61  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a way of avoiding to change money when travelling abroad on: August 26, 2017, 11:41:25 PM
This is a good idea. Something that has been mentioned before.  Much easier than carrying cash and certainly easier than carrying gold.  As Bitcoin goes mainstream this will get easier and easier.
62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: August 26, 2017, 11:38:48 PM
I've been hearing this same question for years.  Wouldn't be spending my time on here if I didn't think it had a future.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH chain is now longer than BTC chain!!! on: August 23, 2017, 01:39:49 AM
Bitcoin cash might be the best competitor to BTC right now.  I think it still has possibility to become the dominant coin.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / List of airdrops on: August 23, 2017, 01:37:28 AM
Would like to create a list of the airdrops that are happening.  They should be easy to enter, require little effort on the part of people entering it.  Would like to avoid the giveaways that require a certain amount of BTC held.
65  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Games for eaning BTC on: August 20, 2017, 02:52:28 PM
I had seen something where it was possible years ago, I haven't seen anything anymore.  The faucets were much better at one time also.
66  Other / Beginners & Help / When is my next activity period? on: August 20, 2017, 02:48:40 PM

67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a threat to BTC??? on: August 20, 2017, 02:37:35 PM
Ethereum is an active threat, look at how high the market cap is.  And it adds functionality.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 13, 2017, 10:09:53 PM
I think it's still slowly rising only because too many people are waiting for it to drop lower to buy it.  We won't see that happen Everytime it moves higher.  This is just the beginning. Next stop is the moon.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone who bought coin under $18,000 BTC, will look like a genius soon on: August 13, 2017, 10:07:22 PM
The correction will be upwards, coin has been held down far too long, enough waiting for everyone else to get aboard.
70  Economy / Economics / Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: August 13, 2017, 08:58:49 PM
I called around some stores to see if they accept BTC, no one has even heard of it except like 0.1% of people.  Wait till people actually find out this exists...
71  Economy / Economics / Anyone who bought coin under $18,000 BTC, will look like a genius soon on: August 13, 2017, 08:53:33 PM
Wait till this really starts to go up we will all look like genius.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: August 13, 2017, 08:32:18 PM
I would say to cash some out when it hits $1,000,000 but you might not need to since everyone will be accepting it soon.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin to $4000 = altcoin market crash on: August 13, 2017, 05:45:18 PM
Even if you profit in altcoins, Bitcoin is the easiest way to cash out. So Bitcoin is riding a wave of its own success and any achieved by the altcoins.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thread for little known altcoins with potential on: August 12, 2017, 10:37:54 PM
Are we talking about alt-coins only? Or are tokens fair game as well? There are so many little known ones and new icos daily.
Tokens and Altcoins are good. Hopefully with a lot of development behind them

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's plan a collective coin to invest in on: August 12, 2017, 08:45:19 PM
Is it a pump n dump?

I was more so actually thinking of holding the coin for a while instead of selling it instantly. ill check your sig for coins too man

Something similar.  These coins need long term support or just fade away.  At least one dev active on the project, and others.  We can set bounties, make a faucet, android wallets, markets, etc.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's plan a collective coin to invest in on: August 12, 2017, 08:13:14 PM
I think this would be a solid idea. This board is large so I think if we get a lot of people onboard, we can have an influence

Concept: On one specific date, we all put $1000 USD (or whatever you are comfortable with) and all buy the same coin at the same time. If there's interest, we can all congegrate through email, discord or something

Aiming for a september date for this ... and targetting a cheap coin with potential so we can all hold like a 1,000,000 of the coin
That is just a pumping and hoarding of a coin.
Check out my list of coins in the thread in my Sig.  I think rather then pump a coin for one day, we could find a consensus on one or a few deserving coin we can continually support.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thread for little known altcoins with potential on: August 12, 2017, 08:10:37 PM
I am actively reviewing coins for my thread, I will find us some good coins eventually.  Recently observed coins:

Tokes(TKS), appears to be a waves coin in support of cannabis, recently made its way into its first dispensary.

Clams(CLAM), this coin enjoys a cult-like following around a very popular dice site, one of the earlier coins to distribute to a BTC snapshot.

Sprouts(SPRTS). This is another old coin that has one or more people attempting to revive it( I see this alot lately), looks to be hundreds of billions of this coin.

Am slowly sorting through the haystack reviewing coins.
