61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ripple on: January 02, 2018, 05:03:45 PM
It is really a no brainer. Bitcoin have lost its momentum, might actually go down below $10k.
Ripple have barely started and will see huge gains

Bitcoin is going to crash badly in 2018

Everyone knows what a shitcoin it is and are selling their Bitcoins.
Watch it drop below $10k very soon
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell all my ripple on: January 01, 2018, 05:11:08 PM
Selling Ripple right now to buy BTC would be like shooting yourself in the foot. Research the company, look at the potential for 2018 and you will see this is just the tip of the iceberg. I mean if you must, at least wait till it's added to coinbase or until they announce another xRapid partnership.

Amen. Well said.

Bitcoin have a huge chance of crashing in 2018 too. Everyone now sees how much of a shitcoin Bitcoin really is
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: January 01, 2018, 04:05:52 PM
Yes it will. Very soon I predict.
Bitcoin will come crashing in the coming months in 2018. Its dropped ever since 20k and doesnt have the momentum to go up again.

Bitcoin is a shitcoin. A glorified shitcoin.
Yes it was the original cryptocoin and have made the way for the cryptospace to grow and thrive.
But today its a dead shitcoin.
It consumes so much electricity just to have the network running. It painfully slow. The network steals your money everytime some does a transaction because the fees are so high. It have forked to several subcoins because people cant agree and is soon forking more.
Bitcoin is mined today by the wealthiest miners that can afford expensive farms or hardware that overcome the laughable high resistance on the network, the rest are nothing more than investors. Investing on a shitcoin.

Time to move on. People are dumping their Bitcoins for something else today like XRP and Ripple, and I suggest you people do the same because odds are high that Bitcoin will drop bigtime in 2018. Unless you want to go down with it.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin alternatives in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 03:50:08 PM
I guess in 2018 Bitcoin will surprise us all, when price will go to $100k. Maybe this time will be spring.

Or it could crash since most are now discovering what a crapcoin Bitcoin really is

I don't really think Bitcoin will hit that $100k mark this time. There's a lot of new Altcoins that could break Bitcoin's dominance in the future. People would prefer to invest into other Altcoins that will guarantee price increase than Bitcoin.

Yes exactly. There are several altcoins that are so much better than the shitcoin Bitcoin.

Btw people are referring to altcoins as altcoins because Bitcoin was the first. Once Bitcoin dies and go down, are altcoins really altcoins? They all should be called cryptocoins if you ask me
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple replacing Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 03:46:42 PM
We all know Ripple is centralized run by bankers, why should Ripple replacing Bitcoin, its really big difference. Bitcoin is the first technology that offers trustless decentralized system and many people feel have advantages because of it. Why should a centralized system replace Bitcoin.

Its as simple as why no one is using Altavista or AskJeeves anymore. They were the first search engines but was replaced by Google and Yahoo.

Same will be said about Bitcoin and Ripple. Bitcoin is just a crappy coin. Its controlled by the wealthiest miners and it just sucks in so many ways.

Some people need to stop clinging on to the past and embrace the future
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people buying Ripple? on: January 01, 2018, 02:37:33 PM
  • it is explicitly (or at least formerly) not considered a currency
  • it is centralized (the company can freeze accounts if it wants, create more coins, or be sued)
  • it's major use case is for inter-bank transfers. So if Bank A and Bank B was to exchange currency x for y, they will use XRP in-between. But this gives no value to the currency itself, it is just used as an intermediary. Is it conceivable that Ripple the company will not have enough XRP for these internal bank transfers and they are going to have to buy them back from the public??

So it seems that XRP has no value outside its use by the company Ripple. Is anyone actually using it for commerce or any other reason? It is not considered a store of value like bitcoin (in any case one would want something decentralized.

People dislike Ripple because its centralized and its tech is used by banks. Whatever the case, buying Ripple now that its hot in the market is good if you want to profit.

