62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: July 24, 2017, 12:40:47 PM
Hi, i have a PC with the following configuration:

Processor: Intel i5 750
RAM: 8 Gb DDR3
I have Windows 7 (64 bit) installed on it.

Do you recommend that i install GunBot on this PC and let it run NON-STOP?
How many instances do you think this PC can run?
Or should i buy VPS?

I have a dynamic IP, is that a problem for Bittrex API?

Thank you!

I would recommend to buy VPS. like amazon aws or digital ocean..
As VPS would be more hassle free and bot can do its job more freely

Price you are guessing: $ 333,95

You should read OP carefully before make post into this thread, entries must be submitted within 48 hours after the topic post time so you are late this time to make prediction.

Entries will close 48 hours prior to this to avoid abuse!

Yeah I think you need to read and understand it better yourself! According to the OP, the competition will close on October 3rd at 12PM EST. It states no-where that its 48 hours after the topic post time!

66  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy another Physical Coin? on: April 26, 2015, 12:00:35 PM
As far as physical coins go, I collect them and like others have stated here, you really cant go wrong with them.
67  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy another Physical Coin? on: April 26, 2015, 11:57:16 AM
Is that last note embossed or just the effect?
I like um =)

I use 2 embossers ..one is the bitcoin logo and another that looks like a corporate seal.....
I also use 2 numbering machines, 1 for the black numbering and 1 for the UV ink numbering....

The paper is 2 factor security paper, It prints VOID when it is copied on a copier, and the 2 factor lines will disappear when you hold a finger on it....
the back of the paper also has water mark lines when its held at the right angle.... The paper will also react to solvents and alcohols, so if the hologram seal is attempted to be removed , the paper turns a brown color..... The paper also glows under Black light unlike regular white paper, and the micro threads become visible.... This paper is expensive!!!!!  Since these 2 series were printed , I have added a few more security features that are not on the pictures.....

If I need to make a new thread for questions and answers and to gauge interest.... just PM me and I will.....I would like to make pre-printed paper wallets popular.... I just didnt think people would buy them do to security /scam issues... Alot of time, thought and money went into these and Im not looking for a scammer tag.....

These pictures don't do my certificates justice.... They look really cool in hand.... If I do say so my self...

Very well done on the certificates! The embossing on them is very well done. I'm sure you would get some interest in these.

Just to make sure I understand this correctly, the only way that I (US customer) can get a loaded coin is through another reseller(ie: eBay, etc)?

I disagree here. I've always felt that there is a lack of moderation for a privately owned forum. There is just so much nonsense and people who're in signature campaigns often repeat the things that others said in the same thread. I don't remember the last time that a moderator removed my post. If there was too much moderation we'd all be feeling it.

Agreed. And sometimes, advising a topic starter to close the thread since he/she receive a sufficient response in regards to his/her questions often result in bashing from other users. Oftentimes, a thread is bombarded with redundant replies only with different words so as to hide the similarities between them. That's plainly annoying to read.

This is one of the issues that I have as well, however I find that there seems to be inconsistency when it comes to the moderation on these boards. As pointed out above, some topics are locked when the topic becomes irrelevant or the topic has been answered. But others languish on these boards even after the pleading of posters to lock the thread! I've seen multiple threads on the same topic without any moderator stepping in to remove duplicate topics. Consistency seems to be an issue with me. JMHO
That's not a issue if you understand the situation completely. You do understand that this is voluntary work and that moderators have a life? The main and only thing that you have to do is report the thread.
I don't remember a time where someone made a delete request or I saw a spam thread that didn't get removed after my report. It was probably reported by others as well. If I hadn't reported it I wouldn't notice otherwise. It also depends on the board that you're discussing a certain topic in.
It's pretty obvious that the altcoin section or off topic section will be neglected when there are a lot of reports on the other parts of the forum such as Bitcoin Discussion (just an example).

First off, I understand that the moderators on here most likely have real jobs and a life in some cases. That's not the issue. I was just stating how multiple posts would tell the moderator to lock the thread because the OP hadn't been active online in weeks when it came to his giveaway! And unfortunately this went on for a few more weeks until the thread got pushed to the back pages. Maybe you just came across better luck or had a moderator who was more proactive.

The moderation here is generally considered to have become somewhat heavy-handed recently. You aren't alone Cry

73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NeuCoin - Easy to use, free to try, focused on micropayments - Official on: April 20, 2015, 02:42:12 PM
Hi everyone,

Here are a couple elements, taken from an answer I gave to TaunSew's remarks on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1025438.20

TaunSew, a couple points:

Has anyone ever validated any of the names with NeuCoin?  I don't mean people like Brock Pierce - he's been endorsing stuff all the time (like AppleByte which was a huge flop).

NeuCoin is claiming to be partnered or invested by all these big tech names (like Henrik Kjelberg) and yet nothing on social media substantiates those claims and the only returns are from Bitcointalk and Cryptonews sites which is probably info from press releases NeuCoin wrote themselves.

