61  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: September 05, 2017, 03:51:27 PM
We're not independent from the general bitcoin trend, we can usually win by saving, yet the trend has to be upwards. In other case, we wouldn't have good return from our saving activity. If the market goes like that, we'll win by saving bitcoin.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: September 05, 2017, 03:15:41 PM
For me it is a very good bet.

Risked of course as many crypto currencies.

I explained the reasons there are a few pages back.

After that, no chance, China just announced that they were going to regulate the ICO, and Binance wanted to become an actor in the next Chinese ICO.

This has a big immediate consequence on the price but in the long run it is not important, regulation is a good thing.

But I think Binance will become a major exchange in the coming years and perhaps a central player for the next ICO on its platform. In any case, it's my bet today.

Your thoughts look good. For Binance platform, I did some trade there, and it's working very smoothly. Its design is so old fashion, and visuals are like 90s computer era. They need to work on the visuals of the platform too. It should be modern. Binance can be a leading exchange platform within 2 years.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am an Chinese, and I know what happened, and I will buy more crypto assets. on: September 05, 2017, 02:43:12 PM
I am one of Chinese.
I am not afraid of govment's order. And I am not afraid of market price down.
I will have more crypto coins later. I promise.

This time I have BTCs, BCHs, ETHs, ZECs, XMRs, and XRPs,
What ever the gov said, I will going on my road,
I'm sure that The block chain will win at the end.
I will have more, at 2018. if the market give me a chance.

In China, there are many many people knows the evolution of the block chain technology that brings to us,
They have the same choice just like me.
The world are huge, and we are not along.
I am being here just to say that.

I want to hug you my little Chinese friend. If we engage together, we can destroy this government together in the winning way of crypto currency. We all quite sure that blockchain technologies take the world under its control. And we'll be rewarded at the end, just be patient.
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 04, 2017, 04:24:33 PM
Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).

First determine if you will some portion cash out. Determine if you need urgent cash. Determine how much you need.

After this, if you never need cash money that will come from your tokens, you can keep holdin them. Selling is not reasonable now.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Charles Hoskinson – co-founder and ex-CEO of Ethereum saw this fallout coming. on: September 04, 2017, 03:57:49 PM
Charles Hoskinson said this ICO fallout was coming several months ago; he really nailed it.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-07-18/ethereum-co-founder-says-crypto-coin-market-is-ticking-time-bomb

Hoskenson believes only the quality coins will be standing after the fallout.

This is generally right, for the garbage ones, we can't expect too much growth after fallout. But all of the loss wil recover with time, even for the worst ones, I believe. We should always take this founders serious before looking at the market.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Made a buy order for $475 for 1 bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 03:38:06 PM
It's just comic, I think he tries to get people into panic.

$475 is possible when the system completely collapsed, all bitcoins hacked and one found a way to produce unlimited number of clone bitcoins. Otherwise, not realistic.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 03:27:19 PM
Why you don't use a normal exchange?

You just need to confirm you ID one time and that's it, isn't so hard to buy bitcoins...
It is true that it is easy to directly buy bitcoin in terms of using wallet or convert your fiat into Bitcoin, yet there as some scenarios that bitcoin transaction on a specific country is quite a hard thing to deal with. So it could be better to consider first looking a way to earn bitcoin in terms of apply on a signature campagin , trading , investing or even doing transaction. So it will not be so hard for you to have a source of Bitcoin for the future.

That's right, ID confirmation and other KYC/AML processes are not hard. But some persons don't like it. They want to stay anonymus. For people not liking ID exposure, they can use localbitcoins or bitcointalk marketplace to buy bitcoins from others.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: September 04, 2017, 03:04:37 PM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment
cash is better than bitcoin because cash can buy something though bitcoin also can buy something. Cash really satisfy you but bitcoin can satisfy you by using it as a payment. Honestly the both of this are better for me.

Using cash gives you the permission to spend your money everywhere without having question. This is why it's much better than coins. Coins are not spendable on shopping, only for speculative use as economic instruments.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell NEO For Qtum Based in Singapore on: September 04, 2017, 02:09:40 PM
There are ICOs on NEO, such as RedPulse. This is why it can impact NEO price.

It can't have impact anymore on NEO. China took decissions restricting ICO in their territory. This will start a dump on neo prices. Honestly, its price was pumped hard, this dump is usual and expected.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Bitcoin now on: August 29, 2017, 04:30:01 PM
It looks like another up wave is on the way by bitcoin whales. On Poloniex, bitcoin prise is increasing harshly now. On liqui as well. We can't start moving now until we anticipate what's really going on in the market. If it's a temporary increase, then it will decrease again. And we can buy some more in deep price.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates on Bitcoin on: August 29, 2017, 04:14:17 PM
Bill Gates stated that the Bitcoin is the future and that it is better than currency. Would you assume that his statement (as one of the many reasons) added value on Bitcoin which made it stronger and more stable in the system?  Smiley

I don't think bill gateways are interested in bitcoin or other things. He's a taft guy with lots of job and projects. They never spend money on this kind of risky assets. They invest in real stock markets.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: August 29, 2017, 03:39:38 PM
I think that we all have our own styles in trading.
For me, first I'll check the trend, news, of course, choosing a great coins, too.
Then see if its in dip or at peak, but not only that. Bookchart really helps a lot.
When placing an order, whether buy or sell, don't forget to use a stop loss.
When ppl are panic buying [Fomos], I'll sell it and the other way around.

