Can anyone tell me why You keep deleting my posts? I've asked some questions and raised some concerns. I expected answer and got deleted. Lol.
No FUD, just asking.
That behavior put you in line with old devs...

This is the exact reason certain people cried for a moderated forum, so ANYONE with a valid, but different opinion can be silenced. All this does it bring a false sense of security when no one can question what anyone is doing with this, or any other coin for that matter.  All I said was sigt was doomed and the Devs should create a new coin and my post gets deleted
Same here, asked how many sigt devs are holding in stash. It's bad question/FUD spreading ? Probably answer is Wink

The requirement of this airdrop is high. I want to know how many shares each member can get. Besides, can you provide a pool for mining?
Did I miss something? AFAIK OP didn't post Airdrop rules yet.

what i'm not understand; by the coin swap the supply will reduce to 34,375,000 + 6,875,000 (Premine Dev fee) + 2,750,000(treasury fund) = so new blockchain starts with about 44,000,000 sigt 2.0
There will also re-introduce PoW as well as incorporate Masternodes.

what will the new max supply?  Huh
As website stated yesterday there is no MAX supply.

 Huh Huh Huh
There is currently no cap on maximum coin supply. This means that in the current state, Signatum supply will continue to increase at a rate of 5% per annum through PoS The current, which has not proven to be particularly popular in the community. The supply of approximately 137,000,000 coins, also effectively renders it impossible to add Masternodes or re-introduce PoW in its current state. Earnings for both would ultimately be rendered too low for anyone to be interested in either, especially considering the decline in demand and coin valuation. We have therefore taken the necessary steps to reduce the circulating supply, by introducing a 4:1 swap on the fork. This means that if you hold 100,000 coins today, you will receive 25,000 coins on the new blockchain in exchange. Theoretically, this should not impact the value of your coins, as market cap will organically readjust to accommodate for the change in circulating supply. In theory this means that your coins will be worth 4x current value on the new blockchain. The total coin supply will be reduced from the current 137,000,000 to 34,375,000.

In current state no max supply. But in the new chain they will create, will we have max supply there? That is the question.
And with POS coin, can there be max supply?
Yup, after all coins are created, stakers get transactions fee as staking reward Smiley
Well, they didn't state anywhere that they want to introduce max supply. So right now we can assume that there is no max.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [pre-ANN] Multy.io - open source multi cryptocurrency wallet on: October 23, 2017, 12:17:35 PM
okay, I'm very curious about the progress of your ambitious project
but first, it seems like you have to explain a lot of this, maybe you have a website that can explain?

Thanks for the reply. We are only working on the project and the main point now is to understand the needs of the community: maybe complains on the existing wallets, some advice or suugestions - all are welcome.

Some basic information you can find here: https://golos.io/multy/@multy/multy-mobile-open-source-multi-blockchain-wallet
It's in Russian, infortunately.
So let me introduce to you the core features of the project:
- support of the eading blockchain protocols and meta-protocols
- open source: https://github.com/Appscrunch (code will appear a bit later)
- iOS, Android, OSX, Win, Linux, Web
- transcations directly with the declared chains in order to gurantee the security of the chains themselves
- one single seed-phrase
- generation of private keys on the basis of a single passphrase for all protocol files is performed in accordance with BIP 32, 39 and 44 standards. For the purposes of generating private keys for different block libraries, the derivation path coin_type segment is used. coin_type is registered with chaingear
- encrypted storing of all application data on the device
- checking the balance from all the wallet addresses
- receiving payment details via QR code, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS coordinate mapping
- currency exchange inside the application using different exchangers: Shapeshift, Changely, etc
- portfolio management of the assets and statistics of profitability of the blockchain-assets
- alert-code
- reset of all application data by SMS
- can be used as POS terminal
- no comissions
- voting for the next integrated currency

So, what do you think about it?
That (if possible) would be huge. But for some reason we still don't have staking mobile wallets :x
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum 2.0 on: October 23, 2017, 11:54:04 AM
When will hard fork happen? Is there new wallet release with hard fork implementation?

Yes, a new wallet will be made available, as Signatum 2.0 will use a more up to date Algorithm, the details of this will be updated in a formal manner on the website. Full details of the coin swap will take place on November the 29th.

Could you please clarify the actual amount of premine? 28% is not just 28%. You have a premine for swap, is it 28% of that or total supply?
And when we swap, will we loose the sigt 1.0 coins in the process?

Not to be negative, but it is important for us to know the excact amount of funds devs are getting to truly want to support sigt 2.0.
They are taking 20% premine for themselves and 8% for treasure found.
Well... It's same situation as before, but now they have premine + old coins they'll swap Wink

It is not the same as before. Before it was markedet as no pre mine. Now they are letting us know before swapping about pre mine in new chain. There will be a fund for new exchanges etc which were lacking because of no premine in sigt 1. And they got incentive to work hard. Remember they have full time jobs and some probably got families, you need incentive to set aside enough time to get some decent development. BUT, if it is 20% of all coins not of the pre mine then it is too much.
Don't get fooled or don't spread confussion. They'll use 8% for those actions. 20% is incentive for dev team.
Well. I never get paid before i did something. To be clear and transparent, team should show they stashes they gonna swap Wink
I don't think it'll be any surprise if combined with premine they'll be top 10 richlist.
So as they stated on website. Premine for swap - 28% of this premine is setted aside. They took those 8% and make treasury found. And they split rest 20% on themselves.
Well. I'd not put a penny into new SIGT. It should solve problems of old SIGT but apparently same s*it will happen.
Only real difference is that they TOLD they gonna premine. But also they want PoW back - do You see simillarities to Doc & rest ? Cheesy
Well, team be transprent. Right now, It's like "We want to rescue SIGT, so we'll take major part of new SIGT2.0 and act like we're doing good for people, not want to get our money back from newbies that will be caught'.
So please. SIGT addresses of dev team, Premine plans for those 20% (~200k $?).
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Solo Mining ?? ++ Rewards for Solution on: October 22, 2017, 07:42:24 PM
500 DGB is the Rewad for the solution....