You mean a very few ignorant people dislike Ripple because they see that banks will use it. They stopped reading about Ripple there because if they continued they would see that banks have zero control of Ripple or RippleNet. No entity control RippleNet. Its a decentralized system for quick payments for you and me.

Anyone that dislike Ripple because banks use it, need to take off their tinfoil hat and face the fact that banks will never lose or go down.

Anyone that supports the shitcoin Bitcoin that steal your money with high fees, and talks crap abput Ripple that is almost free to use, should be ignored.

70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Price Prediction in January? on: January 01, 2018, 02:26:42 PM
my prediction Ripple coin will cost $ 3 in january 2018, so if you invest in Ripple coin I suggest you sell it at the end of 2018.

Indeed, there's no guarantee that Ripple will stay stable or the number one highest Altcoin in the market because in the near future there's another good coin player will come out.
That's why if we're going to invest for $2 dollars then after a couple of months it will hit $4 to $5 then its better to dump it if you're planning to earn from your investment, otherwise you an hold your coins at your own risk.

ripple should not be considered an altcoin or cryptocurrency at all, people should instantly react that ripple is not a cryptocurrency

There's no way Ripple being called another thing except Cryptocurrency, how'd that be possible? A coin that has a value like fiat should be called Cryptocurrency and if it's not Bitcoin then it is an Altcoin. Don't you get the point why people react If you keep on establishing your perception about Ripple?

Shhh, you will ruin his day down in the basement where he sits with his tinfoil hat and spread fud all day long   Cheesy
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Live presentation using Ripple Credit Card on ATM on: January 01, 2018, 01:42:52 PM
fuck off ripple is a shit scam coin

I just show you an example to what XRP can be used for. And this is your response?
Dont be afraid of a change, of something thats much better.

The only scamcoin are all those with high fees that steal your money. That includes Bitcoin  Wink

I don't give one shit about your example because it makes zero sense to anyone that understands decentralised trustless systems.

Let me give you an example.

This board is for decentralised trustless crypto currency.

TRUSTLESS DECENTRALISED

Ripple = narrowly distributed manipulated and colluded dirt. It can now NEVER be trustless - you can not transition through a period of trust at any stage of the journey to become trustless.

See these are not comparible.

Do you start to see now???

You cant have a distribution that goes like

we will give it out for free.... actually no fuck off we will keep it all ourselves.

This is a obviously manipulated and controlled bag of dirt.

It may be useful to those that created it and control it but you can not compare it to trustless decentralised crypto currencies.

I am not afraid of it I just don't like people comparing things and pretending they are comparing on a level playing field when they are not.

Of course you can.

They have locked down 55 billion XRPs in escrows. Only 1 billion gets released each month. To be used on growth of the Network. Not to sell for their own gain.
That removes any possibility of shorting the system by selling all the XRPs.

The nodes are scattered across the globe. Nobody owns the majority. It can live on if Ripple goes bankrupt in the future. Thats the very definition of decentralized.
Bitcoin however can be wrecked by a 51% attack. 5 biggest mining pools can do a majority attack.
So much for Bitcoin safety...

Ripple cannot be forked, its united.
Bitcoin is forking all over the place. If anything is dirt, well that is Bitcoin.

Yet some ignorant people think Bitcoin is the future. Well thats wrong. Dead wrong.
Same about the fud that some people parroting about Ripple. Very little of it is true

I really hate ripple and all those who is supporting it! We are here for a reason, but most of the people mostly newbies who learned about block chain 1 months ago , they are here to earn money, you know what in the end we will see what is gonna happen

I really hate ignorant people like you that havent read a single word about Ripple.

«Here to make money»
No we are here to support super fast and cheap payments for the people.

We do not however support shitcoins like Bitcoin that STEAL peoples money with high fees not to mention super slow transactions. Y

The only people that doesnt get it are the one who isnt supporting Ripple. Time for a revolution. Bitcoin and other have had its spotlight. Time to move on to something for the future.

