61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My wife tell me that i should sell all of it. on: August 10, 2018, 07:28:08 PM
Hello guys,

I have attended this place since May 2017,
Maybe i like many people here, i was profitable in December 2017, BUT i didn't sell because i think market will up more,
Then like everyone have seen, market has gone down for 8 months, and now i losing so much, but i still wait, i believe that market will go up and i will have profit again.
But my wife was impatient, she told with me "i think you should sold all of it".
I will don't sell anything, but I feel sad because I made her disappointed, she had hoped for me.

Expecting too much could lose so much more instead of gaining good profits. No offense, but Greediness is such a bad habit.
The Invest, hodl and sell principle of cryptocurrency is quite tricky, believe me. You should've sell your alt coins last year when it was still in a higher value status. Once you have missed that chance,
It will surely be uncertain and you will be force to hold again without the idea of how your tokens would go back again like last time.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can something free be a scam? on: August 03, 2018, 08:36:57 AM
Hi everybody,
Lately I am reading a lot of posts asking: is this airdrop a scam? Is that free ICO a scam?
So I am wondering how can something that doesn't cost you a penny be a scam. Sure, they get your email adress and maybe a ETH Adress, but how can you  really be scamed with only this informations? I am not talking about airdrops that require kyc registration, that for sure can be dangerous.
Cheers,

There are legit airdrops and ICO and there also fake ones.
You just have to take extra precautions and to think very carefully about what and where you plan on joining. Just think twice whenever a certain airdrops or even an ICO requiring personal and private information about you, its important that you shouldn't just provide it without giving it a second thought. Scams are everywhere. So, you should be extra careful and be wise enough to avoid one.
63  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think the markets will collapse on: August 03, 2018, 07:56:38 AM
Collapse definition: Market Cap less than 150 Billion

Yes or No

I say YES

I didn’t want to say yes but there is not much light in the tunnel.

Of course no, i believe this is only normal. Market collapse is next to impossible and always remember that when there are demands from a certain coin, the chances of the market collapsing can never happen. its simply can't. I described market as a wheel.
One moment its on top, the next its at the bottom. Btw, Market cap today is now 261 billion. How amazing is that right?
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best alt coins to invest with low cap.. on: August 03, 2018, 06:27:36 AM
Hi All,

Could you please help me here by providing low cap alt coins to invest for coming years.

Thanks,

There are plenty of alt coins with low cap such as Dent and Trx.
Both shows great promise and great profits for a very low price.
These two tokens are basically increasing its value especially in the last 3 months of the year.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: August 03, 2018, 05:59:52 AM
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.

Yes, there are bounty hunters that also happens to be an ICO investor. Especially those bounty hunters with huge earnings from their wallets. They participated from the project's bounty campaign program while putting some investments on the project as well. But it Depends only if the project has potential to succeed.
Even though its a risk, bounty hunters still go for it, simply because its a great opportunity to double a profit.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give me suggestion! I already lost my money. on: August 03, 2018, 05:47:11 AM
Guys, i lost half btc in some circumstance and rest of my altcoin in also down position so in that moment what should i do?
give me your suggestion.

You must keep on continuing what you do even after you've experienced tremendous loss. Maybe you've just made a wrong decision leading to this or maybe its just bad timing or you're out of luck. Either way, you must never let this unfortunate thing stop you from getting your goals and for gaining great profits again.
I have friends who just got hacked a few months and lost huge amount from their wallets and it doesn't stop them from going back again to the crypto industry. If you still have holdings, then hodl for a while and also get new alt coins. There are many great alt coins out there you just have to pick the right one.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good strategy to buy tokens at low price directly after ICO? on: August 01, 2018, 05:53:03 PM
Hello
You know that most of ICOs lose their token price directly after token distribution. Sometimes it happens through bounty hunters, sometimes for other reasons... So the question is as follows: Is it good strategy to buy tokens at low price directly after ICO?

Yes, with enough time on research and study before making plans on deciding to invest or buying tokens after an ICO. The nature of investments in the crypto industry somehow varies from time to time depending on the integrity and success of the project.
There's always a risk and that's normal.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or sell ? on: July 28, 2018, 05:13:26 AM
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?

The only problem with holding is we tend to lose our patience very easily. The point of hodl is to wait for the right moment to sell. The nature and value of coins vary in time due to its demand and supply. You should remember that investments in crypto has risk and it will test your patience and limit.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: July 28, 2018, 05:03:04 AM
It was an unfortunate event that i was able to join an ICO campaign that was really not good in terms of their management. They are requiring to do the bounty hunters a KYC process as to help them identify the real bounty hunters. Well that is good though and i am confident that i am able to comply in the KYC process. However, a couple of months pass the team requires the bounty hunters to contribute with 0.1 eth and that time I was about to think why when in fact they will do KYC? So i think there is something fishy out there in their ICO and i quit joining bounty campaigns. I posted more than 200 post for them but sad to say my efforts had gone to nothing. I am afraid now to join ICO bounty campaign. Should i quit? Well anyway i found SONDER and this time i am sure that i have joined a good ICO having a live sales which sold million of tokens in their private sales. No question with the success we are almost reaching the soft cap and i am planning also to invest with them as the team told us that our contribution as eth increases so does our tokens. WOw i am really impressed with these ICO. The team are working hard and i am happy and great to be with these team. I finally found the one.