I want to do solo mining.

I installed the wallet of any alt-coin on Windows x64. This is the server computer. (NO GPU is installed.)
The other computers will connect to this one.

I have 5 mining rig with gpu.
How will I connect the gpu-rigs to the computer which the wallet is installed ?

-URL part will be local IP of the server computer.
-Port number will be set on modem and I will aloow it on firewall.

Username & password & algorithm ?

First what coin are you going to mine?
That answer will solve most of Your problems. If You are looking for DGB - you have no other choices than setting pool for your own (using Yiimp for example) because wallet dont support RPC get-work anymore.
If you are looking for mining from different machines at once You'll probably need to setup stratum anyway for job handling.

Dev I'v got a problem
I have old wallet 1.0.0.0 now I've downloaded a new version but i get en error
"wallet.dat is damaged, recovery unsuccessful"
I deleted all from roaming\bitcoinplanet folder except wallet.dat.
So - how can I get my wallet work with new version?
Try exporting private keys from debug console  - "dumpprivkey XXXXXXXX" type your wallet address instead of XXXXXXX in your old wallet (v 1.0), and use "importprivkey YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" in new wallet (paste numbers you gett from dumpprivkey command)
Thanks. It worked. But now I have 2 addresses. Is there any way to delete unused address?
Tbh I don't know Cheesy There is no way under RMB on in console that I know. But You could always rename it to something fancy and never use it Wink

What is the problem with the wallet at exchanges like Cryptopia?

Hi ..all other exchanges are working fine (you can confirm the status in main post of this ANN) except Cryptopia. They have already been contacted and i have not heard anything back from them. I spoke to one of the mods and i was told that Cryptopia does not use fast sync/snapshot to sync chain due to security reasons and rather rely on manual sync from base. If this is the case, then it could take some time and i am only assuming this is the issue due to the lack of response from Cryptopia.
Well, I also contacted them and tbh they start acting like Yobit. They responded with standard formula (since I'm not dev) that they are "Working on issue and will enable withdrawals as soon as maintance is complete". For me, saying that they are doing manual sync is piece of sh. Or they server is. Even on my Pi 3, whole clean installation with all dependencies, building and sync took not more than 16h. On my PC full clear install with full sync took 7h.
Someone before accused them of frozing wallets (pos) and dumping stakes. Well it could really be an issue, after halving they have wallet working for... 2 days?
One of mine lost sync for while after that, whole issues. Cryptopia makes bad image for 1337! :c

hi 808ers..
i am new here to 808 and i am looking for some good PoS coins..
as i am not new to PoS coins i wanted to ask if there is any place where i could see the calculation data for staking rewards? or if there is a hint how big i could split my block in order to optimize my staking?

and if there is nothing like that if somebody could explain me how the mechanism in this coin works?

thanks for your answers

Don't split it at all. Right now you need over 500k coins to stake at 8-9 day (for 17-9% stake reward)

would it not make more sense to split the coins into 500k block in order to have stakes every day?
You can't have stake everyday other way than having ~10  x 1 m blocks inputed day after day because of 8 DAYS stake maturity.
If You're spliting - You don't take adv of compounding. Just check it in Excel when you multiply 1.17 x 1.17 x 1.17 x ... x 1.17
You'll easily find that getting % of % in this ratio (808% yearly) is your highway Cheesy

that is only one part of the math, or not? getting the reward is based on luck (as usual in PoS) and this luck factor is expressed in the time factor and by the weight of the block it self? as it competes with the other blocks in the chain to get the reward. so if i have multiple blocks i also have multiple chances to get the reward?
Yup, but your blocks (since only one block can stake for chain confirmation) starts to compete against eachother. And also 10 x 10% chance to mint doesn't mean 100% Wink
So if 1m block will have 100% chance to stake at 8 day (let's assume that), 10x 100k blocks will have 10% chance each at 8 day. But since there is fixed number of blocks daily, and only one block stakes at time in whole network, your 10 blocks will have effectively less chance to stake at 8 day, because of their : 1. low weight 2. High network weight 3. Affecting network by each other (you are pumping network weight by 1m) 4. Competing against each other in order to stake
I dont know exact POS formula but I always understood it like this: Luck (stake)= [Your coins * time(weight)]/Overall amount of staking coins (Network weight)
Since here we have 8 day lock period (stake maturity), You cannot control Network Weight against Your weight once inputed. So having one big input that nearly guarantee stake after 8 days is better than few smaller.

I don't think it'll go to zero. It's cap at 90 days  and stay at it until You mint.

Good Luck BTPL Smiley
