading with them and also sharing our hard earned money in their trading accounts, and there is also risk in sharing our KYC and other important details with them because they don't have some regulating bodies controlling the exchanges for example like ASIC, FSA, NFA governing the forex trading exchanges and controlling their operations and service under the rules and regulations. I think the mature and big investors will feel safe in investing in the crypto market only if it gets regulated by the respected countries rule & regulations and I can see many countries like India are planning to regulate them.
5963  Economy / Economics / Re: World debt hits new record: good for BTC on: April 20, 2018, 04:40:30 PM
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-04-18/world-debt-hits-record-164-trillion-as-crisis-hangover-lingers
$164 trillion! That is an awfully big pile of money, but governments think it's not big enough. They keep on borrowing more every year. If there's no crash, it will be a miracle.

Pray God.
Or buy BTC!
Grin

Wow  Shocked $164 Trillion is really a big number and i think things are going to worsen in coming years because the GDP is increasing at a rapid speed by almost 22.7% and we need to think on this issue of global economics. Even though Bitcoin and crypto market has nothing connected to it because it is decentralized and till now there is no governing body connected to it and In fact, i would see the cryptomarket growing side by side. But if there is a huge amount of participation in the crypto market and if the government plans to regulate and use the cryptomarket then the debt can decrease to a certain extent which is a good sign.
5964  Economy / Economics / Re: The EU wants transparency on Cryptocurrencies on: April 20, 2018, 03:26:14 PM
Stumbled upon this article today.

http://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/en/headlines/security/20180404STO00913/plenary-vote-stricter-eu-rules-on-money-laundering-and-terrorism-financing

According to the European Parliament, in order to fight money laundering and terrorism financing, they proposed a new legislation to regulate cryptocurrencies. Quoting from the article:

Quote
The new legislation would also require virtual currency exchange platforms and custodian wallet providers to exercise due diligence and end the anonymity associated with such exchanges. “Now we say that platform providers and those who keep bitcoins in their wallet need to know their customers just as banks do. It is quite revolutionary,” explains Sargentini.

In simple words, they actually want wallet providers to require more information from us, similar to banks.

What are your thoughts on this? Could this ever happen?

The article is very interesting and I think EU is really taking a good necessary step because everyone wants to be on the safer side of the terrorism and other money laundering activities. I think by collecting the data from the traders they just want to be on the safer side and they really want to maintain the stats and database regarding the wallets and the user's necessary KYC etc. Hoping for the best and expecting some more good moves taken by the EU and other countries regarding the fight against the money laundering and Terrorism Financing. In our country, India we are soon going to see strict rules against the cryptocurrency trading as the government is planning to regulate the coins.

5965  Economy / Economics / Re: You only need 1 good year for Bitcoin to be a good investment on: April 20, 2018, 12:58:39 PM
Well for getting good returns from your investment depends on your trading skills and your luck than any other things and i think you should not waste your time on finding that one good year, and if you really want to make the year to be good for your investment then better practise yourself and learn the trading skills. If you master any one trading skills either technical analysis or fundamental analysis then every trading year will be good for you and for your investment. Focus how you can manage your trades by your skills and after that, you can expect the year to be good for yourself otherwise i don't think trading is meant for you because you will try to gamble your investments purely on your luck.
5966  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is more like “a psychological experiment than a serious investment" on: April 20, 2018, 12:10:01 PM
Yes, I agree with your wording that crypto is related to a psychological aspect also, but it will not be right to say that it is related to psychological aspects alone because crypto market is really big and people come here when they are in amateur level and then they practice enough to make some profit and by this way they slowly moves towards the experts level in the market and so here even the manipulation is also playing a major role which indicates us that crypto is really a serious investment if you take it seriously. Here the people have already earned millions of profits from the crypto market and still the counting is going on. And the earning part depends on the investor's psychology, capability, and on his trading skills like he manage the trades.
5967  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: April 20, 2018, 11:48:57 AM
I am fairly new to the crypto world. During my short time, I have contemplated how crypto will go down over the next few years.

Slowly, over time more regulations will be adopted worldwide. This is not because regulators are scared that people are getting scammed, but because they will start limiting this world from us small fish so the banks and "qualified" investors can tke over. All the large banks will then push their own crypto, and we will be left with nothing.

In my opinion, it is in our best interest to gain enough profit so we will have the funds to become qualified investors, and be able to re-enter the markets through the banks exchanges.

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?

I think that the big fish(banks, corporations, big crypto whales) will always need small fish like us,so they could increase their profits by manipulating the markets. All the newbies, who invested their small savings into crypto just don`t know how to trade and they just follow the crowd. When the prices crash, they just start panic selling and the "big fish" make big profits.I assume that 1 of every 100 traders/investors,can succeed and become a "qualified investor",like you said. All the other 99 just fail. The market just produces more inequality.

