61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥🔥🔥FARST NETWORK🚀🚀Gambling 🌟🌟AI ROBOT TRADING🌟🌟Ecosystem on: January 12, 2018, 08:50:46 PM
Actually, I had orders above 80% my initial buys at 0.0031 ETH and now they got cancelled too when it hit the 0.006 ETH mark so this exchange is not working properly. They have banned me from the telegram channel for asking these kind of questions.

Same boat with you, those developers are behaving like angry brats in their telegram. Abusing and banning everyone who does not lick their asses and bring up these issues or ask "stupid questions" in their words, no matter how polite you try to be. Abusing your own community is a way to get lots of haters and make your project fail in no time.
62  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptouniverse - Official Canaan Distributor on: January 11, 2018, 01:06:34 AM
They are not substracting VAT from the final amount for EU VAT registered company also. That should be substracted.

According to their TOS:

Quote
In the event of default, interest on arrears in the amount of 4% will be charged.

In the case of non-timely payment, a reminder fee of EUR 12.00 per reminder is due.

Won't take that risk before they fix their pricing or state clearly that VAT is deducted after hitting the final order button.

edit: Now it works. Had to drop country prefix from VAT code.

No one knows. Now that page has disappeared and their Telegram says that price is $5.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][???] BitconnectX Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 10, 2018, 04:33:51 AM
https://bitconnectx.co/faqs#

$50 per coin. total supply 49 million and 11.7 million available during ico.

So they value their shitcoin that does nothing at ~$2.5 billion and want to raise ~$600 million during ICO.

LOL, they must be really out of money and need an inject to pay interests in Bitconnect. Propably an exit scam.

Anybody else has KYC still in "submitted" state? It's been almost a month now without approval.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 256: absurdly-high-fee on: January 06, 2018, 04:14:01 PM
The transaction is just extremely large and thus has to pay a high fee. The actual fee rate is pretty low, but Bitcoin Core has a hard limit for what it considers to be an absurdly high fee. That limit is 0.1. Any transaction that pays more than 0.1 BTC in transaction fees, regardless of the fee rate, will be rejected with this error. It is not consensus invalid, it is just non-standard.

Thanks for your insight. When thinking about it, if fees continue to go up at this rate, we'll propably encounter this problem more and more in the future.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / 256: absurdly-high-fee on: January 05, 2018, 01:36:06 AM
It's not my transaction, but would like to know if someone has knowledge if there's something to be done to get this broadcasted to blockchain? Problem is that this transaction has numerous childs (unconfirmed funds spent on chain.so), so naturally those are also invalid if this does not get sorted out.

250 inputs, 2 outputs, 0.13090840 fee. Is the fee really too high or just the transaction data itself (~150kB)?

Validation Error: BitcoindException(super=com.neemre.btcdcli4j.core.BitcoindException: Error #-26: 256: absurdly-high-fee, code=-26)

E: Sorry, noticed that I posted in the wrong section. Maybe a moderator could move this to Bitcoin Technical Support? Thanks
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get stuck in chain.so transaction, what can i do? !!! on: January 04, 2018, 08:22:08 PM
Alright. I got this figured out.

The problem is Block.io's payment gateway / Chain.so mempool combination.

This is how it goes: Transactions from service provider's wallet are posted "in chain" to Chain.so. That means each payment is parent to next one. That would be fine, but Block.io also uses unconfirmed inputs over and over again in chain. So payments need to be broadcasted to other mempools in order from oldest to newest. There's no exception for that because of this.

Problem is also that those transactions do not get broadcasted, in most cases, anywhere else than Chain.so and mining pools tend to choose most of the transactions they mine from other mempools.

Therefore service providers with tens or hundreds transactions per day SHOULD NOT use Block.io ever as this will surely happen over and over again untill Block.io gets their shit together and stops using unconfirmed funds.

So propably only a few transactions in your transaction's chain are mined daily. That could mean your transactions doesn't appear on blockchain.info at all and therefore doesn't get confirmed in weeks or months depending on how many parent transactions you have unconfirmed for your transaction.

Now, If we want our transaction ever to be confirmed, we'll need to find oldest unconfirmed parent transaction on that chain and start pushing these to blockchain.info.

https://blockchain.info/pushtx

This is done by viewing transaction's raw data and finding parent for our transaction. And parent for that transaction and so on. Let's take this transaction for example:

https://chain.so/api/v2/tx/BTC/bbde5a3a3c95c8adb6171b335111494a3df445b9b933d9ba1374b719c3eceacc

Parent transaction for this would be "received_from: tx_id:" transaction hash. So parent transaction is:

https://chain.so/api/v2/tx/BTC/e6fa16b373a1e343f1a90ec188406dc1d4edbd8f8b79306a25c13f0eb39a8f08

Then when you encounter first confirmed transaction you start going backwards and pushing hex data from each transaction to blockchain.info.

You'll need to push those transaction hex's to blockchain.info EXACTLY from oldest to newest transaction. You can't skip a single one, otherwise push tx fails with an error. For example:

Code:
Missing parents for bbde5a3a3c95c8adb6171b335111494a3df445b9b933d9ba1374b719c3eceacc while inserting: [e6fa16b373a1e343f1a90ec188406dc1d4edbd8f8b79306a25c13f0eb39a8f08]

I know this as I had to go through almost 800 transactions and push all those to blockchain.info to get my transactions confirmed. Keep in mind also, that Blockchain.info allows only 25 unconfirmed transactions at a time per wallet. So if you have pushed 25 transactions, you need to wait confirmations for those before continuing.

