61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 06, 2020, 05:10:42 PM
The ICO coins that I got from the bounty since 2017 have become shitcoin. they have no value. some projects have become scam coin. until now there is no market to trade. I have sold ICO tokens that have a high value. The ICO coin that I still hold and have value is YOUC token. I got it from the bounty reward and will likely sell it when it enters the Binance DEX market.
Is YOUC officially going to binance DEX? That will be so cool, this ICO project is full of surprises, the reason why many ICO projects are dead today is lack of continues development, team probably already achieved their goals, Money of cos so they decide to abandon the project or let it bleed out, this is why is very important to follow whichever coin you are holding, sell once there is no good updates anymore
yes, they said on telegram that they will enter the Binance DEX exchange this December, or January at the latest. I do not know why I believe that YOUC tokens will increase in price when their product is launched and can be downloaded by everyone.

63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: has bitcoin achieved its goal? on: December 06, 2020, 03:44:35 AM
IMO, the very end (and ideal) goal of Bitcoin is for it to achieve widespread adoption. Until we are ready to ditch fiat and go for Bitcoin, that won't happen any time soon.
We still need a very long time to switch to payment methods using bitcoin. As long as speculators continue to profit from bitcoin's value to get a lot of fiats, then bitcoin will not be able to replace fiat money.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] How many of you have not "bought" bitcoin but still hold it on: December 05, 2020, 03:39:50 PM
At the beginning of my first introduction to Bitcoin, I was introduced by my neighbour, in 2015 to be precise. He taught me how to get bitcoins from faucet sites and participate in airdrops and give away. I continued to collect bitcoins until I sold them in mid-2017.

66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 04, 2020, 01:59:49 PM
Note that mobile wallet is used in small transactions and it also has its limitations. It can be easily stolen or broken from the hand. This increases the chances of losing the wallet. It can be easily hacked. As a result, it is not safe to keep a large number of coins or USD.
You are right. The risk of using a cellular wallet will be to lose money if their cellphone is lost or damaged. Unless they back up the private key and public key securely. But the problem is, many cellular wallet holders don't back up their private and public keys.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 03, 2020, 05:37:21 PM
It's becoming a frustrating issue when new project you have interest in have no mobile wallet, for over a year and half now I've waited for a project to built their mobile wallet but nothing so far, what are developers thinking? We are in an era where by mobility is the best choice for most people, who still sits in from on a computer just to send coins ? You also have to keep syncing the coin blockchain too to stay updated.

Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls
For me, mobile wallets only provide comfort and convenience in transactions. Not the most important thing. projects that provide service to mobile wallets are great, but I rarely use mobile wallets, so, if a project does not provide mobile wallet services it doesn't matter to me.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: December 03, 2020, 01:40:25 PM
I don't know if we're the same but in this school year (2020-2021) Bitcoin is now being introduced to our school, although it may not be introduced to other courses, since I am currently taking Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) hence, we are to take Bitcoin and the history of BTC. It's actually great that schools are putting Bitcoin to their curriculum, with that, I got to share my experience with Bitcoin, I got the chance to share my knowledge about the history of Bitcoin and how much I benefited from this.

I also decided to post it here because I think this is a big leap towards the future, from people doubting about Bitcoin and now, people are heavily relying on it, being informed, buying bitcoins, learning the ways on how to exactly earn bitcoins.
It is very nice. some countries have added bitcoin subjects. that means, more and more will recognize the advantages of bitcoin in its use. Maybe in the following days, all schools around the world will add bitcoin as a subject.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 is LIVE!! on: December 02, 2020, 06:26:34 AM
Hopefully, the arrival of Ethereum 2.0 will provide a higher speed of delivery and have a lower cost. We'll see how Ethereum performs in the following days.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explained - The Road to $100k Is Underway on: December 01, 2020, 12:11:22 PM
Getting to $ 100K per bitcoin will still take a long time. I never expected too much. I chose to sell when it was profitable and buy back at the right time. You don't have to wait until the price reaches $ 100K per bitcoin.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: The dream of Cypherpunks, libertarians and crypto-anarchists on: December 01, 2020, 08:39:52 AM
I agree that the sense of Bitcoin is anarchism and libertarian. Bitcoin is a digital currency that doesn't care about the country and the central bank. Monetary control, including exchange rates, rests entirely with the cross-border user community. The ideology of bitcoin is to remove money from social control, as well as the government.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can libra Facebook token be purchased now and where at on: December 01, 2020, 04:49:59 AM
I looked for an ico didn't fi d any but they said it. Would launch as early as January 2021 so surely there's an ico somewhere has anyone know where can purchase this token early?
Why do they have to sell it at the ICO? They already have very large funds and are supported by large companies. They don't need to sell it via ICO. After all, the Libra coin is a stable coin that pegs its price to the US dollar. Why would you buy it if you are aiming to make a profit?
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting ATH right now? on: November 30, 2020, 03:50:27 PM
I've just seen it hit $19841 on coindesk before dropping a little.

