Binance is the best exchange so far, they handle almost all things perfectly from the ui of their exchange, promotion, coin listing, not to mention they have a great mobile app to use. I also have a good experience with their customer service which is very important for exchange with million of usd daily volume.
For me, binance is the best exchange because of its reliable to our traders and I think binace is secured all the time. I prefer decentralized exchanges. It does not matter to me how many users they have, how much trading, and whether there is a nice interface. Binance has no issues when it comes to exchanging because of its transaction fee and there is only few of token or strict to the tokens that is listed there. My favorite exchange is binance at the moment they had an issue last time but still binance has more active and larger trading volume. What really matters to me is security and the ability to work without trust to third parties. I believe in the atomic swap and the concept of decentralized exchanges, and therefore I love famous BitShares. In addition, I keep my BitShares and EOS there. The first and foremost thing I would personally look in the ICO would be the idea and concept behind their project. For me, any project that doesn't have any good idea behind it would not survive in the long run and hence it would be useless to invest the money in it. Great ideas are likely to succeed and get a better response from the public. I would definitely research and find out the team and developers because if a team doesn't have good developers, then it is pretty likely to go in a decline. Good developers create a better product which results in a greater response from the public.
Usually I look for something that can pays me. As much as possible, they already have a working product and they just want to improve it because many ICOs have a plan and when the ICO is done. Maybe earning in crypro does not mean doing bounty campaigns for what you are trying to elaborate is about ending bounty due to the number of participants. When I go for an altcoin, 1st I read the white paper, if I am satisfied , i go through the roadmap then I go ahead to check the caliber of people behind the project, I see if they achieved their previouz roadmap within the stipulated period and to check if there are efforts put in place to achieve future roadmap afterwards I see what people think about the coin on forums like reddit , bitcointalk and lastly I check the total market cap before I invest my hard earned money on the alt.
The first thing first is to not put all your money into one altcoin. Same thing but with a simple twist. Always remember that the price of altcoin is depending on the price of btc. Buy low and sell high is the basic thing though a much thorough comparison nor allignement must be made between the alt coin and to whatever currency you used. So when the price of btc going down, the price of altcoins usually going down too. So basically, You must be watching the adjustments of both coins. And monitor the price all the time. You cant track who stole your coins,and you can get it back! its your fault not ours if you could have some good hardwallet or atleast metamask extension installed you wont be hacked easily as these two basic things are enough to protect you from phishing sites and malware and viruses from your infected computer,and you still wont need to worry about your keys.
