Is been long we have been hearing this news about Nigeria adopting blockchain technology, there was even a time the central bank of Nigeria said the were considering adopting it, well all i can say is the are all rumors until see tangible actions. Maybe Cryptogene Could ginger up the process considering the fact that it is an indigenous coin, but am a little bit skeptical if the team has what it takes to soften the minds of the government. Considering the situation at the moment, government has showed their interest through the apex bank. It's now left for individuals and private entities to do their part. In other countries that cryptocurrency and blockchain are blooming now didn't start with the government, rather individuals and organisations. When that is done, government will actually align. That's why I applaud the place of cryptogene in driving this technology in Africa. Oh i see, i think you are right, so inorder words you are saying that the Nigerian Government will follow suit if the see that people are embracing the technology. Just a quick one, for people to embrace this technology, especially the cryptogene project, the developers really need to get to the minds of the people, entice them, really show that the out for business, is the team up to that task? No matter how hard people try to imitate a project, there are always things to look for which distinguishes that project from clones. Are there any steps being taken to help the investors disguise clones so as not to be scammed?
This will in turn show that the Cryptogene Team has the interest of its investors at heart.

After conducting a lot of research, Cryptogene decided that it would build its own blockchain (in the long term)
using an already existing blockchain like Ethereum as a guide. However, Cryptogene would be utilizing a dual blockchain technology otherwise known as BLOCKSWAP for its crowdsale. The blockchains Waves and Ethereum would pave way to access the advantages of both blockchains, while we develop our blockchain (Tailored specifically to the needs of the African continent) on the long run. This blockchain would be launched with SILK on our roadmap.
In order words we should be expecting a blockchain similar to that of bitcoin and at the same time embedded with etheruem blockchain to enable it run smart contracts. Thats an amazing ideas, but the question is doing something like this requires a lot of man power and resources, am just being skeptical, do we have them? |

And the tokens will exist on both platforms
As an ERC20 token and also a waves token. I used to think I was a token based strictly on waves platform before now until someone clarified this point for me meaning it a using one srone to Jill two birds kinda token if u know what I mean
Yea the Cryptogene Token exist on waves plaform, while the smart contracts which is the area am more interested in will run on the etheruem platform. So i guess we should be expecting a cryptogene blockchain platform embedded with both waves and etheruem platforms. |

That reminds me, now we have mentioned about Havene, Havene is one of the base platforms that drew me to this project. From what i read, Havene is meant to solve the problem of low efficient cross boarder transaction, but i still don't understand how this can be achieved.

I was happy when I heard that there is a wanna be Russian fake version of Cryptogene not because frauds are good but neither only takes a good project to have a counterfeit. This is to say that for these guys to have decided to try to pirate this project it's because there is something. I used to have a friend that practically disturbed me to buy Etherium at 10usd but I didn't
It would be bad to be a regular visitor of this thread and not partner with this project so you don't make the mistake I made.
Not only that I heard their is also a fake Cryptogene bitcoin trading group on telegram. Pls everyone should stick to only information here and Cryptogene twitter. People can be funny I heard about that too, is indeed annoying, the are trying to scam people using a cloned Cryptogene Exchange (Havene). Havene is one of the base platforms initiated by the Cryotogene Project to solve the issue of inefficient cross boarder transactions mainly in Africa. |

Why title of the thread says ICO was 24 Sep 2017 when it didn't start yet? I think late October or maybe November would be a good start. Main priority is a complete team with solid advisers and some promotional tours to strengthen community and support. I don't quite understand your question, can you please rephrase it. However the Cryptogene ICO started on 24th September, is meant to be a two months ICO, so that means we are expected to complete the ICO on 24th November. |

Is definitely a mistake we should try as much as possible not to repeat, investing in the Cryptogene ICO is a step in the right direction, the benefit of participating in this ICO outweighs any doubt we might have. |

Am certain is a virus which can be used to hack your system probably in an attempt to steal valuable information about you. Good Evening Great Minds, is funny the extend people could go just to scam honest investors, i just discovered that one of the on-going ICO's is a scam.
The website, total sales, etc were all manipulated. We all need to be very careful, good thing we have the Cryptogene ICO which is backed up with a honest and transparent team that aim at helping Africans through education, implementation of blockchain related services.