Trend is significant but the market perception is also taken into account in daily trade for me. I can't trust technical things all the time. I look whether I'm in profit prior my sell orders. If yes, I sell it anytime I lke.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping 5000$ ? on: August 29, 2017, 03:31:42 PM
Hello all !
I'm new trade alt. I have a question here and I need your help.
BTC prices are rising strongly, we can invest at this time with co-BTC ? or you can tell me what altcoin should invest ?
Thanks All Trader  Cry

I don't think so. There is a strong pressure on bitcoin market and cryptocurrency market at the moment. This will make it much harder to get $5000 in a short time. Only in 2018, we can see bitcoin at $5000.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 29, 2017, 03:13:35 PM
"We see a lot of interesting models that  Bitcoins  and Gold are independent of each other," BitStamp CEO Nejc Kodrič said.  "If you look at both graphs, whenever gold goes up and  Bitcoin  decreases, Bitstamp them. I saw the amount of  Bitcoin  increase. People sell  Bitcoin  to buy gold. The reason for this, those people still look to gold as the oldest form of value. Gold is still a safe gateway for many Bitcoin users  . We are seeing more and more people realizing the complementarity between gold and  Bitcoin . " Bitstamp allows customers to receive gold when selling  Bitcoin .

We don't even need to compare bitcoin with gold. All peope try to load that weird mission into bitcoin so that they expect bitcoin to surpass gold. We should think them seperately, their natures are different, the usage is also different without any relationship.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why buy WAVES? on: August 28, 2017, 04:17:24 PM
Because WAVES has a good platform and I think WAVES will be better and will have a very good future.
I also like to invest in coin WAVES because I think this coin will be like Ethereum

Waves was leading decentralized exchange platform project, but the competitors entered the market within the years. This will make waves' chance be lower than it used to be. Their development is slow and waves platform is very basic, missing features.

I wouldn't buy waves, I would go for other new projects.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Decentraland project collected $24 million in 35 seconds on: August 28, 2017, 03:01:33 PM
100% instamined scam keep away

insta ico = insider scams

will lead to collusion and market manipulation.

Ico contributors are totally looking for manipulatios where they can make 5x 10x in short period of time. If it's a scam project, how they could manage to collect $25 million in seconds? This is the interesting part. BAT also had collected very big amount in minutes as far as I remember.
77  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: August 28, 2017, 02:18:54 PM
Electrum wallet is good.and the fee is not bad,but i don't feel comfortable to keep my bitcoin in cold storage,i will only use the wallet for a while  and then move them to exchanger.

After bitcoincash split, there were too much rumors about electrum. Then I totally quited from it. I'm using bitcoin core on my desktop and using blockchain.info for mobile purposes. In blockchain.info, I don't hold bitcoins, just using for transactions.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is dieing? on: August 22, 2017, 07:38:16 PM
Like the price from 4000+ goes to 3800? Will it rise up again or that wont happen for now.
Before creating this thread and asking this question, haven't you looked at the price history for bitcoin?

If not than you should check, I am quite sure you will find your answer there easily.

Yes bitcoin price had and will recover from every dump/correction it might have in future too.

I'm sure they haven't checked the price history of bitcoin. Whenever a correction happens in bitcoin price, they start to make people very panic by saying bitcoin will die and it will be worthless. It never dies because of the fudders.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 06:41:55 PM
There are several advantages of Bitcoins.

People are using Bitcoins to send payments online without providing any proof to confirm account etc.
People are using Bitcoins to earn money easily.
People are getting paid in Bitcoins.
People are investing in Bitcoins and earning.
Bitcoin making life easy with one click payment.
Bitcoin is actually helping us in all the ways.

Nice list. I also use it very frequently for these ones below:

-To send money to my brother, he's living in nort america and bank transfers are slow and expensive.
-To send money to my business partners, for the small payments like $200 or $300.
-To get paid for the online jobs or for item exchange. We take the advantage of internet and bitcoin.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TenX vs. Monaco on: August 22, 2017, 05:05:08 PM
I prefer neither.  VISA has announced similar support for Cryptocurrencies in their cards in the future.  I expect all of the larger credit card players to do the same.  This market is too competitive, saturated, and dominated by large players that I would rather rely on using a card from a major player.

Chances are that you are right and people with more connections I.E. : Ethereum Alliance/Microsoft/Banks/Coinbase are already working on something similar as they have already dropped hints. Whether they will accept all the coins that are tenX platform is the question.

Both Monaco and TenX are used to destroy crypto value into fiat. TenX has a limit on withdrawl, but who's to say you can't have 10 TenX cards since there is an unlimited supply, this is an obvious loophole that many people will gladly take advantage of, as the tier 1 verification is a joke.
TenX pays out dividends, but users won't recieve their cards until the end of September, then you can see it it's really worth holding or better to trade. I researched Monaco and i didn't read any benefit in holding the coin as it's only purpose was to pay back the initial investors from the ICO. If anyone knows the purpose of monaco coin other then that please share.

The way their systems work are very similar but the image of these two are very different than each other. Monaco was accused to scam people at first. Then people decided Monaco project is also legit and trustful. But, when we look at TenX, we see much more professional business. Their team had interview with CNBC, if I'm not wrong. The reputation and credibility of TenX is much above than Monaco project. But I believe both will do important jobs in debit crypto card area.