Yes, I agree with your point of view Davis sir  Smiley, and it is really true because big whales and corporates need small traders and investors so that they can exchange their holdings through heavy manipulation and during our time of accumulation they will distribute their holdings with us so that they can make a huge profit. I think small investors are having the bad habit of following the crowd and because of which big whales are getting profits. But here the crypto is going to last for long-term as even we the small trader are participants and even we are equally having the rights and power to manipulate the market because if don't participate here then they will not be making sound money from the crypto market.
5968  Economy / Economics / Re: So mining is apparently only profitable if btc is over $8600 on: April 20, 2018, 11:12:56 AM
Morgan Stanley say bitcoin mining only profitable above 8600 dollars. I'm not sure this is correct though, especially if future valuations come anywhere close to fruition.

I don't think it is true and yes why should we take Morgan Stanley statement very much serious if he is unknown from the real stats of mining and other valuations of the respected living country of the miner. It totally depends on the country's economic conditions, their amount and quality of resources like Electricity and hardware requirements, and one thing matter a lot is whether the country is supporting the Mining business or not. I think it can be managed well if countries joined together and take some necessary plans and steps by which they can decrease the cost of Mining to a certain extent. In my country India, the cost of mining is somewhere around $3000-$4000.
5969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader or Gamblers. on: April 19, 2018, 07:24:00 PM
In coin trading, you are your only enemy. There are no rules in this arena, only you facing you, and you are both winner and loser.
People may think that they are fighting with the market, other investors, or those scammers shark that always have their eyes on your money. In fact, you are fighting against yourself. You are the one who made the decision. You can decide yourself to lose or win, trust me.

As human nature, we all want to make a bunches and make it fast; too much temptation that incites us to gamble with our account.
In the end, only you can chase off the temptation to follow the plan.

Actually, you are right here in the trading arena you need to fight with yourself, your emotions, your sills, your confidence, your belief. Actually, the trading market is unstructured and we have the habit to deal with the things which are structured in nature and here the market is unstructured in nature and so to trade successfully in this market you need to make some structured plans and only traders can do this plan and plan their trade respectively which the gamblers can't do it.You just need to change your mindset and approach in order to be a trader and you must think like a trader and not like a gambler.
5970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Massive loss 40% underwater on: April 19, 2018, 06:55:00 PM
Got in at the height of Jan this year and all holdings lost more than half from the previous peak.

Very frustrated and was afraid that crypto will be zeroed out, so sold at massive loss more than 50%+ realized loss

After sold last week, all coins came back up 10-20%, even more frustrated, what to do?

40% loss is not a small one its really a big loss and I think should be taking some break from the trading market so that you get recovered from the loss both physically & mentally. But I think the major reason behind your loss is that you didn't plan your trades well and you didn't use a right & major stop loss to your trades in order to protect your capital and because of all that the loss has incurred. Now there is no point in seeing the coins recovering from the bottom again after making a loss and I request you to better not to track anything and take some break from trading as there and then come again with proper practice and planning.
5971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie in crypto trading, whelp! Bot or human? on: April 19, 2018, 06:46:09 PM
Hello guys,
These past few weeks I always losing in crypto trading, I'm considering using bot to trade. But I can't afford to buy one that cost so expensive.
I need guidance. Any pro traders can guide me through this chaotic world. Can't bear any thousands dollar loss 😢😢
Crypto hero needed!

Trading with Bot I don't think it is a good idea to follow because bot will not be able to understand the psychology of the markets as we use to understand it. And also the price of the trading bot and software license is so expensive that you better hire some good analyst who can help you in picking some good and potential coins which will give you earnings for long-time.You can also learn the skills of trading either online or offline using any trading course or be getting trained by any crypto trading mentor if you are really passionate about trading otherwise you can just hire it. make a post in this forum and pro-traders will help you with their guidance.
5972  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT MARKET NOW on: April 19, 2018, 06:39:59 PM
now btc and btc grow up from bottom :btc 6800usd and eth 375 usd,do you think this is below limit and support line for eth and btc??btc pass line resistance 7200 and 7500 usd;eth pass line resistance 400 and 420 usd,btc increase more 10% and eth more 30% from bottom, liquidity seem higher normal days, everyone start buy more coin, the whole market grow up in suspect of evevryone? do you think trend down is stopped?trend recovery is avaible?i hope from now the market will strong grow up

Actually from past few months market was falling rapidly towards downside and I bought so soon so that I don't miss any entry on the long side. The time I enter long on the upside was somewhere around $7000 and afterward, the market went down to $6800 and because of this I entered my another long entry near $6950 and i averaged my whole position and now it is looking like the market is going to last long because the downtrend which was running from past few months have stopped and now the trend is recovering and the candles are making strong pattern indicating the rise in demand. Even i hope  and expect the market to go up soon.
5973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fall of crypto is near on: April 19, 2018, 06:25:11 PM
I am in immense pain to say that i foresee the fall. I would not be surprised if we lose from this point to 50-60 percent.
Accirding to my knowledge institutional investors are bidding out from crypto and stocks.
Stocks has already dwindling now and same will comeback to crypto.
I know some will say it is a fud but friends i am not joking. You are free to not  to buy my thoughts.
Hope i will save someone.
Thank you.
Price today: 7930 usd per bitcoin.