Its unfortunate but it usually happens in this industry unless we prevent it by checking first an ICO's legitimacy and validity before participating in it. Then the chances of being fooled by these fake ICO might lessen. Don't give up.
Its too early to lose hope and to get discourage from this.
there are other opportunities aside from what you just experienced.
Let this be a lesson and a reminder that we should do a lot of research and checking before we enter into something that we might regret in the future.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: July 28, 2018, 04:46:24 AM

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

I would humbly suggest that you just keep your ethereum.
The month of august is coming and from what i've seen this is the month where Bitcoin, Ethereum and other top 10 coins get pumped up.
You should just wait and hold for a little bit and when Ethereum's value rises this august - december then thats the right moment to buy other coins and use your earnings.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid getting scammed. on: July 27, 2018, 07:39:21 PM
im a newbie here i really want to get much experience in cryptocurrency and i myself want to learn a lot about it but since im new in this industry everybody warn me to be careful in trading, i really dont know what trading is and how can i get my money stolen from that thing can you guys explain to me?

Sir, first of all. I really believe that the most important thing about avoiding this incident of fraud schemes depends on how we are well-informed and educated enough to balance the information and knowledge about things we don't know. For me, that is the best way against scam.
There is no solution for the stolen money that you wish to get back.
In short, self-awareness and careful study about the things you want to get involved with is the best answer to that.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All my tokens in MEW stolen! on: July 27, 2018, 05:03:35 PM
I just logged into MEW and when check my balance everything except 45 tokens everything else has gone! My wallet was hacked, but where have all my tokens gone?

I am devastated. Has anyone else been hacked how is this possible?

I am not sure what to do! please advice folks.

My friends we're also hacked these past few weeks from MEW.
We all think that their personal computer has been compromised and were infected by sneaky malwares that seems the only reason how hackers stole their possession. I humbly suggest that if you do once again create a wallet account make sure to avoid entering suspicious websites, porn sites and also beware of phishing sites.
Hackers and scammer will do everything they can to steal from others. regardless of what's inside your wallet. Im sorry about what happen to you but you can't do anything about it except view your transaction history from MEW. You'll only see where your tokens been transfered.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: July 27, 2018, 04:49:46 PM
Bitcoin keep on falling down  and no sign of raising. How long can we keep holding?

As of today, Bitcoin goes back again to its previous value of 8k dollars per Bitcoin. This is probably the moment where Bitcoin might surpass once again its record high. As months go by, Bitcoin's value increases especially in the beginning of august until december that's for sure and maybe even alt coins would somehow get dragged onto Bitcoin's rise of value.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: July 27, 2018, 04:43:38 PM
Hello everyone!

We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

What is your idea?

The moment you realize that alt coin's value you have are dropping or suddenly turning into non-valuable ones. Then, you should sell it immediately. However, if you feel that your tokens have great potential and its ICO services are good. Then, by all means hold onto it. I'm pretty confident that a lot of coins even alt coins would increase their value by the end of this year. Maybe, waiting a litlle bit longer would somehow pay-off.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: July 20, 2018, 04:01:09 PM
Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!

Sorry but i disagree. Bitcoin was the first digital coin created to support the system of digital transactions and trading.
However, Bitcoin can't handle alone all transactions and needs of lets say a hundred million people at once because of its limited supply of 21 million. This is one of the reason why Ethereum and other alt coins were created to provide services where bitcoin cant provide. these alt coins are very crucial to the entire cryptocurrency system of wide interconnectivity of diverse tokens able of providing different products and services.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: July 20, 2018, 03:36:53 PM
Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin

As long as an alt coin provides great quality product or services and people are utilizing it more oftenly or maybe if an alt coin becomes an object of necessity then, it will be one of the reasons why it would stay and survive for a very long time. For example,
Dent coin - Providing cell phone load and services.
Trx coin - an alt coin use for subscribing exclusive private videos through pornhub.
I believe these 2 alt coins are good example of coins that will one day be at the top 20 of in-demand alt coins.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: July 20, 2018, 11:44:12 AM
I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?

Yes, i totally agree. Both are considered an investments and both have risk and consequences whether good or a bad one.
I think the concept of losing either money vs. Time and effort doesn't matter because both are time consuming. people who buy tokens for investment needs time too. Holding is the key for great profits.
In short, long term investment. The only difference is that it doesn't just consume time it also consumes money. While on the other hand, bounty campaign only needs time and effort. It doesnt need any money to begin with. This is why i prefer bounty campaign over buying coins for investment.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: July 20, 2018, 10:57:02 AM
Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?

I wouldn't recommend buying new tokens that had just arrived for a few days or weeks. I really think its a lot of risky. Maybe invest on tokens with great reputation, established ones or tokens with great potential of gaining great profits. The most important thing is to Study first the token you plan on buying. Maybe if you did that you lessen the chances of losing investments.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: July 17, 2018, 07:35:47 PM
Hi guys,

I was trying to invest around 5K in Etherium. The price at the moment is around 1.2K and as it looks it is still growing. You think is it a good time to invest ?

Yes, why not. As long as you have the capital to buy this token then by all means do that. Ethereum is a great investment. People here in the crypto industry knows that. Its next in line to Bitcoin.
However, i humbly suggest that you also take a look into alt coins.
I do believe there are emerging alt coins today that possesses an amazing potential and could someday be on top in the coin market.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins are worth buying NOW on: July 14, 2018, 05:15:10 PM
Do you have any coin suggestions?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple or Dash. But, if you're talking about alt coins, then maybe i would suggest you buy TRX or Dent,
TRX are now being use in pornhub and this coin might be a successful one, because of the fact that a lot of people are watching porn and they will have the opportunity to buy TRX coin and use it for subscription of the exclusive videos they like to watch and because of this, TRX coin value might increase in the future.
I considered Dent coins to be a success too, simply because Dent coins are being used for internet subscription through mobile phone. And again, who else doesnt use internet nowadays? That is why i also think that Dent coins are worth buying too.