I’m not sure what you mean by “nothing on social media substantiates those claims”. TechCrunch also relayed our investor names, as you can check in this article: http://techcrunch.com/2015/02/03/neucoin-is-a-new-cryptocurrency-designed-for-microtransactions/
I don’t think any of them would have liked to be mentioned in this article as well as on our website if we had made up their investment Smiley
The fact that some people here think we would be making up investors or mentioning big names without their consent probably says more about how shadowy some parts of the crypto world are than it does about us. Our investors may indeed be of a caliber not commonly associated with the altcoin space, but they are certainly real - and they wouldn't allow us to use their names in TechCrunch articles if they hadn't agreed to invest.

https://www.peercointalk.org/index.php?topic=4035.45

Looks like for weeks people been asking for proof about their initial investors.  Only deflections and straw mans from the slum lord Daniel Kaufman.

I checked the peercointalk thread you’ve been referring to, and nowhere it shows that we’ve been refusing to give proof about our investors.
As well, I would highly recommend you to read our plan, available here: http://www.neucoin.org/en/wiki/ it answers most - if not all - the points mentioned below.

Fork of Peercoin (you need millions to fork Peercoin when others did it for free?)
Over the last year, the NeuCoin project team has:
  • researched the different consensus mechanisms and more particularly PoS and wrote the industry’s most comprehensive white paper explaining the advantages of proof-of-stake versus proof-of-work,
  • built an online wallet - www.MyNeuCoin.com - that is as user-friendly as any leading Bitcoin wallet - and superior to any altcoin wallet
  • built at least one consumer on-boarding website - www.GetNeuCoin.com - a game-like tutorial designed to convert mainstream users in a fun and educational way
  • built a consumer-friendly cloud mining service that lets users effortlessly earn PoS awards through “growth accounts”
  • created partnership with RadioAirplay.com, an artist promotion company that works with 250,000 emerging musicians and Jango.com, a streaming music service with 8 million monthly listeners, to develop a NeuCoin tipping platform
  • created partnership with MondoMedia, a video content producer with the largest animation channel on YouTube to develop a premium content micropayments platform
  • created a robust vault service to store and control the sale-restricted portion of founding teams’, angel investors’ and partner companies’ sale-restricted NeuCoins

And plenty of other elements.
If you think our project is only about forking Peercoin, you need to have a more in-depth look at http://www.neucoin.org/en/wiki/.

Questionable claims about initial investors and refusal to validate
Like I said above, the founders of NeuCoin know our investors well, they have invested in each others' ventures and worked with and built companies together in the past, and all this is public record and not something you can invent. I’m not sure where the “refusal to validate” comes from.

Grandiose goals (uhh you want to attain 1 million users in 1 year when Bitcoin is still under 250,000 after 6 years?)

Bitcoin is still nowhere in terms of mainstream adoption, and there is a reason for this: Bitcoin suffers from a real free rider problem. The costs of effectively marketing Bitcoin (ideally giving some away for free) and building truly useful applications for it are high. These high costs must be borne by individual companies, while the rewards would be spread across all existing Bitcoin holders. This misalignment of costs and rewards is what is holding back utility development and consumer adoption.

Thanks for the updates.

The issue is selling pre-loaded coins here in the USA requires a MSB license.

True, and that's why at Denarium we also have empty coins. It's very unfortunate though. The loaded coins are much more interesting and the US is a big market.

Just wanted to give you props on the Denarium coin. It's a very good looking coin! Much success!

Hey Tim are you still around? I have been trying to get in touch with you via your email and website contact. I also tried contacting you at the mint phone number. I didn't get a response Sad Just wondering if you are still selling coins?

Did you ever get a response back from them? Just wondering because I thought about ordering another coin from them.

We're still around, just not very active on the forums.  We'll be maintaining our circulation of 2-factor coins for the foreseeable future, so you can always order through our website, or shoot me a PM here and I'll get back to you shortly.

I did PM micro23 right after he sent that message.  I'm not sure why he wasn't able to reach me through the usual channels, but as always, sales@titanbtc.com is monitored 7 days a week.

Tim

Thanks! Its good to know that your still active on the boards!

Sent my family and I to NYC back in September. I paid for the flight with BTC using CheapAir. Hopefully one day soon I can expand on my vacation plans!

Thank you for everyone's interest and inquiries. I have been sorting through shipping issues and pricing and am trying to figure out what the shipping cost will be for all of the coins to be shipped at once.

I will be sure to post as soon as I have the info.

I think shipping would have to be handled on a case by case situation. That way it maximizes the return for both seller and buyer.
79  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Silver Coins for BTC on: March 10, 2015, 04:24:01 AM
Would be really helpful if you declare the price.
And all of them are 1gram?

No, I think the ones pictured are all 1oz.

...

I know a short note on this thread does not count toward a BTC0.0007 per post, but I received my third payment, thank you bitmixer.

Well you turned a simple "Thank You", into a 75+ character post! Well done!
