When will the exchange be ready?
The DEX has always been scheduled for Q1 2018 - which means by March 31st. So far, NVO has not commented on if this date is still accurate or not. Personally, I think this is because they don't know. They may make it, they may not. |

Sorry for the absence of the last week, I had to move out, i didn't noticed but i loosed a lot of positive ways, actually i am totally boosted, the rhythm tired me a bit, i stayed like 8 months in the same place. Now moved out, ready for new performances. I will organize all of this and announce the new updates once ready In order to give you an overview of what is coming in the few days. - Veserus is almost done, so NVO will soon be listed there. - The cluster is going to be delivered soon, the company preparing the configuration is almost ready to deliver them, then will come a small setup phase and benchmarking - Once done, we will connect the wallet to the cluster which will provide a far more stable env, linking Veserus to the wallet to enable quick exchange - Ton had the great idea of making a centralized social media design, this project will be decentralized in the future, once we have more time, but it will definitly a great addition for NVO Please share the updates, especially BTCT (plz) i am overcrowded for now, Thanks guys |

I'm a fan of NVO, but the fact of the matter is that everyone and their grandmother are now creating their own DEX. The longer it takes for NVO to launch, the less of an impact that it will have in the market space. Currently, we have Flyp.me, which is a decentralized exchange that has been up and running since August. They are still relatively unknown, but they're gaining more volume each month. The only way that NVO succeeds is if there is continued exponential demand for cryptocurrencies.
It looks like a new exchange gets launched every week and some of them will offer fiat to crypto exchange. The more time that passes, the less of an impact NVO will have when it eventually launches. Just my 2 cents.
Well, considering my grandmother would have a hard time understanding how to turn on a computer, let alone know what crypto is, let alone how to set up a DEX, and assuming that most grandmothers are in a similar situation to my own, I'm pretty sure the quality level of all of these grandmothers' DEXes is nothing to worry about compared to the complexity of the NVO DEX. As for flyp.me, it relies on other centralized exchanges to perform a trade, holds funds in a centralized wallet to facilitate trades, and sends centralized funds programmatically once your own funds are transmitted on the blockchain. It is NOT a DEX. It's just a web front end (with an api) that allows you to trade using other exchanges' liquidity anonymously. That's it. You still must trust the flyp.me operators to perform the trade. Just like any other centralized exchange. I guess that we can conclude that your grandmother isn't a candidate, but mine is. You may have a point about Flyp.me not being a DEX, but NEX definitely is. No matter how you slice it, NVO's novelty will be lost in a sea of DEXes about to be launched. If I had a dollar for every person who thinks all of these limited dex's coming out have any candle to hold to the depth of NVO.... The only one I can think of that will be competition is Blocknet - and even with them they are limited to coins that utilize the lightning network. NVO has stated from the beginning a release time of Q1 2018 - and here we are not even through with the first month of Q1 and folks are starting to complain. |

That's normal for an unconfirmed transaction. It sounds like you've successfully sent your funds so I would just wait for them to confirm at this point.

With Stellar announcing their DEX and many others developing DEX's is NVO relevant anymore? What will set the NVO DEX apart from these?
Serious question. Long term NVST hodler here.
Unfortunately the reality is this space is evolving quickly, if they don't produce a product in a timely manner bigger projects, with bigger budgets, and better coders will undoubtedly snuff projects like this out. There is still plenty of demand for the ecosystem to support more exchanges but timing at this point is critical as NVO needs to start establishing a user base. With that said I am an investor from the ICO and will continue to support this project as there are a few things that, IMO, will differentiate it from others. I am not a coder - but I have heard that more coders does not always mean faster results. The current NVO team may be the perfect size. And as far as better coders - how do you know we don't have the best?  |

