61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: July 13, 2017, 05:14:36 PM

I am not a tech guy, but i know it's a good news for stratis .This coin is in my buying list for its large potential.

It is (I'am a tech guy).
It is very good news, indeed.

Unity is an extremely popular game development platform, and many, many mobile games have been developed with it - for example Angry Birds. Unity uses C# and therefore it's compatible with Stratis libraries.

For example, think mobile games and Stratis sidechains for in-game tokens.

Next logical step is to collaborate with Unreal Engine (which is also very popular game development platform)

How does this compare to Gamecredits and MobileGo?

I don't know Gamecretis or MobileGos concept, but I would imagine that it's very difficult to beat Stratis's highly flexible and customer oriented BaaS (Blockchain-as-a-Service) solution with anything less.

For example, Stratis sidechains can offer Unity game developers much more than simple in-game cash solution. Game items and such data can be stored in blockchain, so they cannot be stolen - without private keys. That also makes game items an p2p tradeable commodity which is secured by blockchain technology. And there are many other use cases what Stratis BaaS can offer.

Have you btw noticed that Stratis (and pretty much all alts) follow the price of ETH - instead of BTC?
I know that people say, how upcoming BTC segwit makes market nervous, but somehow it doesn't seem to affect much to the price of BTC itself - which is already weird all by it's own.

So, I'm actually beginning to question that theory.
Segwit might have huge impact when it happens, but at the moment it's quite clear that Ethereum is the altcoins pacemaker.
When Ethereum goes up, altcoins go up - and when Ethereum goes down - altcoins go down even more.

I actually only need to follow Ethereum's price to see how Stratis is doing.
I do have the Stratis mobile-app (of course) which shows me the Stratis price in almost real time - but I tested my theory by following ETH price going up and down - and it was in perfect sync with Stratis.

Most alts have nothing to do with ETH, so why is that?

Do people think somehow, that Ethereum is the 'King of the Alts' and therefore all the Alts bow to the king?

I think sooner or later this so called 'King of Alts' will be overthrown.

And you all know who the new king will be Cheesy

Warning!

Changelly.com transactions don't go thru at the moment.

I made my biggest stratis purchase to date, and it got stuck! It's been stuck for more than two hours now.
I send them email, I tweeted, I even sent them direct message via twitter chat (or wtf it's called) - and there's no reply!

I'm starting to lose my sense of humor...

Ok. Now they at least responded to my email:

Thank you for your query. Unfortunately, we are experiencing some issues with exchanging, and that's the reason of this delay.
Once the matter is resolved, your funds will be arrived to your wallet.
We do apologize for the inconvenience caused.

And thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,
Changelly support team

And now I got my STRATs ... and with good exchange rate!
Thank goodness.
First time ever I was really worried - and I've been to crypto markets quite a long time Smiley

It's pretty obvious that Development team hasn't dumped their tokens - no matter what the trolls say.

Largest wallets are still there pretty much untouched : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/strat/#!wallets

remember when devs were hyping this shitcoin at 0.045 around 10 dollars that we have big news breeze wallet will come soon?

lol thats when they dumped their coins, dont trust this shill community of scammers

You have to have some sort of incentive in this, because you just keep on trolling and pushing peoples buttons.
FYI you are wasting your time. You ain't gonna make any difference at all - nobody is going to change their opinion - and nobody will change their investment plans or strategies based on your trolling.

Go and do something useful.

As many seem to think it has a link with the future of BTC on the 1ST August.

But it won't last forever and I'm sure that Strat will do well as BTC after August.

Also there is a big dump of Strat but also a pump seconds after... so it seems that many traders do short term trade Smiley buy/sell very quickly.

Are they implementing BTC SegWit or something similar on 1st of August? Has the date been decided?
I haven't seen that in the websites.

Maybe less people trading because they have better things to do on the weekend?