Who are you payed by? And how many profiles here you have? lol Cheesy Cheesy

Im paid by no one. I own several cryptocoins, but Ripple is the one with the most potential.
I am here to correct all the FUD thats been going on from insecure and defensive people that is afraid their coin will go down in value because of Ripple.  Smiley
Which is wrong, because many coins can exist together and have reat success together
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple replacing Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 01:28:24 PM
I think that in 2018 Ripple will be the preferred coin and will take over as the biggest network by a good margin. Money is already moving away from Bitcoin and people are selling it for XRP and other cryptocoins.

Im glad to see people finally see that the true «shitcoin» is Bitcoin.

It is painfully slow, it takes away peoples money because transactions are very expensive, and it consumes a whole country worth of electricity because it is so inefficient and requires so much computer power just to have it running. In addition its forking left and right because miners cant agree on something and its anarchy there now.

Good joke bro.  Grin

Bitcoin will be the king of crypto forever,if you think bitcoin will be replaced by ripple because it is in second rank on coinmarket cap then ethereum should done it because ethereum has been in second place on marketcap value for long time.
Crypto investors please stay away from ripple because it was centralized and it was controlled by the banksters which is opposite to the basic properties of cryotocurrency.

Sorry, people are already dumping their Bitcoins for Ripple. Go watch any marketview and you will see.

Nobody control RippleNet. Not even Ripple. If Ripple goes under, the network will still live on.
Because its decentralized.

Go educate yourself instead of acting so ignorant  Wink

Superfast with XRP deducted from the account in seconds!

This is the future. XRP and Ripple  Cool

XRP and many Banks have cooperation, and indeed XRP is probably the future direction of the bank, so I'm very bullish on XRP.

American Express have already signed on and will use XRP within 6 months.
Hundreds and hundreds of banks are in the progress of joining Ripple.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) is a shame to the crypto-community. on: January 01, 2018, 01:12:30 PM
To be honest, i don't know what to make of all the attention that Ripple is getting.  For a project being widely claimed that to be manipulated and the fact that it seems Ripple is the way into crypto that Bankers have been plotting, the trading volume of XRP is beyond insane IMHO.  Funny enough, this success has come about partly as a result of people not doing much research into the project but investing regardless.  This tends to happen with any coin/project which rises in value, because people don't want to miss out, they believe the hype and jump on board.
Unfortunately, even as the project is being run by bankers, in a bid to make quick returns,  the crypto community is essentially propping the project up.

Err, you got that all wrong. The only people claiming it to be manipulated are the one that is butthurt they own Bitcoins or any other coin that didnt see this success.
The same people are the ones that keep parroting the same BS over and over again about Ripple and they have never read anything about it so they spread lies because they are insecure.

«The people» are actually investing on XRP and Ripple which is why it is the second biggest coin out there now with a growth exceeding any other cryptocurrency and will probably overtake Bitcoin this year.  Wink

I'm waiting dump to 1$ or lower. It's not mineble coin = uncontolled shitcoin
That will never happen again. Sorry  Wink

Bitcoin isnt mineable either, you need a very expensive asic to do that. Bitcoin is nothing more than a investment project at this point. A horrible investment project.
So I guess that makes Bitcoin a shitcoin too then?
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple replacing Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 12:06:46 PM
Ripple is very centralized crypto. Plus it has the founders, but BTC don't. I suppose it's the best advantage of BTC. But in my opinion the failure of Sigwit2X (in Nov) was the beginning of the end because it has very obvious problems with the transactions speed at the moment.

Actually even here Ripple is far safer and better than Bitcoin.
Decentralization of Ripple means it will be more decentralized than Bitcoin can ever be.
Read about their plans here:
https://ripple.com/insights/how-we-are-further-decentralizing-the-ripple-consensus-ledger-rcl-to-bolster-robustness-for-enterprise-use/

In addition we have Bitcoin breaking up with forks everywhere. There are plans for even more forks.
That is not possible with Ripple. Ripple is united while Bitcoin is falling apart.

Abandon ship