No dude, it was pure pump and dump performed by TSWR ( a regular investor, not a team member) from his reddit post. It was pure speculation from him and several members who hyped the price artificially. There is no particular reason for the price to grow. No any development updates, no news from the team, nothing. The team doesn't communicate at all and it's been silent for a while. Yet there are people who fall for it. Do you know how many people bought in this last week? Do you know how many people "dumped" to get out, and what their positions were beforehand? Do you see TSWR still here, or did he leave after "dumping" as you assert? Do pump-and-dumps normally come from a few insiders selling a lot of shares at once, or from a lot of sellers selling very little spread out over time? If you used your tiny little mind to spend as much time researching the subject matter you rage on about as you spend mashing your little fists on the keyboard about your hallucinatory delusions, you would know the answers to these questions, and would come to the rational conclusion that this is an organic growth spurt from a small number of addresses buying in for six figure dollar amounts in a short amount of time, not a "pump and dump" scheme in any sense of the phrase. Where are my tokens? Did you send Bitcoin to the crowdsale, or did you send an altcoin? The the initial value of nvo hasn't increased much, maybe slightly. This is due to the fact that TSWR pumped the coin by compiling the update. In fact the things he mentioned aren't anything new actually, he just made it look a like a big thing/update so people started panic buying. A single post on Reddit that was essentially a collection of cut and paste snippets from various public sources - and you think this is a pump? You really have no idea how any of this works, do you? No wonder you rage quit, you're just confused by simple market mechanics. For those of you watching at home, the recent rise is due to new money coming in. The counterparty market is so thin, that any money flow will push it one direction or the other very quickly. The buyer yesterday dumped about $40k of new cash all at once, buying out the already thin ask side and practically quadrupling the value in both BTC and USD terms in a span of 15 minutes. It has since settled to about 2x what it was trading previously, in terms of both BTC and USD. XCP/BTC has been trading sideways since that time, locking in the price in BTC terms, while BTC has fallen against the Dollar, meaning the NVST/USD price has fallen apace with the broader market. As I am typing this, another several orders for about 10k NVST from new money have been placed and are waiting for confirmation. There are new buyers coming in. The value is increasing. You've demonstrated yet again your inability to understand how the NVST market works and are projecting your own flawed analysis onto something you simply have no aptitude for. And yet, you lurk. edit: the orders have confirmed and were added above the existing bid orders, spread out to try and hide the wall effect. There is now $35k of mostly new money at the top of the bid side, all within about 7-8% of the current price (pretty tight for Counterparty.) Further bids are still below, and represent previous orders You really like to read through the lines, do you? Of course XCP has most of the percentage gains on nvo as it went to 100 dollars few days back, since nvo is tied with xcp it automatically increase the token value. That's why i said nvo hasn't grown much. In order to grow inherently, the bid price in xcp/nvst should surge, not taking into account the usd value. As I said the new orders are result of two things: xcp plummeting to 50 dollars and TSWR pumping the coin buy copy-pasting (as you said) old updates and putting them together to look appealing. Both of this factor contributed to the higher demand and price "surge", as people who are not in slack thought these were big news. Look at the hype this "update" has triggered in the above posts here. This confirms my analysis. Be objective for once. The rise of XCP has little to do with the recent rise in NVST/USD price. Most of the new orders are from fresh XCP buys, where everyone is well aware of the cost to buy XCP and the cost to trade that for NVST. As far as TSWR "pumping" the price, his updates are straight from Ton in slack where you were banned for being an incessant annoyance and continue this behavior to every NVO board you can find. You must enjoy getting a rise out of the community. Doesn't bother me as I know what I am sitting on in NVO and am quite happy with the progress. The NVST token is now trading at 4x the ico price, with little advertising, a horrible exchange process, and only a buggy beta wallet. Once they release the updated wallet soon, and begin their serious advertising campaign and the Veserus exchange, we will begin to see NVST price climb higher and the public turned on to what will become a dominant force in the crypto world. And you sir, I hope you saved some tokens! They will be hard to come by. edit: looks like some more NVST was just sold for over $4 USD each, even as XCP price is on a steady decline from the high it reached 5 days ago...  |

it is not about that, the listing issue isn't about been ERC20 or not, the exchanges are scared as they are considering NVST as a security, which why they don't want to list. What are the implications here for NVO/NVST holders and how do they get dividends if no other exchanges will list the token?Will vesereus have liquidity that allows NVST dividends to be cashed out etc?Also how will compliance be done if this is classed as a security when people did not understand this was situation when they bought their tokens etc? NVST holders will not receive proceeds from the decentralized exchange until that exchange is running, and the payouts of NVSX as well as the buyback to convert to BTC will all be handled by the decentralized exchange and wallet. Veserus is a centralized exchange that will not be associated with NVSX tokens. As far as we know, NVST holders will not receive a portion of fees collected from Veserus. As far as compliance, NVO is a decentralized entity and is under no governmental jurisdiction. It is up to each holder of NVST to determine the legality of their NVSX payments. |

Hey guys - good stuff! Here's a little update from Ton in the slack just now:
just to let everyone know that everything is progressing well
was asked today how we manage to support so many different blockchains while other wallets tend to usually be only ethereum and it's tokens
the devs spent a lot of time into this wallet so that we can integrate with other blockchains in the future (not just erc20 tokens)
it's really something that no one else has managed to accomplish at this size and we are quite proud of it. Now we have to stabilize the wallets with the API clusters and then we can ready to advertise
Exodus supports 5 blockchains and the rest are erc20 tokens
with the NVO wallet we can easily add ERC20 later on
Jaxx supports 6 blockchains and rest are erc20
NVO supports 8 and the other 2 are protocols on the Bitcoin blockchain just with the first release
so nemgun has thought really far into the future while developing on the wallet and that's really amazing imo
and most of the blockchains and protocols we have added are used for adding tokens so we can expect to support the most coins easily by the next updates to come. In the future we can expect to be the top wallet.
i have the CEO of ledger on skype so once we are ready we can integrate but it's not a priority at this stage of development
Veserus is going great we are optimizing the exchange for later use with NVO. The old UIs were really hard on the eyes so I had them change it. I don't want to shoot myself trying to read the numbers at night
unfortunately there won't be a light version
just one semi-dark version but it's really easy to use that's all we need