In that case market would be stable - not crashing. Somebody has to cash out. Lots of people, in fact. So there's plenty of trading going on.
Maybe the Joneses are trading crypto for cocaine? Or Lambos? Or something?

It's weird.

At this time, even TenX fell flat when it opened on Bittrex. I think that says a lot about the state of the market today.

And these crashes happen mostly on weekends. What is the reason behind it? I would really like to know.
All I know is that they do, and I can use that fact to my advantage. But why?

I guess it's just another one of these QI things...

We are just tapping each other's back indeed. But I doubt that forums have much impact on any token's price. Big news and important updates will come from the Stratis team itself. The people building the platform are smart and they know when and how to spread the word about their product. They certainly have a marketing strategy in order to build momentum. Timing is the key.

I couldn't agree more. That is exactly what it takes, and that's exactly what's gonna happen. It's all laid out in Stratis Road Map.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: July 08, 2017, 03:03:21 PM
I managed to buy some Ardor at the very bottom, and now (after 5 hours) it has gained 10%.
I play with Ardor every now and then when I see the possibility to gain some small, fast profits, which then (when the time is right) will be reinvested to Stratis. I do that usually when I'm a bit short on cash -  which (sadly) I am at the moment.

That tactic has worked so far, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it backfire some day.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: July 08, 2017, 02:47:30 PM

Go on holiday and when you come back all will be ok. It is just 3 weeks. People worry too much and panic sell.

According to game theory (by John Nash and John Von Neumann et al.), between 30-70% of the people (in general) push the button and panic sell. It's obviously a bad deal for them, but on the other hand, smart money kinda needs those panic sellers.

If this does not blow you away. You are ,unfortunately, brain dead.

That is awesome! No doubt!

But, for the price of Srat to reach the moon, it takes big wide audience to wake up.
We are (here in the forums) just tapping each others backs.

That's a good thing, I like it - but i'm afraid it's not good enough Smiley

Spread the word, fellows - somebody had to say it, so it might as well be me.

Is my English deteriorating? Sorry 'bout that. English is not my native language anyway - and I'm tired as hell. Oh well, no worries.

Let us remind what's really important *with torrent of sarcasm he says, and moves on* by the words of Extreme:

Yes too much undervalued but... its one of those time that we can fill our bags with more stratis . Might as well gather some as this may be the last opportunity.

I kinda feel the same. If only I had some loose fiat to invest...
if you watched this project since the first day its been introduce, i think you will feel the same it might be the last chance to ride for its cheaper
value and then after it will go up again, stratis still undervalued and it will bring another jump just carefully analyze and begin buying the dumped
coin right now.

I wish I could. I truly wish. I invested pretty much all of my cash last weekend, when Strat was low, and now I have no more to invest. Sucks big time, fellows. But I have fair amount of Strat collected already, so it's not all bad Smiley

And more over, payday is coming soon (with bonuses) so I keep my fingers cross, that Strat is low when I get my hands on dough Smiley

Haha, it's possible to interpret your comment as: "hey forum sheep, do as I say and you'll make me a millionaire Smiley
Stratis is an exceptional project, I'd like to see where it will go in future!

True. It is possible to interpret my comment that way. It's also possible to interpret it in any other way. I'm not responsible how people choose to take my message. I know what I'm trying to tell, and I try my best to see it through. I'm honestly just trying to help.

And I know you're just teasing, fair enough Cheesy

Well this is rediculous,
Stratis is now the most undervalued coin in coin market cap!

It has always been undervalued. That's why you should invest in it.
Sheeps go with the flow. They go to the slaughterhouse, if they are told to do so.
If you want to earn something, don't follow the sheeps. That's a bad strategy.

Swim against the current. It will pay off.
Seriously. I've been there.

Basically, the message is; 'Don't do what everybody else is doing' because 'everybody else is paying your profits'
And they are. Everybody cannot be millionares, somebody got to pay for it. That's why there are so few millionares - and so many sheeps.
