61  Other / Meta / Re: Merited posts on: January 30, 2018, 02:52:23 PM
I don't think that there is someone who will read each and every posts in a thread just to give away merits. In order to get it we must work for it. Probably answer queries, give useful suggestions and a constructive post so if someone gets satisfied or find it helpful for them, then there's a possibility to be given merits. This new system would really require us to be post with quality. Let's continue to work hard Smiley
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to know if an ico is serious or not? on: January 30, 2018, 01:31:00 PM
You can do it by reading their white paper. You have to assess the potential of the ICO you are investing. Its important that you know the product /service itself, the vision and the team behind it. Sometimes the marketing strategy carries the ICO if it gets the attention of the people then it's likely to succeed.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice for Newbies - Day trading VS Long Term - POLL on: January 30, 2018, 12:21:44 PM
For me long term investing is profitable than trading which can give a short-term/day by day earning. It also depends on your lifestyle, if you are a stay at home buddy but needs to earn everyday trading is hood enough. But you have to watch in the coin's value from time to time and trust your instinct of the best time to trade. While in investing you will just hold your coins nd wait for it  to appreciate.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is created? on: January 30, 2018, 07:59:05 AM
Bitcoin is created for payments electronically in any merchandize that accept bitcoin. The advantage is during exchange of bitcoin there is no middleman or authority like banks so that the information and transaction cannot reveal if there is no middleman i think thats why bitcoin is created.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin price so stable in 2018? on: January 30, 2018, 05:17:34 AM
The price is not stable, it is actually moving within the range of 11k-12k. Despite of the low price this should not cause panic, this is just the beginning of the year and more exciting things are yet to come.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No future for bitcoin on: January 29, 2018, 04:03:46 PM
I disagree in "no future for bitcoin" because if you have read a lot of articles and news some other countries uses bitcoin for payment tranctions on some businesses. In addition I believe that in the future many countries will adopt bitcoin but offcourse by the support of government.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not compare Bitcoin with money? on: January 28, 2018, 04:20:54 PM
Bitcoin and money have similarity in terms of transaction. They can both transac via online as long as there is internet connectivity like bills payment , but money is a paper with fixed value defends on what country you belong while bitcoin is a digital currency that change its value anytime.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: What determines the after ICO price? on: January 28, 2018, 11:05:32 AM
The price is determined by the demand and the supplies for a certain coin. If there are more people willing to invest or buy that coin then the developer would bid it for a higher value and that's what dictates the price. But when fewer people are buying it then they will sell it for a lower price.
69  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are Exchanges becoming too unstable ? on: January 27, 2018, 11:24:17 PM
I think it's due to the hype of crypto market, people are getting more involved and wanted to be engaged with cryptocurrency. Well, due to its potential that it can make you rich. Exchanges are getting stucked and traffic due to volume of transactions, users are waiting for a long line to get their transaction push thru. This would he the dilemma that needed to he solved.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any techniques in investing in bitcoins? on: January 27, 2018, 03:33:04 PM
I think all you need is to consider your financial status before you invest. Try to invest if you have extra money and make an addition to your investment if the result makes you satisfied. And also you have to know all about bitcoin including the rules and regulations and how it works.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading strategies on: January 27, 2018, 11:44:59 AM
I dont think there is a strategynfor trading because cryptocurrency is really volatile and nonone can sharply predict its price. For me if you are a trader just closely watch the value of the coin you're trading. Also, you can study the historical value if the coin for reference.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recover wallet from damaged PC on: January 27, 2018, 04:13:04 AM
Awww that's sad to hear, but you can still recover that if you were able to backup you privte keys. If not, there's no other way of getting it back. That's why it's very important to back up our files/private keys, hope this can be a reminder for everyone to take precautions when it comesnin our wallet security.
73  Other / Meta / Re: People might sell they're merit points. on: January 26, 2018, 03:11:48 PM
I think this merit system will teach all the bitcoiners to be patient in posting to reach the target merit to rankup. Its one way to all bitcoiners to be active , make constructive comments and improve our knowledge and thought about bitcoin  to be able to earned more if we rankup. But on the other part it is possible to sell merit to other bitcoiner who is willing to pay to rankup without knowing it.

77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO investment Risk on: January 24, 2018, 05:59:37 AM
Working in any ICO won't guarantee 100% success, risk is always associated in any investment. Just to minimize the risk just invest a tolerable amount or an amount that you can afford to lose.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: January 24, 2018, 03:23:24 AM
I don't think so, banks is were people keep their fiat. And even bitcoin already exist, still more people are utilizing fiat over crypto. Fiat is still the currency revolves and circulates in an economy so we really need banks. To safekeep our money. Also bitcoin and banks is somehow correlated because conversion and exchanges of btc to fiat is transacted over banks.
