21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum batch send on: November 22, 2020, 04:55:36 PM
How to do a batch send with ethereum tokens?  How much will this save on fees?

Found this new token online.
23  Other / Off-topic / The Earth is a flat disc on: September 06, 2020, 01:27:33 PM
Many of us know that the Earth is a flat disc.  Maybe some still think it is a cube or other shape.  A good way to realize this is to use our intuition and common sense.  Some people need to just go outside and walk around and see for themselves.  We live in a modern age of technology where people should know the true shape of the planet they live on.  The Earth is undeniably a flat planet.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Small amount of ETH on many wallets transfer on: August 01, 2020, 04:51:26 PM
I have small amounts of ETH change on dozens of wallets.  Is there any way to batch send them in one transaction or do I have to pay a transaction fee for each?  Same question for the tokens on the wallets as well.

Could anybody post the amount of the received airdrop.
Only out of interest.

They said it would be 80 to 400 ETHD each.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Recent forks on: December 16, 2017, 01:57:19 AM
Are there any forks in the past week or so that I should be checking for?  I have a small holding of Bitcoin.

Is this guaranteed to have a third airdrop or we don't really know yet?  I would think the details would've been posted already.

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: September 13, 2017, 09:51:49 PM

My account was wakeup on June 28, 2017 after 3.5 years of registration. If you think you understand deeponion developers' scheme then nobody at fault. They only need a reason (even if illogical like faulty signature as ref=xxxxx type) to ban external accounts those don't belong to their team. So they can airdropped more to their own accounts.
Agreed, the majority of the accounts that qualified for the airdrop belong to them undoubtedly.
34  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-13] Markets Update: Bitcoin Breaks Below $4000 During 12% Sell-Off on: September 13, 2017, 03:00:36 PM
Quote
Bitcoin has broken below $4000 USD following a sudden 12% sell-off. The dump occurred following the establishment of a third point of contact on a descending trendline from the all-time high of approximately $5000 USD, amidst speculation that China’s government may move to suspend the operation of some Chinese bitcoin exchanges.

The bitcoin markets are again testing the $4000 USD support area following a 12% drop, with prices currently hovering between approximately $3900 and $4000. The dip appears to have been triggered by rumors that China’s government will temporarily suspend the operations of all Chinese cryptocurrency exchanges coupled with the establishment of a third point of contact on a descending trendline from the recent all-time high of approximately $5000 USD.

Read more of this news here.

For many weeks now, the market's overall mood is under the influence of the China Effect...whatever China said and may plan to do have the power to tear the price of Bitcoin. This recent sell-off is triggered by that lingering fear that soon China will ban the operation of Bitcoin exchanges and the unfounded speculation that it will also be banning the whole of Bitcoin (which is impossible, of course).

This time it is getting to be a little bit of a massacre and we are hoping that I am correct in saying that Bitcoin is a very resilient investment vehicle. According to its history, the King of all Cryptos have been through many ups and downs but it is always able to rise back like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

How strong are you in your vote of faith and confidence with Bitcoin?
I agree with this.  The strong hands will keep holding Bitcoin anyway, and we will shake out those who believe they are on unsure footing.
I've seen the price drop even further today and I think that it only present a good entry point for a buying opportunity.  In the past I've seen Bitcoin dip over 50% so this is nothing much. Some of the newer crypto coiners seem to think it can only go up.

We hope you like it and leave a 5 star review  Grin

EDIT: Release notes for version 1.3.3:
v1.3.3 was released to Google Play store, github, and our site.

The list of changes from last regular release include:

* Generic scan button in the main view - Use this to quickly scan QR codes to send bitcoins. In the future, this may be used to quickly log into websites with BitID.
* Improvements to barcode scanning with flashlight toggle and autofocus setting
* Email notifications for LocalTrader - Google Push Notifications system is still kind of unreliable, and we can't fix it because it's Google servers that are having issues, so this is a fix until we figure out something better.
* Fixes and connectivity fallback for dns issues - A few days ago we had an issue where our domain name, which is pointing to our servers, was temporarily turned off by our provider while they verified that we are who we say we are. Should this happen again, wallets will switch to contacting our servers with their IP numbers directly (this is also likely temporary, until we move everything to Tor)
* Various crash fixes

We think that this will be the last feature update for the non-HD version. Stay tuned for an upcoming Mycelium HD release.

I have been using this mycelium wallet and I would say it is a decent android Bitcoin wallet to use, does not have all the features I would like though.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on: September 09, 2017, 03:07:35 PM
Litecoin was recently added as a selection for an IRA.  That should be a big positive for the coin.  I am bullish on this coin overall.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to take keep your BTCs 100% safe? on: September 09, 2017, 02:26:40 PM
My vote is for using a paperwallet.  They have paperwallet creators, and you download the website and can use it like an app offline to generate a paper wallet.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay - New Coin Launch - Official Thread on: September 08, 2017, 08:25:16 PM

C-CEX has upgraded to 1.0.2.9 and deposits and withdraws are back open again!

We are eagerly awaiting F7000 to come to pass now.

I have deployed the Inbound Orphan API in the Pool.  Now you can automatically see the inbound orphan letters written to us as they come in, a translator (at Compassion) scans both pages of the letter and sends to us electronically.  We have a service running in the pool that pulls the image and stores the images in our SAN.

Therefore now you can click: Orphan Inbound Letters, and view them.

In the near future, I will work to have these changed over to PDF so we can view each letter with one click.  And add a 'reply' option.

We released the feature where the Orphan List now supports a row click to show the orphan Bio without navigating away.
The Writing to Orphan also supports a 'Letter writing tips' insitu Dialog now.

There has been a boolean added over to the Orphan Active sponsor list that reports if the child still needs written to.  1=Needs Written, 0=Already written to.  We made the feature not take into account "approved" letters by design so the group can quickly start using the feature.

Im still working on the "Sent" process.  I believe once per month (probably the same day that I release the foundation wallet payments to compassion to pay the premiums), I run a program that will send our outbound letters out and mark the row as sent.  You will all know when it happens when the Sent flag = 1.

There is now a bounty paid by the pool for approved letters.  You will see a LETTER_WRITING_BOUNTY appear in your transaction list.  This occurs when we send out the approved outbound letters, the pool account then pays premiums for approved letters automatically.  Just look for the credit after the letters SENT flag is set to 1.  This bounty is based on the letter writing fees collected divided by letters required.  (Its roughly the amount shown in the announce section).

I have been looking in on this coin a few times.  The last time I read it seemed they were having some difficulties.  I am wondering if it is safe to store some of currency in this crypto coin at this time?

I am wanting to create a paperwallet address to send some of my Wacoin.  Is this possible yet?  I use the paperwallet creators.

This coin came up on my radar before I think I saw a spike in price or trade volume on it.  Have been meaning to take a look at it as a coin to put on my list.