Ps: sorry for typos i am on smartphone and oil is in my hands, i saw something ehich i could not resist..so i decided to spread my words with you guys.

Well, I don't know what information indeed you have got from whom and why are saying that institutional investors are bidding out from the crypto and stocks. Let me tell you that according to my knowledge the professional traders are not going to leave the crypto and stocks for now because I think there is some more room left over there crypto coins are going to accumulate for another few months and it is expected to break the $20k price level and it will soon make a new record high. Actually, pro traders are making the market situation feel like it is going to crash so that amateurs who are holding will leave the market and they will enter soon on the start of the new uptrend.
5974  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: April 19, 2018, 02:47:37 PM
I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?

First of all, I would like to declare that Day trading or any other type of trading style is nothing but skills made from tons of hard work and practice. I would like to say that day trading is different from holding the trades and for that you need to have different trading approach and mindset because here you need to be proactive to do whatever it takes to be successful here in day trading. I don't say it is impossible to do so but yes it is little tough as it here you need to take a number of trades comparing to holding and number of trades mean an increase in stress and work to be done, but if you are really passionate about day trading and you have the right skills then you must go for it.
5975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this right time to invest in any ICO's.....????? on: April 18, 2018, 05:37:19 PM
I think now is a good time for investment , the market is gaining momentum ... it is necessary to use the moment

For investing in ICO every time is a good time to invest, but you just need to make sure that the ICO where you are investing your hard earned money is a good project.Right now the market is gaining momentum because of the increase in demand and volume is rising from past few days indicating the rise in participation which is a good sign for overall investing sentiment and I am sure that most all the ICO's trend to move as per the market sentiment for starting days and then they used to go as per their performance and management.
5976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature campaign for newbie on: April 18, 2018, 05:29:46 PM
It is your first post and asking for people to post this links instead try to spend some time on this forum and explore yourself then you will come to know many things.

First, read the forum rules and what you can post and what is not allowed on this forum.

Later you can explore service section where usually signature campaigns are posted.

You are still a newbie here and I would like to guide you that you better take some time in reading & understanding the forums rules and regulations and before joining any campaign make sure that you have sound knowledge on posting good and high-quality content. And by the way, I don't think you can join any signature campaign at least for next two months because there is less or no space for Junior members and for you to level up to member rank will take big time along with some big efforts. You better try to join any Bounty campaign where you can make some good income using your social media accounts and signature campaign under the bounties.
5977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should continue join ico? on: April 18, 2018, 05:19:14 PM
There is an ico from the Krypital team: Merculet. The project of this team was quite successful before: Cybermiles, Arcblock. Do you think this is a good ico? Should continue to join ico in the moment?

It totally depends on you because if you think the ICO project is good and it's having quite a good potential to give you good returns on your investment over there then I think you should go for investing in ICO and if you don't have confidence in the Project members and if you think that the managing team is not active then i think you should not go for investing in that ICO. There are many other ICO's something like Domuscoins which is having less competition and it is the only best ICO project available in its own Real estate sector.
5978  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will always recover beyond its previous peak on: April 18, 2018, 03:49:55 PM
Thanks for sharing the Historical chart of BTC and yes you are almost correct that BTC tries to recover mostly after it crosses its previous peak. I have always been tracking the Technical charts from past few months and I have seen that BTC always start rising from the point where panic ends and demand start to rise and this is demand slowly increases and it will only burst after the previous peak is been covered and it will create a new high point by strong and speedy price action. Anyways right now the correction is also indicating that we should expect to see the rise sooner.
5979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RUSSIA BLOCKS TELEGRAM -> BAD FOR ICOS? on: April 18, 2018, 03:39:22 PM
Russia’s internet watchdog has blocked an estimated 16m IP addresses in a massive operation against the banned Telegram messaging app that could set a new precedent for Russian online censorship. As we all know, Telegram is also a very popular channel for ICOs.

How could this affect ICOs targeting Russian participants?

Source: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/apr/17/russia-blocks-millions-of-ip-addresses-in-battle-against-telegram-app

Well, Telegram is an application which was used by the majority of Crypto traders in order to gain daily updates about their tracking ICO projects and every other information regarding ICO and bounty programs which I can see a hot topic in this forum. I am really lucky that I am not a Russian citizen because banning the Telegram app would have affected me a lot as I am using it on a daily basis and it is one of my major marketing tools which earns me a good income on regular basis. But I am sure that my Russian friends would find some other way to market and get information for their respected ICO's and Crypto projects.
5980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain to Combat Fake Medicines in India? on: April 14, 2018, 07:55:31 AM
The Indian Government is screwing with blockchain and cryptocurrencies. This country is not letting people trade cryptos, you think they'll come up with some viable solution
India had stopped exchanges and financial institutions from dealing with crypto not because they think it is not viable but because they lack trust in crypto and I must say I agree with them because it is highly volatile, unregulated and filled with scams. It is not the fault of crypto but the fault of people doing the scams. I don't know why India is failing to understand this but I think soon they will recognize the true potential of Blockchain.
I guess this is why they want to use the blockchain technology to combat the fake medicines in India.