I hope this helps.

edit: And yet another reason to stay away from Block.io.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Chain 3 missing on: December 30, 2017, 08:32:45 PM
I got my chain 3 back after flashing Blissz firmware on my D3. First it was missing 4 asics but after running couple of hours it found those too. Though still quite lot of HW errors, but it mines at full speed +19 GH/s. Not gonna touch it anymore Cheesy
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get stuck in chain.so transaction, what can i do? !!! on: December 30, 2017, 06:15:36 PM
The problem with these Chain.so transactions is that accelerators don't even recognize the transaction. I have couple of these incoming:

https://chain.so/tx/BTC/d5cc26fab97f770feb757d701211fa7c8d76606a317de1e0a19adb99568d34ba

When trying to broadcast raw data to other nodes, I just get an error messages for these that transaction is invalid. For example:

Quote
16: bad-txns-vin-empty. Code:-26

Quote

Any insights whats wrong with these transactions?

Whoever tries to participate from his calls could lose money. Stay away from his calls.
There are only few people who really make profits. Rest will lose money.
Where winners exists, there are also losers.
True. Stay away.

Didn't even try to buy, just went to see what happens. Price was already coming down when finally got in about 8 minutes after his tweet. Many people lost their money today. He should stop this, it doesn't do any good for crypto.

And btw, by joining P&D goups, you risk your account on exchanges and your money in it. Atleast Bittrex has said that they'll ban all those who are participating in these. Think twice before going in.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Pump & Dump Group on: December 25, 2017, 02:10:31 PM
lol, what a shitshow. Bittrex comes instantly unreachable after his tweet. Propably he has his sell orders already in place to make $$$ out of fools.

Anyone else has BTC deposit in pending limbo? 40+ confirmations on blockchain, but still pending on Ucoin. I heard their support is next to non existent, is that true or do they reply?

Damn, I missed exchange opening because of this.
78  Economy / Scam Accusations / EZACOIN - Bangkok based cloud mining scam - Ezacoin.com on: December 18, 2017, 03:40:51 PM
Ezacoin is (or was) a cloud mining provider based in Bangkok, Thailand. It's fairly new provider as they opened their service on september 2017.

https://www.ezacoin.com/

In October, after seeing photos and images of their mining equipment and facilities on their social media pages decided to give it a try with couple of small contracts.

https://www.facebook.com/pg/ezacoin/photos/

https://www.facebook.com/pg/ezacoinmining/photos/

https://twitter.com/ezacoin

As of today my mining power with them is 7,8 TH/s. For those contracts I paid them total of ~0.285 BTC @ $239 per TH/S, 2 year contracts. So far I've been paid out ~0.063 BTC

http://image.ibb.co/iFqOkR/ezacoin_2.png

http://image.ibb.co/b8jSC6/ezacoin_1.png

Everything went smoothly until yesterday when I noticed that earnings were not credited to my Ezacoin internal wallet. Thought it was just a glitch until encountered this on their facebook page

http://image.ibb.co/dsRPs6/ezacoin_3_scam.png

https://www.facebook.com/ezacoin/posts/837409379763795

Now doing short calculation with today's Bitcoin value I should get back 7.84 x $239 / $18 716 = ~0.1 BTC

Let's add that to what they already paid me: 0.063 + 0.1 = 0.163 BTC.

So I paid 0.285 BTC to get back 0.163 BTC. At todays rate $2000 loss for me. That's if they'll ever pay even that what they promise on their Facebook update. Otherwise it's 0.222 BTC loss.

So basically their customers paid those S9's for them and now when bitcoin is peaking and profitability all time high, they kick them out to get all the profits. I'll recover for sure, but I feel terrible for locals, as most of them have not that much money and many of them might lost big part of their life savings with this.

Sure, they could have just exited and paid nothing, but still this is a rip off. And yes, they promised a dollar value back what we paid for the contracts, but no one would have paid them with their Bitcoin if they knew that the end result will be this. No one.

I don't know how many customers they actually have, as propably 99% of them are Thai and they have their own channels to discuss these matters, but if there's Thai users browsing this thread I'd love to hear if it's possible for foreigner to file a police report online outside of the country?

There are some photos of their facilities that may help to recognize the address they are located. For example this transformer should be fairly easy to locate by Bangkok local authorities by contacting electricity company:

http://image.ibb.co/ntQEQR/eza_power.jpg

Another transformer. Their facility is on right behind the transformer:

http://image.ibb.co/k8FpQR/eza_power_2.jpg

Their facility:

http://image.ibb.co/fgwPs6/eza_facility.jpg

http://image.ibb.co/kfd9QR/eza_facility_2.jpg

They'll propably do this again with a new domain whenever they need money for new hardware. Locals should go and teach them a lesson they'll never forget.

Edit:

Keywords Ezacoin scam, Eza coin scam, Ezacoin.com scam

Finally got my tokens, although verification still pending.

Token calculation for ETH purchases seems to suddenly be way off. For 1 ETH you get 97.2 tokens and for 1 BTC 25,425.5 tokens. Someone forgot a zero from conversion?
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] «Envion» Most Profitable Self-Expanding Crypto Infrastructure on: December 15, 2017, 09:23:50 PM
Same thing happened for me I just closed it after recieving all the confirmation emails that my documents were uploaded and were waiting for verification wich can take a couple of days.

I still recieved my tokens so I guess its fine to close the tab and carry on you can still log in later and restart the verification process if need be.

Can you see your tokens/transaction on the dashboard?

https://ico.envion.org/#!/dashboard

I've nothing there even though my transaction appears in their wallet at https://etherscan.io/address/0xd780ae2bf04cd96e577d3d014762f831d97129d0

Propably that damned KYC unlinked my ETH wallet from my account after numerous restart attempts for verification. Didn't want to miss out this one but apparently I'm forced to skip further transactions.
