61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: April 24, 2021, 08:43:30 PM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.
Judging by the way you asked, it seems you are in need of that $200 and it's like your life savings or your  entire portfolio, and putting all into crypto investment isn't wise ,investments are only done with money you set aside not with your entire portfolio, also investing in crypto doesn't mean you will get a guaranteed return, my advice to you is that you should split the money into 2, use $100 to invest in maybe bnb, eth or maybe dot, then use the other part to take care of yourself.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: April 21, 2021, 11:19:42 PM
Bitcoin has a massive crash and it's going to be down and down.
We enter a bear market. dark time for btc.
First time? Stop with the fud man, what proof do you have to back your claim of bitcoin entering into a bear market, none I bet, bitcoin crashing from $60,000 to $51,000 doesn't mean its gonnavturn bearish, remember before that fall crash, bitcoin already made a new all time high, so a correction was inevitable cause thats how the crypto market  works, its can't always be greens sometimes it turns red to shake off week hands like you before start pumping again.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 21, 2021, 11:04:56 PM
I believed that bitcoin will not last because of government policy is against bitcoin and many people is seeing bitcoin as a scam, so with such points I don't think bitcoin will stay till 2030, and if bitcoin stay till then that means it will stay till further notice.
Please am not here to criticised cryptocurrency but from the attacks government attacks crypto I think such will come in reality.

Why do you believe bitcoin won't last forever when you haven't been there, I don't think anyone now can predict if bitcoin will last forever or not, also one thing you don't know is that the government can't ban or stop bitcoin from existing except they shutdown the Internet, otherwise it will just be like the regular ban in most countries government place ban the citizens simply turn on their vpn and buy bitcoin through P2P, theres no stopping bitcoin know this and know peace.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: April 20, 2021, 10:58:35 PM
I would not change my crypto for any Tesla car. I still like cars with internal combustion engines even more. I like Porsche or Lamborghini better.
Same thought over here, if I has such amount of bitcoin in my wallet, I won't like to change my bitcoin to get a tesla, I would rather hodl then maybe use about $10k to get my self a nice ride, tesla is a great car but I'm not really into these autonomous stuffs, it would be cool but I think I would rather buy a car I can ride on my own less automatic stuffs, its funny but not everyone like the automatic stuffs.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a few beginner questions regarding crypto trading on: April 20, 2021, 10:18:47 PM
1. I would advice you to stay away from coinbase it's still unclear the main reason they lock up people's accounts and decide not to give them access back to their account  or the funds in the account, to avoid being in such drama just use your personal wallet for storing your crypto.

3. Exchanges are often targeted by hackers and leaving your funds on exchanges will only add to whatever the hackers stand to gain if they eventually hack into the exchange's account, it's best you stored your coins in your probate wallet rather than leaving them on the exchange, personal wallets are much safer than exchanges.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm wondering who trades with paid signals? on: April 20, 2021, 10:04:41 PM
Good afternoon to all traders. I have 6 years of experience as a trader, and here I have a question for everyone

Are there people here who want to join a team of traders and receive tone signals?
Yes, there are still people who rely on trading signals to buy or sell in the crypto market, I feel those are people who have had bad experience trading on their own and now they prefer taking instructions from our traders who are deemed trading experts, if your signals are cheap and has a good win rate, I bet you would get some people who are interested here.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season ending in may ? on: April 19, 2021, 09:49:12 PM
The crypto market is very unpredictable, no one can tell you when the altcoins season will end same way no one can see the future, just like the dip that happened Saturday being Sunday,it not certain that the altcoin season will end by May cause the bull run isn't stopping anytime soon, the whole of this year might probably be bullish it's possible, but be careful when buying altcoins this days they are going crazy both in greens and reds.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD Vs. USDT on: April 19, 2021, 09:30:26 PM
Is BUSD no much different from USDT?

Which do you prefer?
Both of them seem alike, I make use of usdt more cause it's listed on more exchanges than the BUSD that's only on Binance exchange for now, I only make use of BUSD when I'm trading on Binance exchange, since Binance are starting to make more pairs with BUSD and slowly trying to push usdt, still usdt is better because it runs two blockchains and it's listed on all exchanges.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot Good For Future? on: April 18, 2021, 10:30:36 PM
Some Defi Coins play very well on crypto market. Is it good time to invest in Polkadot Coin?
Polkadot is a very good good because of its features, it is compared to Ethereum so you should know what that means, Polkadot is a really project and its still growing its community, although it's not all that popular like Ethereum but I think dot will do exceedingly well in the future, if you are planning to invest in it then do that, cause it's certain that it will pay of someday dot is a $100  coin, buy and hold now its still early.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first two ICOs will be Mina and ECO. Good idea? on: April 18, 2021, 10:04:33 PM
Mina ICO was conducted on coin list platform, and I heard over a 100k people registered, although the allocation got finished and there were still over  50,000 participants remaining, I hope you were among the first set cause from what I heard everyone who was able to get an allocation have all became rich since mina pumped from $30 to $100, the pump was really something else,i don't know much about eco, I will check it out now you have mentioned it.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin high fee has brought dogecoin to limelight on: April 18, 2021, 09:38:26 PM
Apart from Elon musk hyping dogecoin these past months that got price hanging at $0.05 now the price has gone skyrocket. The skyrocket price of doge I believe is becayof the high fees of bitcoin transaction.