https://www.coindesk.com/price/bitcoin

I guess bitcoin will hit 35,000$ by 2021
I hope so. The bitcoin market in late 2020 and early 2021 will be very exciting, as the bull market is coming. 2021 is the year for the crypto community to rejoice.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any project with coin distribution?? on: November 30, 2020, 08:18:21 AM
Is there any current project distributing free coins or having Airdrops?

Or anyone giving free coins as start up.. let me know I will message the address
I have never participated in the airdrop program anymore. If you are looking for airdrops to get free coins or tokens, you can visit the site https://airdropalert.com/ Many projects make airdrop programs to be distributed to airdrop participants there. I used to use the platform it to get free tokens.

Even so, following the airdrop sometimes has no value, besides that many are not listed on the market. It is better to join the bounty campaign even though there are many scam projects, but there are also many that are legitimate and at least listed on exchangers
That I agree with. Especially joining the bounty campaigning for projects with a signature. the rewards given through the bounty program are much greater than the rewards from the airdrop program. However, the OP is still a beginner and does not yet understand the rules for bounty participants. We recommend that the OP start by joining the airdrop program.

76  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin are good and not USDT what else? on: November 30, 2020, 03:35:41 AM
Saving money in the bank is not profitable. Bitcoin has the volatility to earn faster profits. If I keep $ 100 in the bank, I will lose because there will be a deduction in my monthly fees. Conversely, if I save money in Bitcoin, I can benefit from the volatility in the value of bitcoins.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for knowledge on: November 28, 2020, 04:48:11 PM
Hi guys, I have a question for you all about crypto wallet, must a crypto wallet be fully open source to have peace while using them to store large amount of money? And is trust wallet a half baked open source wallet or full open source? Thank you
It's best not to keep too much money in a mobile wallet, even if it's decentralized and opensource. Many risks can occur if you save a lot of money on your cellphone. It's a good idea to keep a lot of money in a hardware wallet and keep it in a safe place.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dangers of buying bitcoin thru Paypal - real life example on: November 28, 2020, 03:23:53 PM
This is the reason why I never intended to use Paypal to buy bitcoin. They don't actually mean to let their users to buy and sell bitcoins. They just want to make money for themselves and control the activity of their users. They have more strict rules than any other wallet. This is the reason why I don't like to use this centralized wallet.
It is true. If we want to buy and sell bitcoin with a centralized platform, we should choose purchases that have a high rating such as Binance or Coinbase. Although it is not necessary to believe completely, at least both of them are more recommended than the other.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dangers of buying bitcoin thru Paypal - real life example on: November 28, 2020, 06:03:38 AM
That's why I don't trust PayPal when it comes to cryptocurrency. Storing bitcoin using PayPal services is a very big risk. Because the private key is only controlled by them.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen for Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2020, 03:30:10 PM
I think it would be great if Amazon accepted bitcoin as a payment method. bitcoin will be increasingly popular in all countries, this will increase the popularity of investors in the crypto world, a good impact for bitcoin because the price will be more expensive from year to year. I think investing in bitcoin is a promising investment for the future.
That is interesting. I still wish that bitcoin is recognized worldwide, and that we can pay bitcoins for purchases on any online shopping platform.

Bitcoin should be accepted everywhere. I believe that even big supermarkets will start taking Bitcoin. In several years our children will be used to this situation and call paper money something like the old-school stuff. Just let us wait.
Big supermarkets will accept bitcoin payments if the price of bitcoin is stable and has a speedy delivery of bitcoins. Currently, bitcoin's fluctuating nature cannot be used as a payment. Bitcoin still has a slightly expensive transfer fee, and it's also not very fast transfer. We are still waiting a long time for the time to come.