Dogecoin is proving to be a more optional coin to bitcoin and that is undoubtedly pushing price high and for the first time dogecoin has made a return to faithful hodlers. Grin Roll Eyes
Dogecoin pumping doesn't have anything to do with the transaction fee cost on bitcoin blockchain, dogecoin is pumping because of the Elon Musk tweets about it and its community of moon boys, u don't see any reason why it will pump because transaction on bitcoin is more expensive, I mean we have trx that's offering almost free transactions, there are other cryptocurrencies that transactions are even free, so I doubt if dogecoin pumped because of bitcoin transaction cost is high.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: April 17, 2021, 10:38:47 PM
I don't think BNB is that fast any more and besides the gas fee has also increased over the years, currently it cost about $0.24 per transaction last time I checked though, who knows if the transaction might rise till $1 someday, eventually the gas fee might go over a dollar, so I think Ethereum will remain king over all altcoins, bnb might remain as third in coin ranking who knows, although I'm bullish on bnb after the last burn.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Million BNB Burnt today on: April 17, 2021, 09:37:28 PM
The burn is already done? Why is the price keeps dropping then?
Burn has been done and prices are still going down. You should be aware that we all don't know when Binance buy back tokens to burn. So even though currently the token has been burned, it will not affect the price.
Because it could be that yesterday BNB went up high is the effect of the buyback
I think price is down because bnb pumped alot last week, so it's still correcting, maybe when it's done with the correction, then the 1 million burnt bnb hype will start then we might see bnb pumping insanely again, now seems like the best time to buy before it starts pumping crazily cause buying the dip is always a good way to make profit, but as usual our emotions won't let us and later we'll regret not buying bnb at the current price now.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: April 17, 2021, 09:30:21 PM
maybe it can happen. Elon musk just needs to tweet about doge every week and doge will go up to $1or even higher than that. but it's not a thing that will last, without a real use case it won't be able to survive even if it has gone up high. And I'm sure Elon Musk's influence won't last forever. there will be times when he loses his influence.
I once had a doubt about dogecoin reaching 10cents but now I don't know what to think of this meme coin anymore it's trading over 30cents I guess, now I have a feeling dogecoin can reach $1 for sure, just as you said with more Elon Musk's tweets we can see dogecoin reaching it, Elon is literally turning this meme coin into something else his followers are just so carry about any meme tweet about dogecoin.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: April 17, 2021, 09:14:18 PM
Ethereum is not going die just because of the crazy hgas fees it having now, the ETH 2.0 release will solve that issue hopefully, but no doubt due to the high gas fees Ethereum as gave way for other projects like BNB and  DOT to shine, BNB has benefited more since its offer cheaper gas fees and unlike the Binance Smart Chain is just like Ethereum, so it was easy for people to just blockchain that is just like Ethereum, but offers lesser gas fees than eth.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: April 17, 2021, 09:05:47 PM
No need joining the group to know that altcoins will never be able to flip bitcoin at the top, if you look closely now the marketcap of bitcoin alone is x4 of Ethereum's, and fun fact Ethereum is second place in coin ranking, so if Ethereum is that far off bitcoin even when it's one of the main foundations of most projects then I dont think any coin can flip bitcoin now or ever, people will always choose bitcoin as the king.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government ban on crypto on: April 14, 2021, 05:02:12 AM
I'm not convinced Bitcoin would be banned in the USA.  Gold has a market cap of 10-11 trillion dollars and it is not being banned.  Bitcoin just touched the trillion dollar market cap.  It will take decades to even come close to Gold's market cap imho.
Getting banned doesn't really matter what marketcap it has, the government can place ban on bitcoin for a stoopid reason, but even if they do place ban on bitcoin, it's never going to affect your bitcoin in your wallet, because the bitcoin is urs and no one can take it from you, also the government placing ban on bitcoin is a big joke, its just like locking a gate that has no fence  Cheesy, the citizens will still make use of bitcoin no matter how tight the restriction is in their country.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall to Zero? Possible or not? on: April 14, 2021, 04:47:43 AM
Here are some scenerios that can cause the price of btc to fall drastically. (In my opinion, it is highly unlikely and the possibility very slim).
(1) No way to trade bitcoin or exchange it for goods and services.
(2) All governments of the world placing a ban on bitcoin and bitcoin related activities making it highly illegal.
(3) The entire bitcoin network and nodes going offline making it impossible to even make underground transactions in bitcoin.
(4) Another crypto overtaking bitcoin and value and more people shifting investment to this new crypto.

source
Bitcoin is trading over $63k now and you are trying to tell me there's a possibility for me to buy cheap bitcoins?, stop giving me false hopes man, we both know none of these things been listed will make bitcoin to back to zero, expecially the no. 2 about government placing ban on bitcoin, over the years we have seen some governments placing ban on bitcoin, and yet their citizens still make use of it, the government can't ban a decentralized currency, because even the government don't have control over it.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB is at it's peak price? on: April 13, 2021, 10:15:22 PM
Wanna know that should i hold my investment or do day by day trading. And now its at 500$/BNB. Convert them or keep them and wait for pump?
No one can tell, what I can say is that bnb still has alot of room to grow in terms of price, we can see how the price pumped crazily two days ago, we could see that again and maybe this time he could go all the way up to $700, I would advice you to hold your bnb even though no one knows tomorrow, i still believe bnb can go up to $1400 before the bull run eventually ends.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum GAS fee so high? on: April 12, 2021, 10:06:46 AM
Why ethereum GAS fee is so high?
Is there any possibility of fee reduction?
What are the factors are responsible for increasing or decreasing the fee?
Ethereum gas fees are very high lately all because the price of Ethereum is pumping and the network is congested with so many pending transactions, imagine 1,000 people want to make a transaction at a particular time, the Ethereum Network can't handle such so the congestion will make it treat transactions with higher fees as priority and others with lower fees will have to wait.
